Form Analysis by Darren Clayton

RACE ONE

It has been a while between winner’s drinks for CALL ME TROUBLE (6) however some of his recent effort suggest he is not too far away and he finds a suitable field of opponents in this. Strong to the line two starts back, he can look to end the drought.

FENOMENAL (4) will take further benefit from his latest outing when second up from a spell. Stepping to the front before taking cover, he could not go with the leader which kicked clear for a dominant victory. If chasing, a smaller field will help.

KIVICI (3) was a winner off the 50m tape here four starts back and has not been too far away in each start since. 3rd behind GOLDEN SUNSET last time, he can chime in.

ITSALLANDOVER (1) can look to make the most of the 10m advantage on his rivals to settle up near the speed early and from that position would loom as a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: CALL ME TROUBLE (6), FENOMENAL (4), KIVICI (3), ITSALLANDOVER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: CALL ME TROUBLE (6) to win

RACE TWO

Building back into her latest preparation, JUST CALL ME MOLLY (1) has improved each time she has stepped out. Making good metres last time from the 20m tape to get within a half-head of the winner, a return to the front tape is a huge asset and she finds conditions to cash in.

VOLTAIN (3) was snookered on the poles last start and picked off some late metres when 8m from the winner MIRA SATURN. A winner four starts back with a safe start to find the pocket trail, she can get handy off the front tape to issue a challenge.

KYVALLEY FINN (6) came from the 30m tape last start and made some impression late when chasing home behind MIRA SATURN. Moving to a 10m tape is a huge plus for this contest.

MELPARK MAGIC (10) started off 40m last time and loomed up but just peaked in the closing stages to finish 2m from the winner. These conditions are in his favour.

SELECTIONS: JUST CALL ME MOLLY (1), VOLTAIN (3), KYVALLEY FINN (6), MELPARK MAGIC (10)
SUGGESTED BET: JUST CALL ME MOLLY (1) to win

RACE THREE

Making her debut in August 2023, PLAYING FOR KEEPS (4) was not seen again until two weeks ago from a second line gate at Redcliffe. Doing plenty wrong in the run, it was a smart effort to grab the silver and with the wider expanses of this deck and experience, she can capitalise.

ELIARN (5) broke maiden ranks on Thursday at Redcliffe and will look to double-dip the non-winner’s grade here. Runner-up to subsequent winner MOVE HEAVENNEARTH three starts back, she produced a starchy effort to score last time when parked.

CRADOCK (7) was second up off a long break last start when making an error that had him banished to the trials. Earning the return, he faces a tough ask from this gate.
KYBLAKEY STAR (1) should appreciate an improved gate after tough draws in his two career starts to date. Tucked in behind the speed can see him chase a podium return.

SELECTIONS: PLAYING FOR KEEPS (4), ELIARN (5), CRADOCK (7), KYBLAKEY STAR (1)
SUGGESTED BET: PLAYING FOR KEEPS (4) to win

RACE FOUR

He comes up with the tough gate, but CALL TO ORDER (7) might just have found the right conditions. Returning from a spell when midfield behind BRONSKI ZULU in the Redcliffe Guineas, he was buried from inside the second line last time out.

EDWARD JAY (10) started from inside the second line and struck trouble last time out, ending any chance. Chasing home the smart OUR INDIFFERENCE two starts back, that winner has subsequently won and despite a tricky gate for this assignment, he can throw down a challenge.

INDI AIR TONIGHT (6) overcame a wide second line gate at the 2138 two starts back after making a strong move down the back stretch. Strong to the line last start, she is right in this.

BRITTS MATE (4) was the best of the chasers behind the handy OUR INDIFFERENENCE on Friday which had followed a Redcliffe victory. She can be handy enough to chime in.

SELECTIONS: CALL TO ORDER (7), EDWARD JAY (10), INDI AIR TONIGHT (6), BRITTS MATE (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

A tough one to line up here made no easier by the 2138 metre trip which will sort a few of these out. JUSTROLLINGAROUND (2) has the gate to get handy early and with options thereafter finds the gate, opposition and conditions to stake claim for another victory.

BLUE BLOODZ (8) has faced the starter on three occasions since returning from a spell, the latest when making good metres from the second line to finish 4m astern of the winner. Only a head from DAGGY LAMB when resuming, he will be probing for space to challenge.

HEAVENLY WISDOM (5) was making a late play last start and grabbed 3rd when 3m from the winner. Midfield over this trip the start prior, she can look to grab another minor here.

TULHURST SMOOCHER (10) was a winner at the mile here two starts back when pressing forward from the second line to sit parked. The gate over the longer trip makes it tough.

SELECTIONS: JUSTROLLINGAROUND (2), BLUE BLOODZ (8), HEAVENLY WISDOM (5), TULHURST SMOOCHER (10)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

Racing in consistent form, APHRODITE (2) has the gate to get forward early and be open to options thereafter. Game in holding on for the silver here on Friday after sitting parked from gate 6, it was a starchy effort two back when 4m from MERGE RIGHT. This looks within reach.

KERBANG (6) was handed the ODM embargo following his effort last start at Redcliffe where he was down the line behind subsequent winner MOMENTUM SWING. Trying to chime in from the second line two runs back, he can rely on some tempo to issue a challenge.

KHULAN KID (4) was unable to secure position last start and was forced to ease before finishing all over the top of them to post a 2m margin. He can be making a raid again here.

MAJIC MOMENT (9) has placed at her past two starts, the latest on Saturday where she was 3rd behind SHEZ NOTRIOUS. Trailing through, any tempo will be aiding her chances.

SELECTIONS: APHRODITE (2), KERBANG (6), KHULAN KID (4), MAJIC MOMENT (9)
SUGGESTED BET: APHRODITE (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

At her best when able to find a cheap lead, FILLY THIRTEEN (2) has the early speed to take up the running here. Forced to retreat here last week and too far back to loom behind BORSELLINO, she was just 3m from GIBA DELY RAY two starts back. The gate is a huge asset.

DAGGY LAMB (9) has hit the board in all four AP appearances, the latest when pressing to the front from gate 5 but unable to fight them off. Runner-up two starts back, he will start from the second line for the first time since arriving and can defy the gate to challenge.

BORSELLINO (7) was heavily supported to run favourite last start and was never in danger when powering away to an effortless 9m margin. The car park gate makes this a tougher ask, but positioning cheaply will assist his challenging chances.

FOR NO REASON (8) has been runner-up at her past two starts, the latest when the best of the chasing pack behind BORSELLINO. With the cosy trip to behind the speed, she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: FILLY THIRTEEN (2), DAGGY LAMB (9), BORSELLINO (7), FOR NO REASON (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 2-7-9-8

RACE EIGHT

RESILIENT (6)
started from the second line here two starts back and found space to dart back to the inside when finishing best to claim victory. Attacking the line strongly last time out for the silver over the 2138, he receives no favours from this gate but looks to find a winnable race.

THE MAHARANI (4) chases a hat-trick of wins after returning from a spell in smart order. Overcoming the second line last start, she charged home to grab a 2m margin. With early hustle, she can find position to issue a challenge.

CHARGE AHEAD (5) is a capable gelding resuming for his 4YO term. Last seen when 3m away in the Triad Consolation, he opened the pipes with a tidy trial in readiness for the return.

MISTER FONZI (10) secured 3rd last start after settling in the 1x1 trail and finishing 4m from the winner FRANCO MACHO. With he right tempo, he can be chiming in over the closing stages.

SELECTIONS: RESILIENT (6), THE MAHARANI (4), CHARGE AHEAD (5), MISTER FONZI (10)
SUGGESTED BET: RESILIENT (6) to win

RACE NINE

Relying on some factors in his favour, if ART JESTER (8) can get to the passing lane with momentum, he will get his chance to strike. Attacking the line two starts back when under 2m from MIKI MAGIC, he will be stalking and ready to take his shot.

LUVBITE (3) is never far from the action and last start was looming to grab the bronze where he was 2m from the winner BETTOR ROMANCE. Trying to see them off over the mile two starts back, he will press forward to issue a challenge.

HASTY BID (6) will take further benefit from his latest outing when second up from a let up. 4m from the winner OBI ONE, he can be making a late riad here.

APOLLO DREAMZ (9) landed in a great position behind the leader from two the second line here last week but just missed up the passing lane. He can be thereabouts once again.

SELECTIONS: ART JESTER (8), LUVBITE (3), HASTY BID (6), APOLLO DREAMZ (9)
SUGGESTED BET: ART JESTER (8) win/place
