Race 1 - THE OLE LOLLIE SHOP PETRIE MAIDEN PACE        1850M

GETAGRIP Briefly held up for clear running leaving the home turn behind Lustre.

LOCHINVAR BRUT Broke in the early stages of the score up and was out of position at the start. Connections were advised the Gelding will be drawn to the outside for future mobile starts.

STONES Inclined to hang in at various points throughout the race.

ALWAYSMISSINGYOU Shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages of the event.

MAIARA Raced wide over the early stages of the event before being restrained to a rearward trailing position. The filly was inclined to over race when racing with cover.

Race 2 – ANN MARIE HARRIOTT KITCHEN PACE       1850M

MOLLIDOR Unsuccessfully challenged for the position outside of the leader, obtained a trail from Mustang Dude leaving the 1800 metre point.

MUSTANG DUDE Raced wide over the early stages of the event and was successful in obtaining the position outside of the leader, commenced to over race without cover.

BEYONSKI Left a one out tailing position to obtain a trail on Dollarbill leaving the 1200 metre point.

DOLLARBILL Raced in a rearward trailing position and commenced to over race badly when trailing, commenced a three wide run without cover leaving the 1200 metre point of the event progressing forward to obtain a forward position. When unsuccessful was obliged to race three wide without cover for the remainder of the event.

Race 3 - JAMES, MADONNA & MANDY HARRIOTT PACE       1850M

WEDDING NIGHT Raced roughly leaving the first turn resulting in Crossed Legs who was trailing contacting the sulky and flattening the inside sulky tyre. Commenced to yield ground quickly leaving the 1600 metre point of the event tailing out and inconveniencing other runners who were trailing finishing in excess of 160 metres from the winner a post race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings on the Mare Connections were advised the Mare will be required to complete one satisfactory requalifying trial prior to resuming racing.

FLOORLESS Restrained at the start and completed the race with an off side broken hopple loop, the gear was inspected by stewards and found to be in good order and no further action was taken.

CRIME BOSS Restrained at the start and inconvenienced over the latter stages by the tiring Wedding Night.

CROSSED LEGS Inconvenienced nearing the 600 metre point by the tiring Wedding Night then failed to improve after gaining clear running finishing in excess of 160 metres from the winner, a post race veterinary inspection revealed no significant findings. Driver M.Neilson reported after being inconvenienced the Mare dropped the bit and was un competitive from that point. Connections were advised that the Mare will be placed on it’s last chance to race competitively.

Race 4 - GRAHAM HARRIOTT MEMORIAL TROTTERS DISCRETIONARY HANDICAP  2200M

VOLTAIN Fractious in the pre race circle and prior to the start of the event, Galloped out and lost considerable ground the Filly will continue to be drawn to the extreme outside for future mobile starts.

BUN IN THE OVEN NZ Broke free of interference leaving the 1800 metre point of the event tailing out. Connections were advised the Mare will be placed on it’s last chance to race truly.

MY RUMOUR HAS IT NZ Worked forward over the early stages of the event to the position outside of the leader before obtaining cover on Aldebaran Fonz NZ when Bun in the Oven NZ broke gait. Commenced to yield ground over the concluding stages Driver A. Richardson put forward he was not unhappy with the mares performance in todays event however when she commenced to overrace and he let the mare roll forward it was telling over the latter stages when she commenced to tire quickly.

ITSALLANDOVER Commenced to yield ground over the concluding stages of the event Driver L. Dwyer put forward that the 50 metre handicap in todays event may have placed the Gelding at somewhat of a disadvantage.

Race 5 – POETIC DEVICE PACE          1850M

GELDOF Raced wide over the early stages of the event before being restrained to a rearward trailing position.

THE TIGER ARMY Required a sulky change prior to the start of the event after sustaining a flat tyre in the preliminary.

JIMMY BLING Commenced a three wide run without cover leaving the 800 metre point of the event.

GOTTA GO TORQUE  Required a sulky change prior to the start of the event after sustaining a flat tyre in the preliminary. Placed back in the mobile draw after two successful consecutive mobile starts.

General

Driver J. Topping was reprimanded under AHR Rule 162(1)(h) for failing to maintain position at the start.

Race 6 - SEA SPRAY NOTCH NZ PACE           1850M

LORD DENZEL Yielded ground over the concluding stages of the event.

JANG PEL Caught wide over the early stages of the event before being restrained to a rearward trailing position. Severley checked and shifted abruptly wider when Deep Regret broke gait leaving the home turn contacting Trouper Jujon who was racing to the outside.

TROUPER JUJON Restrained at the start, severely checked and fell leaving the home turn when Jang Pel veered out abruptly to avoid the galloping Deep Regret. A post race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed sore off hind and abrasions to the face and will be stood down for a period of 14 days and a veterinary clearance of fitness prior to resuming racing. Driver A. Payne was inspected by the oncourse medical personnel and was stood down under the Racing Queensland Concussion Protocol.

STARS OF AMERICA Caught wide over the early stages of the event and was restrained to a rearward trailing position. Commenced a three wide run without cover leaving the 900 metre point.

DOOLITTLE DAYS Severely checked and broke gait when Trouper Jujon fell to it’s inside.

DEEP REGRET Broke gait leaving the home turn checking tailing runners and will be placed on it’s last chance to race truly. Placed back in the mobile draw after two successful consecutive mobile starts.

Race 7 – HARRIOTT FAMILY THANK YOU PACE        1850M

OCEAN LANE Led throughout, commenced to shift wider entering the back straight on the final occasion.

ROCKINTHECITY Pulled hard throughout the race and cast an off fore shoe in the run.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON Obtained an inside run entering the back straight on the final occasion was tightened for room and checked entering the home turn. Completed the race with a dropped knee boot.

General

Stewards inquired into an incident leaving the backstraight on the final occasion where My Ultimate Heston was placed in restricted racing room resulting in the Gelding contacting and going inside several marker pegs prior to being checked. After taking evidence from drivers M. Neilson and J. Pascoe it was established that entering the back straight and attempting to activate gear driver J.Pascoe allowed his horse to shift wider which allowed My Ultimate Heston who was trailing to improve forward then driver J. Pascoe directed his horse back down resulting in My Ultimate Heston being placed in restricted room and contacting a number of marker pegs prior to driver M. Neilson checking the gelding. Driver J. Pascoe pled guilty to a charge under AHR Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) and his license to driver in races was suspended for a period of 10 days commencing midnight 20/10/24. In determining penalty stewards considered the evidence tendered, stewards patrol footage and observations and driving record of J. Pascoe.

Race 8 - RQ SUPPORTS RACING INDUSTRY SAFETY PACE  1850M

FOXI FIVE Checked when Mister Delwyn broke gait on the first turn.

MISTER DELWIN Broke gait leaving the first turn and galloped for a considerable distance. Connections were advised the Gelding will be required to complete one satisfactory requalifying trial prior to resuming racing.

MUCHO GUAPA Yielded ground quickly leaving the 600 metre point of the event finishing in excess of 116 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed the Mare to of Tied-up. Connections were advised the Mare will be placed on it’s last chance to race competitively.

ROCKTIME Checked when Mister Delwin broke gait.

CAPTAIN FOXTROT Checked when Mister Delwin broke gait leaving the first turn, raced three wide without cover until obtaining the position outside of the leader near the 1200 metre point.
