Race 1 - DARREN EBERT & CO MAIDEN PACE           1780M

JADEZ -  Raced roughly into the turn after the bell

TAKEN BY SURPRISE - Hung in approaching the 500m

BETTY WINKLE – Caught wide in the early stages before restraining to the rear of the field. Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 60.4m and in view of the filly’s previous record Betty Winkle was stood down pending a satisfactory steward’s trial.

SHARP AS CAMM BE - Raced wide in the early stages of the event, working forward to race outside the leader.

SHEMOZZLE - Over raced in the early stages of the event

FRANKIE GIRL - Slow to score up and was out of position at the candy pole, a last chance in the draw was placed on the filly.

AMBERS ALLSTAR - Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 79.4m. In view of the mare’s previous record Ambers Allstar was stood down pending a satisfactory stewards trial.

Race 2 – PELICAN WATERS RESORT PACE   1780M

THREE MACHS - Commenced a three wide move with a lap remaining

SAMMYS SECRET - Over raced in the early stages of the event

THE BLUE WREN Out of position at the start – Driver reprimanded

Driver Damon Watson reprimanded AHR Rule 162(1)(h) for failing to come up into position at the start.

Race 3 - DAN COSTELLO PHOTOGRAPHY PACE       1780M

TAPTHEKEG –Contacted and dislodged marker post around the 500m – Driver reprimanded

PABLOS ART - Commenced an early three wide move, working forward to race outside the leader

ONE CHAIN ROAD – Driver Brendan Barnes whip was caught in the sulky of Hoiho in the run to the finish, causing him somewhat of a disadvantage

HOIHO NZ  - Reinstated back in the barrier draw for races conducted under mobile start conditions after satisfying QRIC requirements with two successful consecutive mobile starts.

STUDLEIGH DARCEY - Hung in entering the first turn and a warning was issued. Contacted a marker post on the turn into the back straight

General

Driver Clint Sneedon reprimanded AHR Rule 163(1)(c)(ii) for dislodging a marker post

Race 4 - WOLF SIGNS PACE   1780M

OYSTER STRIDE – Withstood challenge for the lead

GOTTA DREAM  - Unsuccessful challenge for the lead. Sustained a near side flat tyre when Maywyn Bonton Boy contacted the sulky. Driver fined AHR Rule 168(1)(a)

KNOCKAWARWON NZ – Inconvenienced when Maywyn Bonton Boy was checked

ROLLONX –Raced wide in the early stages of the event before restraining to a position behind the leader

MELTON INSULTED  - Raced wide in the early stages of the event working forward to race outside the leader

MAYWYN BONTON BOY - Checked and contacted sulky when Gotta Dream shifted in. Warning was issued for hanging out into the first turn.

JUSTROLLINGAROUND –Inconvenienced when Maywyn Bonton Boy was checked

General

Stewards enquired into an incident entering the first turn after the start where Maywyn Bonton Boy contacted the sulky of Gotta Dream and raced roughly. After taking evidence from drivers S Graham (Maywyn Bonton Boy) and A Richardson (Gotta Dream) it was established that as A Richardson was shifting his runner down to the marker line, S Graham was improving Maywyn Bonton Boy rapidly to fill the spot behind the leader. Maywyn Bonton Boy hung out slightly as he was improving, simultaneously as A Richardson was shifting his runner down.  Stewards considered all evidence tendered by both drivers and driver A Richardson was charged under AHR Rule 168(1)(a) and fined the sum of $300.

Race 5 – GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND PACE           2040M

BLING THE LUCK - Commenced a three wide move with a trail with a lap remaining. Sulky wheel contacted entering the home straight

SHACKOUTTHEBACK - Caught wide in the early stages, working forward to race outside the leader approaching the 1200m

MISSTREPO - Raced wide in the early stages of the event, working forward to race outside the leader approaching the 1800m. Commenced a three wide move with a lap remaining

HES SWEET – Raced wide in the early stages of the event, working forward to race outside the leader approaching the 1600m. Hung in when racing wide.

ZOOM PARTY - Commenced a three wide move with a trail with a lap remaining

MISTER DOMINGO - Broke in the home straight the first time. Given the horses previous record in the regard the gelding will be placed on its last chance to race truly. Contacted the sulky of Bling the Luck, driver reprimanded AHR Rule 168)1)(a). No clear run over the concluding stages

Driver Paige Bevan (Mister Domingo) Reprimanded AHR Rule 168(1)(a) for carelessly contacting sulky of Bling the Luck

Race 6 - LADBROKES ODDS SURGE UP TO NR70 PACE       1780M

TIGER BY THE TAIL - Over raced in the run

WINDY HILL WALLY  - Raced wide in the early stages, working forward to race outside the leader approaching the 1500m.

SHELL SHOCK NZ – Having not started in a race since 1st March 2024 and in accordance with QRIC guidelines the gelding was examined before and after the race by the veterinarian which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 7 - STEVIE REDBACK PEST CONTROL PACE (SKY 2)   1780M

MISTER DELWIN –Caught wide in the early stages before restraining to midfield position

SHES CLASSY NZ –Out of position at the start, a last chance in the draw was placed on the mare

Race 8 – HUSTLER 104 PACE (SKY 2) 1780M

BUSHY BEACH NZ – Broke into the turn out of the back straight. Given the horses previous record in the regard the gelding will be placed on its last chance to race truly.

STUDLEIGH MARK  - Galloped at the start. The gelding will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile events until Stewards are satisfied it can perform in the desired manner. Over raced throughout the event. Inconvenienced when Bushy Beach NZ broke

MODERN SHEEN - Caught wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field
