Race 1 - DENIS SMITH APPRECIATION PACE   1850M

Chang – Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader. Hung in at stages during the event. Tightened for room when under pressure on the turn out the back straight on the final occasion.

Cobbler Lane – Race wide over the final lap. Driver reprimanded tightening.

Mach Torque – Race wide with cover over the final lap.

General: Zac Chappenden (Cobbler Lane) was reprimanded for causing a tightening to Chang on the turn out of the back straight on the final occasion. (AHR 168(1)(a)).

Race 2  - CONGRATULATIONS MAJOR SLIP UP / TEAM KEATS MAIDEN PACE  1850M

The Square Dancer – Checked and broke on the first turn after the start when The Punter Rocks galloped. Raced greenly at stages during the event.

Sports Mode – Checked and broke on the first turn after the start when The Punter Rocks galloped.

Misty Ruler – Pulled hard in the score up. Inconvenienced on the first turn after the start when The Punter Rocks galloped.

Notta Louczar – Raced wide from the 1000m.

This Punter Rocks – Raced roughly during the score up. Galloped on the first turn after the start. The colt will be placed on its last chance to race truly.

Light Up Lovey – Raced wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Anythingforadollar – Inconvenience on the first turn after the start when The Punter Rocks galloped.

Fly Burra – Raced wide over the final 800 metres. After satisfying QRIC requirements the horse will be placed back in the draw in mobile events.
 

Race 3 - WELCOME TO THE NEW COMMITTEE PACE  1850M

Marksman – Broke gait in the early stages of the score up. Hung out after the start.

Old English – Lost momentum and raced roughly on the turn into the front staring on the final occasion. Driver was of the opinion the gelding shied at an object on the inside of the track

Melodys Mischief NZ – Raced wide with cover over the final 900m.

Jaydes Terror – Gave ground to be beaten in excess of 70 metres. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory and as a previous warning had been placed on the mare Jaydes Terror was declared ineligible until it trials satisfactorily.

Could It Be Me – Raced wide over the final 1000m.

Trouper Jujon – Tightened for room and contacted a marker post near the 800m.

Race 4 - GOLDBET WINNING POST PACE  1850M

Beyonski – Improved up onto the back of Convair Hustler near the 800m and shifted out.

Pablos Art – Gave ground badly to be beaten in excess of 120 metres. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactorily and declared the gelding ineligible until it trials satisfactorily.

Convair Hustler NZ – Driver fined for impeding.

Charlie Chuckles – Raced wide from the 1000. Impede in the front straight to receive the bell.

General: Hannah Anforth (Convair Hustler) was fined $200 for impeding the progress of Charlie Chuckles (Angus Garrard) when shifting Convair Hustler to a three-wide position near the 800m which obliged Charlie Chuckles to race wider before being restrained back to a three-wide trailing position. In determining the penalty Stewards noted the individual circumstances of the matter and the limited driving experience of Ms Anforth. (AHR 163(1)(b)(ii)).

Race 5 - GOLDBET AT MARBURG TROTS PACE  1850M

Jet Force – Hung out on the turn out of the front straight on the final occasion.

This Yankee Rocks – Gave ground badly over the final 600m to be beaten in excess of 125 metres. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactorily and declared the gelding ineligible until it trials satisfactorily.

Crime Time – Raced wide from the 800m. Inconvenienced and locked stays momentarily when Jet Force shifted out on the turn into the back straight on the final occasion.

Aqua Cruiser – Raced wide from the 800m.

Race 6 - GOLDBET MAJOR SPONSOR HANDICAP  2200M

General: A false start was declared on the first occasion after the barrier strand on the front line failed to release. The barrier strands were handheld for the next attempt to start. As a result of the false start no action was taken against any horse that failed to leave the mark cleanly.

Shakatie – Slow to begin. Checked after the start.

Western Action – Galloped at the start.

Altana Blue – Connections reviewed the patrol footage of finish of the event prior to all clear to ascertain if there were grounds to lodge a protest against the declared winner Kiss On The Beach regarding the run to the finish. However, after review of the footage a decision was made not to proceed with the matter.

One Last Roll – Shifted in and contacted a marker post on the home turn when under pressure.

Doolittle Doozzie – Galloped at the start.

Johnson Step NZ – Swung sideways at the start taking no competitive part in the race.

Yep Got Chooks – Galloped at the start.

Itzmineontheline – Raced wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Race 7 - HARNESS RACING AT GATTON AUGUST 25TH PACE  1850M

Ollie One Shot – Hung out in the score up. When leading inclined to hang out on the turns.

Milliewood – Inclined to lay in under pressure in the run to the finish.

Race 8 - CHRIS BARSBY / MOBILE ROLLING PACE   1850M

Gidup Captain - Raced roughly after the start and during the event.

Rocknroll Max NZ – Held up for a clear run to the finish.

Epic Orion – Raced wide over the final 800m.

Tralee Maxie – Held up for a clear run at a vital stage in the straight.

Yankee C J NZ – Broke gait after the start.  The gelding will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile events until Stewards are satisfied it can perform in the desired manner. Raced wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Royal Winkle – Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start taking no competitive part in the race. The gelding will be placed right out of the draw in future mobile events until Stewards are satisfied it can perform in the desired manner.

Jilliby Panda - Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. The gelding will continue to placed right out of the draw in mobile events.
