Supplementary Report:           Stewards declared that mudguards and splash sheets are to be added for all races in view of the prevailing conditions.

Race 1 - DAN COSTELLO PHOTOGRAPHY MAIDEN PACE  1780M

Rons Reaction (Lachie Manzelmann) Broke gait losing considerable ground on the turn out of the front straight in the first lap. A last chance to race truly was placed on the gelding.

Bettors Moon (David Druitt) Gate speed to lead.

Filly Thirteen (Narissa McMullen) Checked by driver when Rons Reaction (L. Manzelmann) broke and ran out on the turn out of the front straight in the first lap.

Charlie My Boy (Nathan Dawson) Severely checked when Rons Reaction broke on the turn out of the front straight after the start

Tell Me This NZ (Angus Garrard) Broke gait losing ground in the run to the finish. A last chance to race truly was placed on the gelding.

Cee Sixty Three (John Ballin) Continue out of the draw due to being out of position when the start was effected.

Rainbow Classic (Taleah McMullen) Raced roughly throughout and hung out on the turn out of the back straight and again on the home turn in the final lap. Rainbow Classic further raced greenly in the front straight in the run to the finish. A warning was issued.

Bears Best (Pete McMullen) Severely checked when Rons Classic broke on the turn out of the front straight in the first lap.

General:          A pre – race veterinary examination was conducted on Bears Best which was backing up from racing on Wednesday, 20th July 2022. Bears Best was passed fit to start. An announcement to this effect was broadcast.

Race 2 - NORTH LAKES SIGNS PACE  1780M

Nolonga Your Choice NZ (Melissa Kendall) Gave ground over the concluding stages.

The Crom (Angus Garrard) Restrained to rear at start then led the three (3) wide line from the bell lap.

Ima Calvert Rose (Tr) (Zac Chappenden) Broke gait whilst being restrained by its driver on the turn out of the front straight after the start.

Mister Decorum (Lachie Manzelmann) Gate speed worked forward then led.

Mygeorgie (Matt Crone) Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 81.4 metres. A last chance to race competitively was placed on the mare.

General:          The all clear was held up due to driver D. Larpent (Sonny Orlando NZ) advising the stewards that he wished to view the photo finish. Mr Larpent was satisfied with the result and the judges placings confirmed.

Race 3 - HUSTLER RAPTOR PACE  1780M

Ima Chick Magnet (Pete McMullen) Gate speed to lead then yielded ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 116 metres. A post race veterinary examination failed to detect any abnormalities. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory and the gelding was stood down until a satisfactory trial is performed.

Trioli (Matt Crone) Gate speed, unsuccessful challenge for lead. Hung in on the turn into the front straight in the run to the finish.

Monterey Jack NZ (David McKenzie) Caught wide early before working forward to lead the outside line.

Sarie Marais (Nathan Dawson) Broke gait when the pace in the running line reduced as Swinging George (Edd Bailey) was shifting into the running line. Stewards noted the circumstances and no action was taken against Sarie Marais.

Rollonx (Angus Garrard) Inconvenienced when the tiring Ima Chick Magnet was yielding ground on the turn out of the back straight in the final lap.

Swinging George (Edd Bailey) Locked sulky wheels when contesting a three (3) wide position on the turn out of the back straight in the final lap.

Call Me Trish (Brendan Barnes) Locked sulky wheels on the turn out of the back straight in the final lap when contesting a three (3) wide position with Swinging George. Call Me Trish was tightened for room on the turn into the front straight in the run to the finish when Trioli (M. Crone) hung in under pressure.

Race 4 - PELICAN WATERS RESORT PACE  1780M

Chasin Dreamz (Angus Garrard) Gate speed to lead.

Crafty Match (David Druitt) Led outside line before yielding ground over the concluding stages.

Zacharooni (Will Rixon) Broke gait as the start was affected and will be drawn wide in future mobile events.

The Casual Goose (Pete McMullen) Caught wide early then restrained to rear.

Joey Lincoln NZ (Brendan Barnes) Used the sprint lane.

Shesa Pocketrocket (Leonard Cain) Led up the three (3) wide line at bell.

General:          Trainer Rickie Alchin (Zacharooni) was fined $100 for failing to submit a gear sheet within the required frame within AHRR 268A(1).

Race 5 - AQWA CONSTRUCTIONS PACE  1780M

Living Free (Angus Garrard) Gate speed to lead.

Wild About Town (Nathan Dawson) Worked forward outside leader and gave ground over the concluding stages.

Non Passare (Pete McMullen) Gate speed then obtained trail early. Three (3) wide late.

Doolittle Dexter (Brendan Barnes) Caught wide early then restrained to a position.

General:          Stewards enquired into the performance of Wild About Town which was beaten for early speed then worked forward to occupy the position outside the leader at approximately 1500 metres remaining. Wild About Town had a tendency to hang in whilst working forward to lead the outside line before yielding ground in the back straight to be beaten 47 metres. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Connections advised the prevailing conditions may of contributed to performance but were at a loss to further explain. Stewards advised connections that the expectation was that the horse would race in a consistent manner. The connections were advised that Wild About Town was placed on its last chance to race truly and a repetition would result in the horse being required to trial. Stewards advised the connections should anything arise in the next few days to further explaining the performance to notify.

Race 6 - KNUSDEN'S BETTA HOME LIVING PACE  1780M

Uhura (Angus Garrard) Gate speed to lead.

Rock It Baby (Darren McCall) Restrained at start to a rearward one (1) wide line.

Precious Cullen NZ (Chloe Butler) Unsuccessful challenge for lead the obtained a trailling position at approximately the 1400 metres.

One Last Roll (Narissa McMullen) Caught wide early then worked forward to lead the outside line.

Baileys With Legs (Lachie Manzelmann) Used sprint lane.

Luxury Lad (Brendan Barnes) Used sprint lane.

Studleigh Mark (Taleah McMullen) Hung in when endeavouring to improve its position in the front straight in the run to the finish.

Race 7 - POWER UP LAWN MOWERS PACE  2040M

Ideal Tiger NZ (Chloe Butler) Gate speed to lead then surrendered lead mid race.

Whostolemypigeon (Ben Battle) Caught wide early worked forward to lead outside line.

American Flyer NZ (Brendan Barnes) Raced wide mid race to work to the lead.

Jilliby Jackpot (Angus Garrard) Restrained after start then restrained to rear.

Sailalong Sinbad (Narissa McMullen) Led up three (3) wide line at the bell.

Hey Mister Taylor (Lachie Manzelmann) Three (3) wide with a trail at bell.

Race 8 - TAB LIVE SKY RACING VISION PACE  1780M

Im Jimmy James NZ (Chloe Butler) Beaten for speed.

Brian Christopher NZ (Brendan Barnes) Gate speed worked forward to lead.

The Hervey Bay (Pete McMullen) Broke in score up on third occasion due to two false starts being declare no further action was taken

General:          Raani was declared a late scratching after galloping twice in the score up. Raani will be required to complete a satisfactory mobile trail and will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile events. As a consequence the start of this event was run approximately 7 minutes late.

Race 9 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND PACE  1780M

Golden Lace NZ (Nathan Dawson) Gate speed obtained trail early. Used sprint lane.

Melton Insulted (Taleah McMullen) Gate speed to lead, contacted marker peg on the turn into the front straight in the run to the finish.

Dollarbill (Angus Garrard) Restrained at start.

Polka Dot Dance NZ (Will Rixon) Used sprint lane.

General:          Trainer Darrel Graham (Golden Lace NZ) was fined $100 for failing to submit a gear sheet within the correct time frame (AHRR 268A(1))
