Race 1: DOWNUNDER SULKIES MAIDEN PACE          1850M

BETTY WINKLE – Caught wide early and restrained to the rear of the field.

WHATA GOOD FEELING – Caught wide early and restrained to the rear of the field. Three (3) wide with a trail in the front straight to get the bell. Broke gait approaching the turn out of the back straight in the final lap. A last chance to race truly was placed against the filly. 

THE RIZZLER – Led up the three (3) wide line in the front straight to get the bell.

General:          The start of this event was delayed approximately three (3) minutes due to the lugging pole on Lookupintothesky becoming detached in the preliminary and requiring replacement.

Race 2: GOLDBET REWARDS PACE   1850M

TAKIDAH – Gave ground in the back straight in the second last lap to be beaten in excess of 120 metres. A post- race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Takidah will be required to trial to the satisfaction of the stewards before racing again.

MY ULTIMATE RUDI– led the one (1) wide line for the majority of the event. 

COULD IT BE ME – Out of position start and placed on last chance draw.

Race 3: MARBURG GOLD / LUKE MCCARTHY PACE  1850M

DOOLITTLE DAYS – raced roughly in restricted room approaching the turn into front straight in the run to the finish. 

GRACENAVA – Pulled hard in the score up.

JILLIBY PANDA – Broke score up losing all competitive chance. The gelding will be excluded from the mobile draw in future mobile events for a minimum of two (2) consecutive successful mobile starts.

General:          Stewards questioned driver Matt Elkings (Doolittle Days) regarding the reason he elected to remain in the one (1) out one (1) back positionentering the back straight in the final lap when Ghost Train commenced a three (3) run to Doolittle Days outside. Mr. Elkins explained that he was satisfied that Gracenava was travelling well leading the one (1) wide line was travelling well at that point and would take him into the race and that considering Doolittle Days form was below par leading into the event. Stewards noted that Doolittle Days raced roughly for a short distance entering the home straight when being placed in restricted room between Gracenava and Matai Reactor. Mr. Elkins was advised to exercise more care in future. The explanation in relation to driving tactics was noted.

Race 4: GOLDBET MULTI BET PACE              1850 M

VERMONT – Shifted in and contacted a marker peg on the turn into the back straight in the final lap.

OUR AUNTY PENNY – jibbed in score up and required lead up assistance in second score up and was well out of position start. The mare will be drawn wide in future mobile events for a minimum of two (2) consecutive successful starts.

HANOVER LECTER– Led the one (1) wide line for the majority of the event. Repelled a challenge for one (1) wide line in the middle stages of the event from Aqua Cruiser.

AQUA CRUISER – Raced wide in the back straight in the second lap however unsuccessful in challenge outside leader in back straight and obliged to race wide for the remainer of the event.

Race 5:            GOLDBET BEST RACING PRICES 0 TO 2 WINS APP            1850M

RAINBOW GAMBLER – Pulled hard in the score up. Raced roughly in the back straight in the final lap.          

STONES – Failed to obtain a clear run in the run to the finish and not fully tested.                                                 

                                                   

Race 6:            WALLOON HOTEL PACE                     1850M
 

ULTIMATE HUNTER – Shifted in approaching the turn out of the back straight resulting in contact to a marker peg.

OUTER CHANGE – Failed to gain clear running in the front straight in the run to the finish and not fully tested.

                       

Race 7:            REDMOND’S PRODUCE PACE            1850M

PINK RIVER DIAMOND- Had tendency to hang in for the majority of the event.

SAINT LOUIS BEAT – Caught wide early and restrained to the rear of the field.

SAMMYS SECRET – Held up for a clear run and not fully tested in the front straight in the run to the finish.

General:          The start of this race was delayed approximately two (2) minutes due to a Hong Kong thoroughbred race being delayed.

Race 8:            GOLDBET ON THE APP STORE PACE            2200M

                                                         

CULLECTINGCARDLES – Hung in on the turn out of the front straight after the start resulting in Krafty Candy being inconvenienced and One Last Roll being eased and contacting a marker peg.                     

ONE LAST ROLL – Inconvenienced on the first turn when Cullectingcardles hung in and tightened the ground of Krafty Candy resulting the gelding to be tightened over a marker post.              

KRAFTY CANDY– Tightened for ground on the turn out of the front straight after the start.                                                  

Race 9:            RACING HERE AUSTRALIA DAY JANUARY 26 PACE

BARRETT – Cast a near- side hind shoe during the run which may have placed the gelding at a disadvantage.

BRIAN CHRISTOPHER NZ – Raced wide in the early stages of the event before being caught wide and obliged to restrain to the rear of the field.

DANCIN WITH LUSH– Driver reprimanded shifting ground.

SHEREACTS – Inconvenienced approaching the finish when Dancing With Lush (Lola Weidemann) shifted ground. 

SPLASHNDASH - Held up for a clear run in the run to the finish

General:          Driver Lola Weidemann (Dancin With Lush) was reprimanded for being careless in the front straight in the run to the finish when tightening the ground of Shereacts. (AHRR 168(1)a).

Swabs samples taken for analysis.
