Race 1:
OVERVIEW: UNIQUELY IDEAL (6) smart mare that resumes from a freshen up and finished 4th in the Breeders Crown Final back in November and then bolted in at her next start. Hard to beat. STEEL THE MOMENT (11) lightly raced pacer resuming from a lengthy spell. Showed good ability when last in work and raced well fresh last campaign. Expect a big showing. BONA KHAN (10) relishes the sprint trips and racing with great zest. Must be respected again. T BONE WALKER (5) dour pacer that has performed well since arriving from New Zealand and will make his presence felt again. HEZA DOOZIE (1) HERNIE (8) EASTBRO KOZZY (9) TORQUE POWER (7) ALWAYS STEAMED UP (4) BATTON ROUGE (3) all have showed ability and are amongst the place and first four chances.

Race 2:
OVERVIEW: THE NARCISSIST (2) was first up for the Emma Stewart stable and won easily when leading throughout and draws favourably again here and should prove hard to beat. SNOW HUNTER (4) led throughout last start and was impressive winning in sick times. Was exposed without cover two starts ago when finishing fourth and the draw here is similar again. Must be respected. KEAYANG WASABI (9) chased home a smart type last start and from the nice trailing draw here should enjoy a good trip. Should get every chance. Both SHADOW CELT (10) and CRIME WRITER (12) are racing well and do have good ability, but will rely on a fast tempo to be running on late whilst IM SHADOW BOXER (8) and EASTBRO CHRISSY (7) are amongst the place and first four hopes.

Race 3:
OVERVIEW: JOHNNY REDCOAT (7) amazing local pacer at 14yo and still enjoying his racing and is never far away. Drawn wide and will need some luck but deserves a win on the big stage at his home Cup day. SWISS LIGHTNING (5) speedy type that will settle on the speed and might give a good sight in this. ITTAKESLUV (9) is second up and will strip fitter and from the nice trailing draw can show improvement here. CREATIVE LAD (8) runner up last start but faces a tricky draw here. If the breaks go his way he can run well. GOODTIME STRYKER (6) FAMOUS LABEL (3) and MICTON MOUSE (10) all have claims.

Race 4:
OVERVIEW: SOHO MARGARITA (10) 3yo filly that run well when first up last start and finished off nicely. One of the main chances here. WICKED HANGOVER (1) should be primed after two runs back from a spell and gets the plum pole position draw. Can run a race here and get every chance. MAXY BOMBER (11) lightly raced and has shown ability. Expect him to be running on late. LOUISE LUCK (8) can follow through nicely here and will enjoy a soft trip. Not out of it. PURPLE KAIDA (4) has been placed on four occasions from seven starts to date. Can figure in the finish. HUXHAM CHUBB (5) capable of improving her figure form and can’t be ignored. THE BLAZINBOOTS (7) improving type showing ability, drawn wide and will need luck but has claims. SHEZ MIKIS CRIME (9) nicely bred mare having her first start and has enjoyed multiple trials for her race debut. Place claims.

OVERVIEW: KEAYANG CHUCKY (8) classy trotter that has been racing at the highest level. Runner up in the Inter Dominion Final two starts ago and will prove hard to beat. HAROLD SMITH (6) delivered his first Australian win at his second start here, stand form in New Zealand is very strong. Can threaten. ALDEBARAN VERA (7) quality mare that is a winner from the stand conditions and is a definite chance. WISH UPONA DREAM (5) is going well and relishes these conditions, can run well. OLD VILLA BOY (1) gave a great sight last start when working to the lead but was run down. Up in class but can give a sight. HES A HAMMER (3) broke up last start when unplaced but prior form was solid. First try from the stand and over the staying trip. Place and first four claims along with SONARMI JOH (4) that loves the stand conditions along with ICICLE (2).

STARZINHEREYES (9) gets a good trailing draw and is in good form. One of the chances. TRUE BLUE ROSE (4) MARTIN MAGIC (6) BAYSIDE VICTORY (2) THE TRI LINE (8) MY ATLANTIS (10) YANKEE MOJOH (11) all have ability and can’t be dismissed as having claims with suitable trips.

STORMRYDER (5) bold front runner that has the gate speed to press forward and be in this for a long way. BLAKE BOLAC (4) first time over the staying trip but is very dour and can settle handy. In form and must be respected. ARGGGHHH (11) GHOST OF TIME (13) TIGER BAND WAGON (12) OPERATIVE LINE (9) YOUNG BLUEY (8) all have good ability and will be running on late whilst LINCOLN RIVER (3) strips fitter and can’t be dismissed. ROCKNROLL WALLA (10) and DANCE AWAY (2) are first four hopes.

MICHAYWEY (9) shows good ability and was finishing hard again last start a major chance. JILLIBY GIDDEY (4) heavily supported to win stylishly at his race debut and can measure up again. MIKI STEAMED HOME (5) HEAVY METAL HAMMER (6) THE SPORTZ STAR (7) TIME TO TORQUE (8) RUFF NUT (10) all have ability and can’t be dismissed as having claims.
