Race 1 - POWER UP LAWN MOWERS PACE 1780M
PERFECT TREND – hung out after the start and contacted the near side foreleg of Jessejames Shannon which was racing to its outside. As a result, Perfect Trend carried a flat tyre for the entire race which placed the mare at a distinct disadvantage. A warning was issued to the connections of Perfect Trend regarding the mare shifting out.
JESSEJAMES SHANNON – contacted the off side sulky wheel of Perfect Trend shortly after the start when that mare hung out. Inclined to hang in under pressure when racing wide on the final turn.
Race 2 – PERFECTLY PULSED THERAPY PACE 2040M
OYSTER STRIDE – raced roughly under pressure in the run to the finish. After considering previous behaviour in this regard, connections were advised the gelding will be placed on its last chance to race truly.
ILLBEWATCHING – momentarily inconvenienced in the run to the finish when Oyster Stride raced roughly to its outside.
Race 3 - LADBROKES BLACKBOOK PACE 1780M
DONT FEAR FOR ME – caught wide in the early stages before working forward to gain the position outside the leader.
TACKAS LAST DANCE – hung out at the start and momentarily locked sulky wheels with Highview Sadler NZ which hung in.
HIGHVIEW SADLER NZ – hung in at the start and locked sulky wheels momentarily with Tackas Last dance which hung out.
Race 4 - DRIVER OF THE NIGHT - NATHAN DAWSON PACE 1780M
QUEENSLANDER - exerted to hold the lead on the first turn recording a 27.7 first sectional. Under pressure from the 500 metres and weakened in the concluding stages to finish in last position beaten 47 metres. Driver Layne Dwyer was disappointed with the performance and stated the driving instructions were to lead and take advantage of the inside draw. Stewards directed a veterinary examination be carried out on the gelding which revealed no significant findings.
LAST CALL – inconvenienced from the 500 metres when trailing the tiring Queenslander.
Race 5 – GARRARDS HERE ON TRACK PACE 2040M
ROSARITO – tired in the concluding stages after racing without cover for the majority of the race.
BOKHARI – slightly back from its allotted position at the start. Bokhari will require one more successful start before being considered to go back in the mobile draw.
Race 6 - MEMBERS DRAW WINNER - ALAN LITSCHNER MAIDEN PACE 1780M
ALWAYSMISSINGYOU – inclined to hang out under pressure on the final turn and on entrance to the home straight. A warning was issued.
BERNICES LOVE – broke gait free of interference at the 1600 metres and lost valuable ground. After considering a good record in this regard, connections were advised the filly will be placed on its last chance to race truly.
THREEOEIGHT – hung in on the first turn and contacted two marker pegs. A warning was issued.
Race 7 – ELDERS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT 1 WIN PACE 1780M
JUSTCALLMENITRO – hung in and contacted a marker peg on entrance to the back straight on the first occasion.
MONTANA ONE – hung in under pressure and contacted a marker peg at the 500 metres.
NORTEE NASH – raced roughly during the latter stages of the score up.
HAPPY AS CAN BE- inclined to race greenly and hang out at various stages.
Race 8 - COMFORT INN & SUITES NORTHGATE PACE 2040M
WONDERWOMAN JUJON – jibbed in the score up and caused interference to horses on the second line resulting in a false start being declared. Jibbed again during the second attempt of a start causing interference to Ghost Train and dislodging driver Nathan Rothwell from the sulky. Wonderwoman Jujon was declared a late scratching at 9.04pm by order of Stewards. The mare will be barred from competing in mobile races until a satisfactory mobile trial is performed. Wonderwoman Jujon will be excluded from the mobile draw in future mobile racing.
General
Nathan Rothwell was dislodged lightly from his sulky during the second score up and was passed fit to complete his drive.
