Race 1 –LADBROKES QUICK MULTI PACE 2040M
ROLLING BONUS - Led the race throughout and gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 44m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow post-race recovery.
SO MANY MOMENTS – Locked stays for a short distance in the back straight on the final lap.
SUBTLE DELIGHT – Locked stays for a short distance in the back straight on the final lap.
IGNITE THE FIRE – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to of bled from the offside nostril. Connections were advised that Ignite the Fire was stood down pending a satisfactory steward’s trial.
DOCTA FEELGOOD - Commenced a three wide move around the 1500m working forward to race outside the leader around the 1200m.
Race 2 –GARRARDS HERE ON TRACK PACE 1780M
MISS FROUFROU - Hung in and contacted several marker pegs on the final corner and a warning was issued to connections
ALLMIGHTY MAX - Hung out slightly in the score up. Hung in and contacted several marker pegs on the final corner and a warning was issued to connections.
Race 3 –PELICAN WATERS RESORT PACE 1780M
LETS GO BAILEY – Reinstated back in the barrier draw for races conducted under mobile start conditions after satisfying QRIC requirements with two successful consecutive mobile starts.
BAIL DENIED - Had a tendency to over race when racing on the marker line
Race 4 – ELDERS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT PACE 2040M
WHYKIKAMOOCOW - Raced wide in the early stages and broke free of interference. Given the horse’s previous record in the regard the gelding will be placed on its last chance to race truly. Worked forward to race in the position outside the leader around the 1600m.
BURNS BAY – Raced roughly when racing in restricted room on the final corner.
GET ME OUTTA HERE - Had a tendency to hang in in the score up and after the start. Hung in at various stages throughout the race.
Race 5 –MAZDA ASPLEY PACE 1780M
SHEMOZZLE - Tightened entering the back straight on the first occasion.
MY ULTIMATE HESTON - Driver reprimanded AHR Rule 163(1)(d)
SOMEONES WATCHING - Caught wide in the early stages before restraining to the rear of the field around the 1200m. Locked stays with Lets Get Shorty in the back straight on the first occasion.
LETS GET SHORTY – Locked stays with Someones Watching in the back straight on the first occasion.
General
Driver Ricky Gordon (My Ultimate Heston) was reprimanded under AHR Rule 163(1)(d) for tightening and directly causing Shemozzle (Rod Wingrave) to shift inside a marker peg turning into the back straight on the first occasion. AHR Rule 163(1)(d)
Race 6 –COMFORT INN & SUITES NORTHGATE PACE 2040M
SAYCHELLES - Tightened and contacted marker pegs on the final corner
CANDYKANE - Broke the second carrying strap in the race. The gear was inspected to be found in satisfactory condition.
GRACENAVA - Failed to take part in the pre-race circle. Hung in on the final corner.
MULLUM DOC - Failed to take part in the pre-race circle. Was out of position at the candy pole. Driver reprimanded. Commenced a three wide move around the 1200m and was caught wide and restrained to the rear of the field around the 800m. Mullum Doc lost touch with the field over the concluding stages. Driver Matt Crone reported to stewards that he had steering issues and Mullum Doc failed to respond to the outside rein. Connections were advised to take corrective measures to prevent a reoccurrence
General
Driver Matt Crone (Mullum Doc) was reprimanded for being out of position at the candy pole. AHR Rule 162(1)(i)
Race 7 –POWER UP LAWN MOWERS - HUSTLER SUPER X PACE 1780M
TAKE COURAGE -Withstood a challenge for the lead from Icanandiwill until the 1300m.
BEYONSKI - Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 63.6m. Connections were advised the overall performance of Beyonski was below the standard required and subsequently placed on its last chance to race competitively.
ICANANDIWILL - Had an unsuccessful challenge for the lead until the 1300m. Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 49.6m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Driver queried tactics
FANCY LIKE BARBIE - Broke in the early stages of the score up but was able to fill its position in time
General
Stewards questioned drive Zac Chappenden (Icanandiwill) regarding the tactics adopted in the early stages of the race. After begging well from barrier 4, Mr Chappenden challenged for the lead until approaching the 1300m and raced in the position outside the leader running the first quarter in 28.3. Icanandiwill gave ground to be beaten 49.6m and finished in 5th position. Mr Chappended explained that Icanandiwill fired up after being exerted and failed to run on as expected and may have not backed up from its run from Tuesday. Stewards after considering the matter felt Mr Chappenden had erred by applying early pressure but could not be satisfied to the requisite standard that the drive was culpable under the rules and noted the explanation provided. Trainer Lacey Hinze was advised to report to stewards if anything comes of note in the coming days.
Race 8 –LADBROKES BET TICKER PACE 1780M
MY ULTIMATE LOUIE - Shifted wider around the 350m and sustained an offside flat tyre around the 300m.
SPORTY AZZ - Caught wide in the early stages of the race before restraining to the rear of the field around the 1500m. Had a tendency to over race in the run.
SAMMYS SECRET – Commenced a three wide move around the 1200m, working forward to race outside the leader around the 1000m
MISTER HART – Contacted the offside sulky whee of My Ultimate Louie. No action was taken due to the movement of My Ultimate Louie.
Race 9 - STU VALENTINE FOR BLOODSTOCK INSURANCE MAIDEN PACE 1780M
BETTY WINKLE – Having not started in a race since 30th March 2025 and in accordance with QRIC guidelines the mare was examined before and after the race by the veterinarian which revealed no apparent abnormalities. Hung in on the final corner.
TINTIN IN LOGAN - Driver reprimanded.
IM A RED HOT FOX – Had a tendency to over race in the run. Broke on the final corner. Given the horse’s previous record in the regard the gelding will be placed on its last chance to race truly. Placed in restricted racing room on the final corner. Driver fined.
MACMUFF - Had a tendency to hang out and race greenly in the early stages of the race. Had a tendency to over race in the run.
General
Driver Layne Dwyer (Tintin In Logan) was reprimanded for being late on the track. AHR Rule 135(2)
Driver Matt Crone (Im A Red Hot Fox) was fined $200 for using the whip in an unapproved manner. AHR Rule 156(2)(a)
