Race 1 –MAZDA ASPLEY 0 TO 2 WINS PACE 1780M
LAZENA - Had a tendency to over race when racing behind the leader. Shifted in and contacted a marker peg on the home turn.
ALL EYES ON BLING – Had a tendency to hang in at various stages throughout the run.
BLUE DRAGON NZ - Worked forward in the early stages to lead the race around the 1300m
UNTENABLE - Raced roughly approaching the 1300m
Race 2 –STEVIE REDBACK PEST CONTROL PACE 1780M
MAGIC NITRO - Tightened and contacted marker pegs on entering first corner.
WRITE ABOUT ANGUS NZ - Tightened entering the first corner. Held up in the early stages of the home straight.
CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN - Contacted maker pegs entering the first corner. Locked stays with Always Be a Torque in the home straight. Driver fined
OUR DOLLY - Worked forward to race in the position outside the leader around the 1500m
MAJOR TRALEE - Worked forward to lead the race around the 1500m
ALWAYS BE A TORQUE – Locked stays with Captain Oh Captain in the home straight.
General
Driver Gary Bond (Captain Oh Captain) was fined $200 under AHR Rule 163(1)(d) for tightening the ground of Write About Angus (Layne Dwyer) entering the first turn which in turn tightened the ground of Magic Nitro (Leonard Cain) causing that runner to shift inside the line of marker pegs entering the first turn
Race 3 –BURWOOD STUD 2YO MAIDEN PACE 1780M
GLENEAGLE FIRE - Raced in the position behind the leader. Gave ground over the concluding stages.
TOMMY TIME - Broke entering the first turn. In view of the gelding’s previous record Tommy Time was stood down pending a satisfactory steward’s trial.
BETTOR BE BODHI - Broke as the start. The gelding will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile events until Stewards are satisfied it can perform in the desired manner.
KIPCHOGE - Fractious in the score up and was out of position at the candy pole. The gelding will continue to be draw wide in future mobile events until Stewards are satisfied it can perform in the desired manner. Raced wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field around the 1300m. Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 107m. Connections were advised the overall performance of Kipchoge was below the standard required and was stood down pending a satisfactory steward’s trial.
THE SWANSONG - Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 70.2m. Connections were advised the overall performance of The Swansong was below the standard required and subsequently placed on its last chance to race competitively.
Race 4 – DAN COSTELLO PHOTOGRAPHY PACE 1780M
MAJOR GENERALJUJON - Hung in and contacted marker pegs turning into the back straight and turning out of the back straight on the final occasion and a warning was issued to connections.
Race 5 –COMFORT INN & SUITES NORTHGATE PACE 2040M
TRACER BULLET - Had a tendency to over race when leading.
EXCUSE TO CULLECT – Hung in on the final turn.
GALVARINO - Raced ungenerously and raced roughly on the final turn and lost momentum.
VINNIE NITRO - Caught wide in the early stages before restraining to the rear of the field around the 1800m
SHEROCKSMYWORLD - Caught wide in the early stages before restraining to the rear of the field around the 1800m
MISTER DELWIN - Commenced a three wide move around the 1750m working forward to race outside the leader around the 1400m.
General
Stewards questioned Brendan Barnes (Galvarino) and Chloe Butler (Excuse to Cullect) into the reason Galvarino lost momentum on the final turn. After speaking with B Barnes and C Butler, viewing the patrol footage and acting on the steward’s observations, it was established that Galvarino raced ungenerously and struck its knee causing it to race roughly. Connections of Galverino were advised to take corrective measures for future races.
Race 6 –WOLF SIGNS PACE 1780M

LITTLE HOOFANANNY NZ
PRECOCIOUS KATE - Had a tendency to hang in throughout the race
BETTYS GOLD CLASS - Raced wide in the early stages working forward to lead the race around the 1400m
THE TIGER ARMY - Raced wide in the early stages working forward to race outside the leader around the 1200m
RISSOLES - Caught wide in the early stages before restraining to the rear of the field around the 1500m. Shifted in and contacted marker peg around the 1000m
GOOD WORD THAT - Had a tendency to hang in throughout the race. Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 59.9m. Given the overall time of the race no action was taken.
SON OF THE SHARK - Broke in the early stages of the score up but was able to fill its position in time
Race 7 –GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND PACE 2040M
ROCK NIEN - Raced wide in the early stages working forward to lead the race approaching the 1600m
LENNY LINCOLN NZ - Commenced a three wide move around the 1600m working forward to race outside the leader around the 1300m. Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 41.4m
BEV THE GOAT NZ - Reinstated back in the barrier draw for races conducted under mobile start conditions after satisfying QRIC requirements with two successful consecutive mobile starts.
Race 8 –LADBROKES TOP 2/3/4 BETTING PACE 1780M
EMPRESS BYELINE - Withstood an early challenge for the lead from Empress Byline
ART OF ROCK – Failed to take part in the pre-race circle
PUNTERS JEWEL - Had an unsuccessful challenge for the lead and was obliged to race without cover.
PRETTY LITTLE LIAR - Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. The mare will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile events until Stewards are satisfied it can perform in the desired manner.
ENGLISH DANCE - Raced wide in the early stages working forward to race in a midfield position around the 1400m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the horse to of bled from one nostril. English Dance was stood down pending a satisfactory steward’s trial. Driver Suspended.
TAKE A CHANCE - Checked and raced roughly around the 1400m
General
Driver Hannah Anforth (Englsih Dance) was suspended for 10 days under AHR Rule 163(1)(c)(iii) for causing interference to Take A Chance (Jonah Hutchinson) entering the back straight on the first occasion.
