Race 1:
OVERVIEW: KARTIARE (12) lightly raced 3yo that has notched up an impressive record having won four from six race starts to date and was an easy heat winner last start and should prove hard to beat. SPICEY MAJOR (11) should be ready to peak fitness wise after three runs back from a long spell and will be running home strongly. CALLING BUDDY (6) proved too tough winning his heat last start and is sure to make his presence felt again here. Early gate speed runners ROYLANCE (4) and YERING SOHO (3) should settle handy and be in this for a long way whilst EDWARD GRANGE (10) and MORVAH (13) will be running home late and have place and first four claims.

Race 2:
OVERVIEW: SASSCILIAN (9) has been finishing just behind the placegetters in recent starts and gets a nice trailing draw in this and should be running home strongly. Each way. TREACHEROUSTIMES (3) has been in great form in recent times and looks well placed again and should prove hard to hold out. BLISSFULL LILLY (4) has been very competitive in this class and can measure up here again along with HAIR RAZOR (5) and both horses can fight out the finish. LAVADA GOLD (8) drawn to get a soft trip and does have a big finishing burst and just needs a few openings to be storming home late and can’t be dismissed.

OVERVIEW: SHOOBEES SPIRIT (9) worked hard and was brave in defeat when runner up in his heat last start and can fight out the finish again. BENBULLAN (8) strong effort to win his heat but faces a more challenging draw from the second row. Hard to hold out. ILLAWONG PHOENIX (4) didn’t have the best of racing luck last start and was doing his best work late. Not out of this. GOODTIME MIKI (2) led all the way to win his heat last start and will be attempting to do the same again here. Can give a sight. OCEANIQUE (7) placed at her past two starts and is a place and first four hope.

CHAPPY STREETNORTH (6) a fast beginner that likes to lead and is sure to be in this for a long way. MISTIE REIGN (7) drawn wide but is sure to be running home late and must be respected whilst UBETTA KNOT (8) has been racing against stronger opposition and has claims. BRAEBEACH (3) GOODTIME OSCAR (2) GOODTIME MACH (4) SHALLOW BEACH (1) all have favourable draws and are amongst the place and first four chances.

OVERVIEW: REINDER (1) gets his best draw in recent starts after some promising recent performances. Should get every chance from the draw and be fighting out the finish again. DEEBRAXTON (6) resumes from a spell and has shown promise in the past. Expect a forward showing and is a definite winning chance. MIKIS JOE (2) has been racing well though finishing just behind the placegetters in recent starts. Can figure in the finish. LADY BLOOMFIELD (3) has shown ability and does have gate speed but does have her share of quirks. Capable but needs to be taken on trust. RIDDLEMETHIS (8) drawn to get a soft trip and can show improvement.

Race 6:
OVERVIEW: KYVALLEY PICASSO (7) did things wrong last start but was in great form prior. Despite the wide draw here expect a big showing again. BUSLIN BRODY (6) nice effort last start behind a promising type and that form line might be strong for this. One of the chances. OUR SAFARI SUN (4) hasn’t won for a while but showing glimpses of getting back into form. Has claims. MOJITO MADNESS (5) hard horse to catch and does have the ability to be winning this but must be taken on trust. AT THE DISTANCE (3) a last start winner but can mix his form and is amongst the chances again whilst SUNDAYS SHADOW (2) is never far away and has claims along with MAORI DUCHESS (1).

DISTANT SUN (6) lightly raced 3yo that shows good ability and was a winner at this track last start and expect another forward showing. DOSSIER (7) a winner three runs ago but has been doing things wrong of late. Can make amends here. ALDEBARANSPARTACUS (4) ADJURE (5) PRETTY PENNY MAORI (1) have shown ability and can’t be dismissed.

MACHO MAORI (4) has been in consistent form and looks suited to be fighting out the finish here. Both BLANCO CANYON (2) and MYRTLE VALE (3) have favourable draws to be well placed in this and expect forward showings. KYVALLEY MUGSY (1) SPIRITED LASS (6) MONT SALLY (5) all have ability but proven to be very risky and must be taken on trust to produce their best manners.
