Supplementary Report:

On review of  Race 2 from Albion Park 14/06/2022 - SKY RACING TROTTERS RATING HANDICAP it was established that Horse 11 THE REAPER (Clint Sneddon) Started from the wrong  barrier position. Subsequently Driver Clint Sneddon was charged and found guilty pursuant to AHRR 162(1)(g) Mr Sneddon was fined $200, further under the provisions of AHRR 174(1) THE REAPER was disqualified from the race and the placings were amended.

The Starter / Assistant Starter were questioned regarding this matter and were counselled appropriately. Measures were taken to ensure strategies were put in place to prevent a reoccurrence. 

Race 1 - DAN COSTELLO PHOTOGRAPHY CLAIMING PACE  1780M

The start of this race was delayed by approximately 10 minutes when the Ambulance was delayed on route to the racecourse.

Dikerry NZ (Taleah McMullen) Shifted ground entering the homestraight making contact with Arthur Lowe NZ.

Arthur Lowe NZ (Narissa McMullen) Contacted the sulky of Dikerry NZ entering the home straight racing roughly for a short distance.

General

Driver Taleah McMullen was fined the sum of $200 under AHR 168 (1)(a) for driving in a careless manner when attempting to shift wider on the track to obtain clear running entering the home straight. Making contact with the extended front legs of Arthur Lowe NZ who was racing to the outside resulting in that horse becoming rough for a short distance.

Race 2 – WOOLLAM CONSTRUCTIONS PACE            1780M

Champagne Reactor (Zac Chappenden) Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

Whata Reactor (Justin Elkins) Unable to secure clear running over the concluding stages of the event.

Our Eduardo Denario NZ (Leonard Cain) Broke in the early stages of the score up and was out of position at the start. The gelding will now be placed out of the mobile draw for future mobile starts.

Race 3 - GARRARDS HERE ON TRACK UP TO NR50 3YO PACE            1780M

Harry Kane NZ (Hayden Barnes) Became unbalanced and broke gait when racing in restricted room leaving the home turn.

Ima Chick Magnet (Pete McMullen) Withstood an early challenge for the lead over the early stages of the event.

Zacharooni (Will Rixon) Unsuccessfully challenged for the lead over the early stages, then restraining into a trailing position behind the leader. Inconvenienced over the latter stages by the tiring Ima Chick Magnet.

General

Stewards inquired into an apparent incident leaving the home turn and entering the front straight where Harry Kane NZ became unbalanced broke gait and blundered. After taking evidence from drivers Shane Graham (Uhura) and Hayden Barnes (Harry Kane NZ) it was established that as Driver Hayden Barnes attempted to shift wider in an effort to obtain clear running to the finish his horse became unbalanced blundered and broke gait for a short distance. Stewards were not comfortably satisfied that any blame could be attributed to the shift of either driver and are noting the incident as a racing incident.

Race 4 - STU VALENTINE FOR BLOODSTOCK INSURANCE PACE            2040M

No Racing Incidents

Race 5 – KNUSDEN'S BETTA HOME LIVING PACE     1780M

Just One Good One NZ (Lachie Manzelmann) Led over the early stages of the event before yielding ground over the concluding stages of the event finishing in last position 42 metres from the winner. A post race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings and connections could tender no explanation for the horses performance today other than they were disappointed with todays performance and will inform stewards if anything comes to light with the horse over the coming days.

Mister Decorum (Pete McMullen) Raced wide over the middle stages of the event working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Race 6 - STEVIE REDBACK PEST CONTROL PACE    2040M

Devouged (Trent Moffat) Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

Studleigh Mark (Taleah McMullen) Raced wide over the early stages of the event working forward to the position outside of the leader. The Gelding was then inclined to over race when racing in the position outside the leader.

Race 7 – REDCLIFFE LEAGUES CLUB PACE  1780M

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (Julie Weidemann) Checked shortly after the start when the pace slackened.

POLKA DOT DANCE NZ (Will Rixon) Left a one out trailing position working three wide leaving the 800 metre point of the race.

HIGH ON MONTANA (Lachie Manzelmann) Raced wide over the early stages working forward to the position outside of the leader.

AYE AYE CAPTAIN (Shane Graham) Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish. Inclined to hang out under pressure over the concluding stages of the event.

Race 8 - POWER UP LAWN MOWERS PACE   2040M

HEADWIN (Zac Chappenden) Inclined to hang out in the score up.

IDEAL TIGER NZ (Chloe Butler) Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

SUZUKEE (Taleah McMullen) Slow to score up after jibbing at the start then was out of position at the start. Connections were advised the Mare will be placed out of the draw for future mobile starts.

ALTANA BLUE (Dannielle Veivers) Raced wide over the middle stages of the event working forward to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1200 metre point.

Race 9 - GRAND PRIX MAZDA ASPLEY PACE            2040M

Shadow Minister NZ (Zac Chappenden) Raced wide over the early stages working forward to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1600 metre point.

Baker Creek NZ (Chloe Butler) Restrained at the start.

Misty Creek (Julie Weidemann) Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

Aunty Bella (Phoebe Betts) Commenced a three wide run leaving the 800 metre point.

Race 10 -TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY PACE     1780M

Call Me Trish (Hayden Barnes) Withstood an early challenge for the lead over the early stages to lead the event.

Nesters Hill (Taleah McMullen) Unsuccessfully challenged for the lead over the early stages then obtained a trail on Precious Cullen when that horse worked forward to obtain the position outside of the leader.

Precious Cullen NZ (Chloe Butler) Raced wide over the early stages of the event working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader leaving the 1400 metre point.

Shadys Delight (Trent Moffat) No clear run over the concluding stages of the event.

Cradle Of Fire (Leonard Cain) Raced wide over the early stages working forward to the position outside of the leader through the middle stages.
