STEWARDS REPORT FOR SHEPPARTON

MEETING ABANDONED – Track Conditions
Stewards conducted a thorough inspection of the track as per normal race day procedure and noted significant rain effected areas on the racing surface, particularly with substantial surface water along the peg line.
Prior to the commencement of Race 1, a comprehensive track inspection involving senior drivers was conducted. After careful consideration of all available information, including the persistent challenges despite attempted corrections, the stewards abandoned the race meeting at 4.45pm due to the state of the racing surface.
‘This report and the Stewards Comments for this meeting may be amended at the sole discretion of the Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) Stewards as races are reviewed as per the ‘HRV Stewards Internal Review Process’.
