Race 1 –STU VALENTINE FOR BLOODSTOCK INSURANCE PACE (SKY 2)         1780M

SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE NZ – Caught wide in the early stages before working to a position outside the leader in the side straight in the first lap.

PERFECT FEELING – Inconvenienced approaching the turn out of the back straight on the first occasion when the tempo reduced.

IMPERIOUS – Restrained to rear at start. Inconvenienced approaching the turn out of the back straight on the first occasion when the tempo reduced.

Race 2 –LADBROKES RACING EXTRAS IN MULTI PACE        1780M

WESTERN ARTERRA – Gate speed to lead before surrendering that position when challenged by Platinum Jewel.

COMPETE – Broke gait at the start losing considerable ground. The gelding is excluded from the mobile draw for a minimum of two (2) consecutive successful starts.

BETTERTHAN POPSY – Left a rearward trailing position approaching the turn into the front straight with a lap remaining to lead the one (1) wide line after the winning post short of a lap remaining.

PLATINUM JEWEL – Raced wide early in the back straight from the tail of the field to lead the event in the side straight in the first lap.

Race 3 –GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND PACE            2040M

NAUTIE GALVINATOR– Hung in at the start before being restrained to the rear of the field. 

BUBBA NAY – Broke gait after the start was affected and will be excluded from the draw in future mobile start events for a minimum of two (2) consecutive successful starts.

Race 4 – DRIVER OF THE NIGHT - GARY BOND PACE           1780M

PUNTERS JEWEL – Shifted out under pressure in the run to the finish.

PRETTY LITTLE LIAR – Raced three (3) wide in the front straight prior to the bell.

Race 5 –REDCLIFFE YEARLING SALE NOMS EXTENDED TO NOVEMBER 30 PACE  2040M

No racing incidents.

Race 6 –MEMBERS DRAW WINNER - JOHN DOPPER PACE   1780M

SINGER SNAP – Gave ground from 600 metres to be beaten in excess of 46 metres.

JILLIBY TSUNAMI – Tended to hang out on the turn into the front straight in the first lap when leading.

MALIBU DREAM- Over-raced when leading the one (1) wide line throughout.

Race 7 –DAN COSTELLO PHOTOGRAPHY 1 WIN PACE         2040M

ICANANDIWILL – Tightened for room on the turn into the front straight in the final lap when Rosie’s Boy shifted in.

ROSIES BOY– Shifted in on the turn into the front straight resulting in Icanandiwill shifting in and contacting a marker peg.

Race 8 –BURWOOD STUD MAIDEN PACE       1780M

KEAYANG AVA– Gave ground over the final 500 metres to be beaten in excess of 60 metres. The mare will be required to trial to the satisfaction of the stewards before racing again. 

General:          Driver Grant Dixon (Robin Jujon) was fined $100 for when leading in the first half of the last mile ran 66.0 seconds which exceeds the permitted time of 65.0 seconds. In accordance with the guidelines Mr. Dixon was fined $100. (AHRR 162(1)y).

Race 9 - STEVIE REDBACK PEST CONTROL MAIDEN PACE  1780M

General:          Stewards queried driver Nathan Dawson (Aunty Tiny $1.20 fav.) regarding the seemingly disappointing performance of the filly tonight when leading comfortably in relatively slow sectionals of 30.8 and 31.3 for the first half of the last mile before being beaten into 4th place beaten 6.5 metres. Mr. Dawson could offer tangible reason and was disappointed with the performance. Trainer Chris Frisby advised that he was disappointed with the performance and had no tangible reason for the performance. A veterinary inspection revealed a slow post-race recovery. Stewards advised Mr. Frisby to monitor the condition of the filly and if anything came to light in the ensuing days to advise the stewards. Stewards noted the explanations.
