Race 1 - MAZDA ASPLEY MAIDEN PACE        1780M

SHEMOZZLE led the one (1) wide line in the early stages before securing cover at1400 metres approximately.

LENNYS GIRL raced roughly during running.

NITE IRENE caught wide early before working forward to lead the one (1) wide line at approximately 1400 metres.

LOCHINVAR BRUTbroke gait in the score up and will continue out of the draw in future mobile events. Broke gait multiple times during running beaten in excess of 186 metres. The gelding will be required to trial to the satisfaction of the stewards before racing again. 

Race 2 – BURWOOD STUD 2YO MAIDEN PACE          1780M

SWEETEST VICTREE having its first race starts gave considerable ground over the final 400 metres to be beaten in excess of 95 metres. A last chance to race competitively was placed against the filly.

BOLD PERSONALITY caught wide for approximately 400 metres then restrained to the rear of the field.

Race 3 - REDCLIFFE YEARLING SALE NOMS CLOSE OCTOBER 31ST PACE   1780M

BLISSFULL IDENTITY commenced three (3) wide run from 800 metres. 

General:         

Driver Mathew Neilson (MISS PAU) was fined $200 for utilising the whip by more than a flicking motion in the run to the finish (AHRR 156(2)a)

Race 4 - STEVIE REDBACK PEST CONTROL PACE    1780M

DOOLITTLE DAZZLER gave ground over the final 400 metres to be beaten in excess of 33 metres.

Race 5 – GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND PACE           2040M

MODERN SHEEN was placed on a warning for shifting out in the front straight in the run to the finish.

HELL OF A HAND hung in approaching the turn into the front straight in the final lap.

HAZZA IS WATCHING over-raced during the event.

RAINBOWSEND over-raced during the event    

General:          A false start was declared when Kowhai Blaze NZ broke in the score up which resulted in Hazza Is Watching (Chloe Butler) and Hell Of A Hand (Layne Dwyer) being checked. The re-start was aborted when Hazza Is Watching (Chloe Butler) became intractable and Kowhai Blaze NZ was unable to fulfill is correctly allotted position. Kowhai Blaze NZ will be drawn wide in future mobile events. Stewards noted that Kowhai Blaze NZ, Hazza Is Watching and Rainbowsend all over-raced and due to the false start no further action was required. Stewards noted that Hell Of a Hand had a tendency to hang in approaching the turn into the front straight in the final lap.

Race 6 - LADBROKES RACING CLUB UP TO NR70 PACE       1780M

LARA TIARA held up slightly on the turn into the front straight before running on resolutely when clear in the run to the finish. 

LAURIE DEE held up for a clear run in the run to the finish. 

Race 7 – WOLF SIGNS PACE   1780M

SMOOTH OVERARM NZ hung in on the turn out of the front straight when caught wide in the first 5oo metres of the event.

General:

            The start of this event was delayed momentarily to allow  a replacement shoe to be affixed to the off-side foreleg of Bettys Gold Class (Adam Sanderson) due to being dislodge during the preliminary.

Driver Leonard Cain (Financially Stable) was reprimanded allowing the near side sulky wheel to make contact with a marker peg on the turn out of the front straight after the start. (AHRR 163(1)(c)(ii)).    

Race 8 - DARREN EBERT & CO PACE (SKY 2)            1780M

ONE CHAIN ROAD repelled an early challenge to hold the lead. Surrendered lead approaching the turn into the front straight with one (1) lap.

MISTER HART unsuccessful challenge for the lead in the early stages over-raced when leading the one (1) wide line during the event.

RIVER ROCK caught wide early before being restrained to the rear of the field\.

PUNTERS JEWEL raced wide from the 1400 metres to progress to the lead approaching the turn into the front straight with one (1) lap remaining.

General:           A false start was declared when Chakana (Ricky Gordon) fell in the score up approaching the despatch in the front straight. As a consequence, Torgue In Control (Chloe Butler) which was trailing fell dislodging its driver. Both these runners were declared late scratchings. The remaining runners were inspected by the course veterinary officer and passed fit to start. This race was re-scheduled to start at 6.38 pm. Both Chloe Butler and Ricky Gordon were inspected by ambulance officers.

                        Both Chakana and Torque In Control were inspected post-race and acting on the veterinary officers recommendations both horses were stood down for ten (10) days and a veterinary certificate of soundness will be required before racing again.
