General: Driver A Suvaljko (CLASSNSMART) was interviewed in relation to his tactics during the middle stages after establishing a trialling position in the moving line, elected to shift outwards obligating the gelding to race in the 3 wide position for the remainder of the event. Mr Suvaljko put forward that he was of the opinion that PRIDDAH (G. Butler) would look to relinquish the position outside the leader however after shifting the gelding outwards it became apparent that this scenario would not eventuate and elected to hold his position rather than restrain for cover. Although accepting Mr Suvaljkos explanation, Stewards were of the opinion that a better option would have been to continue to race with cover until the latter stages of the event. Mr Suvaljko was referred to the RWWA Driving Master for further tutelage.
