Race 1 - APG IPSWICH SALE FEBRUARY 9 MAIDEN PACE 1850M
MAIARA caught wide in early stages before progressing to lead the one (1) wide line in the front straight in the first lap.
SIRIUS MAXIMUS caught wide early before being restrained to the rear of the field. Hung in for the majority of the event on turns.
BETTY WINKLE finished the event with a dropped knee boot.
Race 2 – BIDFOODS @ RICHLANDS MAIDEN PACE 1850M
ALWAYSMISSINGYOU hung out approaching the turn into the front straight in the final lap. A warning was issued. Finished the event with an off-side knee boot dropped.
MAC WARRA which was having its first race start in excess of six (6) months underwent a pre-race veterinary examination prior to racing and passed fit to start.
ITS HYDROMATIC caught wide early before working forward to lead the one (1) wide line in the front straight in the first lap.
LUSTRE checked when Bold Personality hung out approaching the run to the finish.
MISTY RULER pulled hard in the score up.
BOLD PERSONALITY shifted out on the turn into the front straight resulting in Lustre (Nikki Chalk) being checked. A warning was issued.
Race 3 - MARBURG AGM NOVEMBER 12 PACE 1850M
WHOS TO BLAME which was having its first race start in excess of six (6) months underwent a pre-race veterinary examination prior to racing and passed fit to start.
JILLIBY PANDA broke in the score up and out of position start. The gelding will be drawn wide in future mobile events.
General: Driver Zac Chappenden (Shakatie) was reprimanded for being careless on the turn into the front straight in the first lap tightening the ground of Sarie Marais (Mathew Neilson) when crossing to lead the one (1) wide line. (AHRR 168(1)a)
Race 4 - DARLING DOWNS @ WARWICK NOVEMBER 10 PACE 1850M
THE CROM driver suspended causing interference.
CROSSED LEGS checked in the front straight with a lap remaining when Downtown Manhattan was checked.
DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN severe check in the front straight with one (1) lap remaining losing all competitive chance.
General: Driver Nathan Rothwell (The Crom) had his drivers licence suspended for 12 days for causing interference to Downtown Manhattan (Gary Litzow) for causing interference in the front straight in the run to get the bell lap. Stewards took into account the guilty plea of Mr. Rothwell. At Mr Rothwell’s request the commencement date will be at midnight on Saturday 10th November 2024.
Race 5 – THANK YOU COLLESS TRANSPORT PACE 1850M
STRUTTY A warning was placed against the gelding for not being in position as the start was affected.
STUDLEIGH DARCEY Raced wide on the turn into the back straight in the first lap before working forward to lead the one (1) wide line with approximately 1000 metres remaining.
Race 6 - GET WELL AMANDA PAYNE HANDICAP PACE 2200M
MISS PAU broke after the start and is placed on last chance draw.
ALTANA BLUE aged horse and in accordance with QRIC policy was inspected by the veterinary surgeon and passed fit to start.
KISS ON THE BEACH stood flat footed as the start was affected which resulted in Despondent (Layne Dwyer) being severely checked. A last chance draw was placed on the mare.
DESPONDENT severely checked at the start losing considerable ground when Kiss On The Beach stood flat footed.
MIDNIGHT CALM inconvenienced after the start when Kiss On The Beach stood flat footed.
Race 7 – CHRISTMAS CUP @ MARBURG DECEMBER 8 PACE 1850M
MY SECRET BEACH repelled a challenge in the first lap in the back straight before surrendering lead in the middle stages
HURRIKANE JEWELS gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten in excess of 72 metres. A last chance to race competitively was placed on the mare.
MAGICOL IDEAL NZ raced wide in the early stages to work forward to lead the one (1) wide line then progress to the lead in the back straight with a lap remaining.
Race 8 - GARY ROHL MEMORIAL PACE 1850M
TEACHERS PET in the score up and was out of position when the start was affected. Teachers Pet will be drawn wide in future mobile events.
DANIEL BOOM hung out in the score up losing some ground.
General: Driver Brendan Barnes (Teachers Pet) was reprimanded for contacting marker pegs on approaching the turn into the front straight in the final lap. (AHRR 163(1)(c)(ii).
