RWWA STEWARDS’ SUMMARY REPORT
MEETING HELD AT WAGIN ON FRIDAY 28 NOVEMBER 2025

Trainers with multiple runners in any one race were questioned in relation to their intended tactics.
RACE 1 – WAGIN WOOLORAMA RODEO 3YO PACE (2180MS)
GAMETIME (A Markham) - Inconvenienced in the back straight on the final occasion.
THE KHUKRI (J Suvaljko) - Jumped a contrasting-coloured section of the track and subsequently broke gait. A warning was placed against the gelding's racing manners.
RUN BOB RUN (A Suvaljko) - Inconvenienced in the back straight on the final occasion.
RACE 2 – HARVESTING RURAL SPIRIT PACE (2180MS)
TI SENTO (L Wallrodt) - Inclined to over-race for the majority of the event. Gave ground from the 400m to be beaten 77 metres. A warning was placed against the filly's racing manners.
BY GEE JINGO (B Edmans) - Trainer C Cummins sought and was granted permission to race with a shadow roll.
DOCTOR ROCK (C Wallrodt) - Gave ground from the 500m and subsequently raced roughly leaving the back straight on the final occasion to be beaten 102 metres. Will be stood down from racing for a period of 6 days and until such time as the completion of 1 satisfactory re-qualifying trial.
THE BETTOR SIDE (A Markham) - Broke the near side lugging pole in the score up causing a false start. The gear was subsequently inspected by the RWWA starter and found to be in good order.
RACE 3 – WAGIN AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY PACE (2180MS)
Driver A Markham (EASTON QUALITY) was fined $100 under HR168(1)(a) for driving in a careless manner when racing in the back straight on the final occasion he elected to shift outwards placing EASTON QUALITY in restricted racing room before becoming unbalanced and subsequently breaking gait.
MY GRAND ANGUS (L Kennelly) - Broke gait entering the front straight on the second occasion. Will be stood down from racing for a period of 6 days and until such time as the completion of 1 satisfactory re-qualifying trial.
SUNDANCER RAINBOW (A Hiltunen) - Checked and contacted the offside sulky wheel of VINTAGE BLU (D Kulcsar) entering the front straight on the second occasion. Stewards opened and adjourned an enquiry into Ms Hiltunen's whip use to be heard at Pinjarra 1 December 2025 with the RWWA Driving Coach in attendance.
VINTAGE BLU (D Kulcsar) - Checked and sustained a flat offside sulky tire entering the front straight on the second occasion.
RACE 4 – CELEBRATING 122 YEARS OF THE WAGIN AG SOCIETY SHOW PACE (2180MS)
SANDFORD HARRY (B Edmans) - Was a late scratching at 5.40pm due a float mishap which resulted in swelling to the near foreleg. Will be stood down from racing for a period of 7 days and until such time as a veterinary clearance is provided.
General: Driver A Suvaljko (RABBO RABBIT) was cautioned under HR162(1)(i) for failing to be in position by the time the candy pole was reached.
Driver L Harper (IM ROCKIN ROD) was cautioned under HR162(1)(i) for failing to be in position by the time the candy pole was reached.
RACE 5 – WAGIN WOOLORAMA CUP PACE (2180MS)
ALEXANDRA THEGREAT (C Peterson)- Stewards intend to question Driver C Peterson in relation to his tactics during the event with a time and date to be organised.
BETTERTHAN SECRET (C Wallrodt) - Raced roughly in both the score up and entering the front straight on the first occasion. A warning was placed against the mare's barrier manners.
RACE 6 – TABTOUCH PLACE A SAME RACE MULTI PACE (2180MS)
STRAUNYS SISTER (K Madden) - Fractious in the score up and was subsequently out of position as the start was effected. Will be placed outside the draw in future mobile barrier events. Stewards adjourned an inquiry into the reason STRAUNYS SISTER was removed from the course before the prescribed time.
RACE 7 – TABTOUCH BETTER YOUR BET PACE (2180MS)
No racing incidents to report.
