Race 1 - GOOD LUCK IN NZ LEAP TO FAME PACE     1850M

WEDDING NIGHT – Shifted in and contacted a marker post on the home turn.

MOLLIDOR – Overraced and pulled hard during the event.

JANG PEL – Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages.  Sustained a laceration to cheek (right side) in the raceday stalls postrace.  The injury was treated by the Veterinarian and acting on his advice Jang Pel was stood down for four (4) days.

Race 2 – MARBURG XMAS CUP HEATS DECEMBER 3RD PACE            1850Mkin bk

OLD ENGLISH – Caught wide in the early stages and after an unsuccessful challenge for the position outside of the leader was restrained to the rear of the field

MY ULTIMATE HESTON – Held up for a clear run at a vital stage in the straight.

Race 3 - MARBURG XMAS CUP FINAL DEC 8TH PACE           1850M

ROYAL PRINCESS – Hung in when racing wide rounding the turn out of the back straight on the final occasion.

ONE LAST ROLL – Was obliged to race outside of the leader after an unsuccessful challenge for the lead.

MY GIRL MANDY – Broke gait on the turn out of the back straight on the first occasion. Sustained a puncture to the off-side sulky tyre in the incident and as a consequence was retired from the event by its driver. The gelding will be placed on its last chance to race competitively.

Race 4 - BATTLERS BAR @ MARBURG PACE            1850M

PEEJAY MACK – Contacted marker posts on the first turn and again near the 300m when racing in restricted room.

MY SECRET BEACH – Shifted in and contacted a marker post near the 800m.

BALBOA SHANNON – Inclined to hang in when racing outside the leader.

JIMMY BLING – Raced wide over the final 700m.

TEACHERS PET – Shifted in and contacted a marker post near the 600m. Held up for a clear run to the finish.

Race 5 – NEW MIDWEEK MENU @ THE CANTEEN PACE       1850M

DOC HARVEY – Shifted in and contacted a marker post on the turn out of the front straight on the first occasion.

DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN – Raced roughly on the bends.

COULD IT BE ME – Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader. Raced roughly for a short distance when racing wide on the turn into the front straight on the first occasion.

RISKY BUZINESS – Overraced and pulled hard during the event.

Race 6 - MARBURG AGM TONIGHT AFTER THE LAST PACE 1850M

ZED EXPRESS – Shifted in and contacted a marker post rounding the home turn.

MY ULTIMATE RUDI – Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages.  Raced wide with cover over the final 700m.

COBBLER LANE – Broke gait in the early stages of the score up. Raced wide over the final 700m.

ROSEANNE RUBY – Having not started in a race since June 2024 and in accordance with QRIC guidelines, the mare was examined before and after the race by the veterinarian which revealed no apparent abnormalities. Pulled hard during the score up resulting in the mare racing roughly in the latter stages of the score up. Overraced and pulled hard during the event.

MELTON INSULTED – Raced wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Race 7 – CONGRATULATIONS BRENDAN BARNES 100 WINS PACE            2200M

ROYAL STUDLEIGH – Hung in rounding the first turn after the start resulting in the sulky wheel contacting marker posts. Hing legs contacted its own sulky wheels during the event. A warning was issued.

KNOCKAWARWON NZ – Held up for clear running rounding the home turn and in the incident received a puncture it the off-side sulky wheel.

GRUBSCREW NZ - Raced wide with cover from the 700 m.

ARTISTIC SAINT – Raced wide from the 700 m.

Race 8 - NOVEMBER MADNESS @ MARBURG PACE 1850M

LULU LUCIFER – Shifted in and contacted a marker post rounding the home turn.

KISS ON THE BEACH – Raced ungenerously at stages during the event.

SIR BOSTON – Raced wide over the final 700m.

STUDLEIGH MARK – Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages. Raced wide in the mid-stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.
