The start time of this event was amended to 5.01pm due to the abandonment of the Young harness meeting.

MARAKO SHARK – tired to be beaten 53m into eighth placing; warning issued.

Stewards delayed the all-clear to view the patrol films and ascertain whether FOXYONTHERUN had raced inside marker pegs prior to entering the sprint lane on the final occasion and whether the mare had gained ground and an advantage on other runners when doing so. Subsequent to submissions from driver Rodney Coelli (FOXONTHERUN), Stewards were satisfied that whilst racing inside the line of marker pegs prior to the entrance of the sprint lane, driver Rodney Coelli fulfilled his obligations in restraining his drive, therefore not gaining ground whilst racing inside same, and the all-clear was given on the judge’s numbers of 2 – 5 – 1 – 8.

RACE 4 – ALABAR TROT (1690 MS)

SHEZ MAJESTIC – raced roughly score-up. Galloped heading around the first turn. Hung in back straight final occasion.
