Race 1 - STU VALENTINE FOR BLOODSTOCK INSURANCE PACE            1780M

The Weekend (Leonard Cain) Unable to obtain clear running over the concluding stages of the event.

The Sportz Star (Riley Butt) Hung in severely at the start despite the efforts of the driver. Connections were advised a last chance in the draw will be placed on the Gelding.

La Safron (Zac Chappenden) Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

Smooth Cash (Chloe Butler) Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

Race 2 – MAZDA ASPLEY PACE         2040M

Merge Right (Nathan Dawson) Left a one out trailing position leaving the 1600 metre point working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader then obtained cover from Dollarbill shortly after.

Lifeinheaven (Leonard Cain) Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

Little Change (Bree Evans) Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

Dollarbill (Angus Garrard) Left a one out trailing position with cover working forward to unsuccessfully challenging for the lead then raced in the position outside of the lead throughout.

Rosarito (Shane Graham) Back in the mobile draw after two successful consecutive mobile starts.

General

Driver N.Dawson was reprimanded under AHR162 www (b) for briefly hindering the running of Dollarbill leaving the 1600 Metre point when shifting wider to obtain a forward position.

Race 3 - TAB VENUE MODE PACE      1780M

Mystical Jazz (Brendan Barnes) Surrendered the lead over the early stages.

Vodka En Ice (Leonard Cain) Showed gate speed working forward to obtain the lead however was unsuccessful in repelling the challenge from Master Charles over the early stages racing with cover for the remainder.

Calvert Hot Shot (Zac Chappenden) Commenced a three wide run leaving the 600 metre point.

Master Charles (Nathan Dawson) Sowed early gate speed successfully challenging for the lead and led throughout.

Cheddar Made Beta NZ (Lola Weidemann) Commenced a three wide run with cover leaving the 600 metre point.

Race 4 - WOLF SIGNS PACE   1780M

Our Ruby Rose (Lachie Manzelmann) Broke at the start free of interference. Connections were advised the Mare will be placed out of the draw for future mobile starts.

High On Montana (Ricky Gordon) Accidently struck with the whip of another runner in the vicinity of the head over the concluding stages of the event resulting in the Gelding making contact with the rear of the sulky of Snuggles Banyula shying away and breaking gait.

Devouged (Brendan Barnes) Broke free of interference leaving the 500 metre point of the race. The Gelding will be placed on it’s last chance to race truly. V4

Race 5 – ELDERS WOODFORD PACE 1780M

Darby Brights (Lola Weidemann) Raced wide over the early stages of the event working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader.

Harry Croft (Lachie Manzelmann) Commenced a three wide run with cover leaving the 800 metre point.

Keayang Sponge Bob (Clint Sneddon) Placed back in the mobile draw after two consecutive successful mobile starts.

Three Machs (Leonard Cain) Shifted ground leaving the 600 metre point contacting a marker peg.

The Mach Army (Chloe Butler) Commenced a three wide run without cover leaving the 800 metre point.

Race 6 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND 1 WIN PACE  1780M

Blackjack Beth (Grant Dixon) Commenced to yield ground quickly leaving the 600 metre point of the race after leading throughout tailing out finishing in excess of 58 metres from the . A post race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the off fore fetlock. Connections were advised the Mare will be stood down for a period of 7 days and a veterinary certificate of clearance be furnished prior to resuming racing.

Iron Annie (Darren McCall) Inconvenienced behind the tiring Blackjack Beth.

Shesherz (Zac Chappenden) Broke free of interference leaving the first turn. Connections were advised the Mare will be placed on it’s last chance to race truly.

Pushinit Uphill (Shane Graham) Contacted a marker peg leaving the 500 metre point.

General

Driver Shane Graham was reprimanded under AHR163 (1)(c) for contacting a marker peg while leading.

Race 7 – DRIVER OF THE NIGHT NATHAN DAWSON PACE    1780M

Ima Chick Magnet (Brendan Barnes) Commenced to yield ground leaving the 500 metre point of the race finishing in last position in excess of 100 metres from the winner. A post race veterinary examination revealed Atrial Fibrillation. The mare will be required to complete 14days complete respite, provide a veterinary clearance of fitness the results of an electrocardiogram and complete one satisfactory requalifying trial prior to resuming racing.

Hear The Call NZ (Chloe Butler) Momentarily tightened for room rounding the hometurn when placed in restricted room by Matai Reactor who was hanging in.

Man Of Action NZ (Clint Sneddon) Inconvenienced by the tiring Ima Chick Magnet.

Rocco Variety (Lola Weidemann) Caught wide over the early stages before being restrained to a rearward trailing position. Inconvenienced by the tiring Ima Chick Magnet.

Matai Reactor (Jonah Hutchinson) Inclined to hang in rounding the hometurn.

Race 8 - NORTHGATE COMFORT INN PACE   2040M

Circle Line (Zac Chappenden) Broke free of interference at the start. Connections were advised the Gelding will be placed out of the draw for future mobile starts.

Just One Good One NZ (Nathan Dawson) Caught wide over the early stages before being restrained to a rearward trailing position. Commenced a three wide run leaving the 800 metre point.

Major Tralee (Matt Elkins) Severely checked at the start and broke gait when Circle Line broke gait.

Race 9 - MEMBERS DRAW WINNER GLENN GREAVES MAIDEN PACE            1780M

Always Be A Torque (Shane Graham) Broke free of interference leaving the 500 metre point. The Filly will be placed on it’s last chance to race truly.

Bokhari (Dale Larpent) Placed in restricted racing room entering the first turn resulting in the Filly breaking gait.

Spice Boy (Lola Weidemann) Inclined to hang out in the score up and was out of position at the candypole a warning was placed on the Horse. The Horse was inclined to then race greenly and hang out throughout the run. Hung out and locked wheels with Exwhygeetee leaving the 500 metre point of the race.

Exwhygeetee (Edd Bailey) Hung in leaving the 500 metre point locking wheels with Spice Boy.

General

Stewards inquired into an incident entering the first turn where Bokhari was placed in restricted racing room and broke gait. After taking evidence from drivers D.Lapent and E.Bailey It was established that no blame could soley be laid on any one driver and that the position was being contested by both drivers simultaneously and as a result Bokhari (D.Lapent) was placed in restricted room to the inside and broke gait. Exwhygeetee (E.Bailey) who was racing to the outside was unable to relieve the restricted room as Always Be A Torque (S.Graham) was racing to the outside of Exwhygeetee was racing tight to it’s outside.

Race 10 - BURWOOD STUD 2YO MAIDEN PACE         1780M

Heavens Baby (Lachie Manzelmann) Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

Burton (Darrel Graham) Raced wide over the early stages working forward to the position outside of the leader. Inclined to over race when trailing Potter throughout the race.

Potter (Angus Garrard) Raced wide over the early and middle stages working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Cross Walk (Mathew Neilson) Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

English Dance (Grant Dixon) Commenced a three wide run with cover leaving the 700metre point.

My Girl Mandy (Leonard Cain) Commenced a three wide run leaving the 700 metre point.
