Race 1 –SET TO GO PACE      2040M

XPRESS PARTY Inconvenienced for a short distance after the start. Raced three wide over the early stages of the event working forward to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1600 metre point, obtained cover shortly after from PLATINUM JEWEL.

BETTERTHAN POPSY Restrained at the start to a rearward trailing position.

COMPETE Failed to circle in the pre-race preliminary circle and will continue to be drawn to the outside for future mobile starts.

WESTERN ARTERRA Broke gait for a short distance over the latter stages of the score up however was in position at the start of the event. Shifted in and contacted a marker peg leaving the home turn.

OBI ONE NZ Broke gait leaving the pre-race preliminary circle and continued to gallop for a considerable distance resulting in the Gelding being out of position at the start of the event and will now be drawn to the outside for future mobile starts.

PLATINUM JEWEL Left a one out trailing position working forward three wide without cover to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1500 metre point.

General

Driver C.Butler was reprimanded under AHR Rule 168(1)(a) for momentarily tightening the running of XPRESS PARTY shortly after the start.

Race 2 –PLAIN GAMBLE PACE           2040M

MAYWYNS KAREN Failed to circle in the pre-race preliminary circle. Raced in the position outside of the leader over the early stages of the event before obtaining a trail from MISSED CONSEQUENCES.

RIGHTYO Restrained at the start to a rearward trailing position. Commenced a three wide run without cover over the latter stages of the event.

MISSED CONSEQUENCES Raced three wide without cover over the early and middle stages of the event working forward to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1500 metre point.

OYSTER STRIDEPlaced back in the mobile barrier draw after two successful consecutive mobile starts.

Race 3 –COLONEL CLARRIE PACE     2040M

JUSTROLLINGAROUND Surrendered the lead over the early stages of the event when OUR DOLLY worked forward to obtain the position. Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

OUR DOLLY Worked forward to the lead nearing the 1600 metre point of the event then commenced to over race when leading without cover.

MILLIEWOOD Tightened entering the home turn for a short distance when EMMALEEN shifted wider.

AMILLIONCHANCES Broke gait at the start of the event and will now be drawn to the outside for future mobile starts. Checked and broke gait when MILLIEWOOD was taken wider by EMMALEEN.

General

Driver D.Belford fined the sum of $200 under AHR Rule 168(1)(a) when shifting wide to obtain clear running was careless and momentarily tightened MILLIEWOOD who in turn shifted wider slightly contacting the near side hind leg of AMILLIONCHANCES resulting in that Gelding breaking gait for a short distance

Race 4 –HAPPY 90TH BIRTHDAY RODNEY BELFORD PACE  1780M

JACKS FYRE Surrendered the lead over the early stages of the event. Inconvenienced nearing the 1400 metre point when the pace steadied. Utilized the sprint lane over the concluding stages of the event.

UNCLE CRAIGO Inconvenienced nearing the 1400 metre point when the pace steadied. Utilized the sprint lane over the concluding stages of the event.

PUNTERS JEWEL Worked forward to the lead over the early stages of the event.

ROCK IT BABY Inconvenienced nearing the 1400 metre point when the pace steadied

TIGER TOMMY NZ Inconvenienced nearing the 1400 metre point when the pace steadied

General

Driver M.Neilson was reprimanded under AHR Rule 162(1)(u) for abruptly reducing the speed when leading nearing the 1400 metre point of the event inconveniencing trailing runners.

Race 5 –SEAMEGO PACE        2040M

KERBANG Fractious leaving the pre-race circle for a short distance.

ALLMIGHTY MAX Restrained at the start to a rearward trailing position.

GLENLEDI BOY NZ Restrained at the start to a rearward trailing position.

HELL OF A HAND Held up for clear running leaving the home turn before utilizing the sprint lane.

Race 6 –STRAWBERRY FLYER PACE 1780M

LESVOS LAD Yielded ground over the concluding stages of the event.

Race 7 –INITIAL BRIGADE 1 WIN PACE          1780M

GOOD LOOKING JUJON Raced greenly at the start and was momentarily tightened when KEEPING IT SIMPLE hung in briefly.

KEEPING IT SIMPLE Hung in at the start for a short distance when being driven forward to obtain the lead.

SWIFTIE Held up for clear running leaving the home turn.

Race 8 –PACEFAST 2YO MAIDEN PACE         1780M

BOSTON FIRE Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

WILDSTAR DIVA Hung out entering the first turn resulting in the offside sulky tyre becoming flattened by AUNTY TINY who was racing to the outside. The Sulky tyre subsequently became fouled which placed the Filly at some what of a disadvantage over the latter stages of the event.

SERGENTMAJOR JUJON Raced ungenerously over the early stages of the event hanging out and contacting the near side sulky wheel of GLENEAGLE FIRE and breaking gait.

QILIN Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

Race 9 - OPAL CREED MAIDEN PACE 1780M

VEESIGN Placed back in the mobile draw after two successful consecutive mobile starts.

Swabs samples taken for analysis.
