Race 1 – POWER UP LAWN MOWERS PACE (SKY 2) 2040M [MS]
JILLIBY TSUNAMI (Adam Richardson)– After leading, the gelding shifted outwards under pressure rounding the final turn.
DONT FEAR FOR ME (Dale Larpent) – Caught three-wide during the early stages before progressing to the position outside the leader leaving the 1700 metres. Gave ground over the concluding stages.
HEAVENS BABY (Leonard Cain)– Commenced a three-wide trailing run from the rear of the field leaving the 900 metres before giving ground over the concluding stages.
OYSTER STRIDE (Nathan Rothwell) – Broke gait shortly after the start. Connections were advised that OYSTER STRIDE will be excluded from the barrier draw for future mobile starts until Stewards are satisfied it can perform in the desired manner.
PERFECT FEELING (Matt Elkins)– Pulled hard during the score-up. Overraced and continued to pull hard during the early and middle stages while racing in a rearward trailing position before commencing a three-wide run without cover leaving the 900 metres.
MAYWYNS KAREN (Layne Dwyer)– Commenced a three-wide trailing run from a rearward trailing position leaving the 900 metres.
Race 2 – LADBROKES POPULAR SRM PACE 2280M [MS]
CREDULOUS (Matt Elkins) – Raced outside the leader throughout.
GLENLEDI BOY NZ (Brendan Barnes)– Caught three-wide in the early stages and, after being unable to obtain a more forward position, was restrained to the rear of the field near the 1800 metres.
GLENEAGLE VEE CEE (Chloe Butler)– Overraced and pulled hard during the early and middle stages while leading. Hung inwards rounding the final turn, resulting in the sulky wheel contacting a marker peg.
Race 3 – GARRARDS HERE ON TRACK PACE 1780M [MS]
KERBANG (Brendan Barnes)– Hung outwards during the score-up. Led the one-wide line before momentarily pacing roughly leaving the 1350 metres when being restrained into a midfield marker-line position.
SIR RICHARD LEE (Tom Callaghan)– Showed gate speed, racing three-wide in the early stages before working forward to lead nearing the 1400 metres.
MULLUM RUBY (Layne Dwyer) – Fractious during the early stages of the score-up.
TIGER TOMMY NZ (Paige Bevan) – Contacted and dislodged a marker peg entering the sprint lane. Driver P Bevan was subsequently fined $100 under AHR rule 163(1)(c)(ii).
WINDY HILL WALLY (Nathan Rothwell) – Improved three-wide from a rearward trailing position leaving the 1300 metres, obtaining the position leading the one-wide line near the 1100 metres.
General:
Paige Bevan, driver of TIGER TOMMY NZ was fined $100 under AHR rule 163(1)(c)(ii) for allowing her sulky wheel to contact and dislodge a marker peg upon entering the sprint lane in the run to the finish.
Race 4 – 2025 CUP DAY AT THE BAY FINAL 1780M [MS]
SAINT LOUIS BEAT (Gary Whitaker)– Turning into the back straight on the first occasion, shifted inwards and contacted a marker peg, resulting in the peg being dislodged.
THE HARRIS HAWK (Nathan Dawson)– Leaving the 800 metres, commenced a three-wide trailing run from the rear of the field.
ONE CHAIN ROAD (Nathan Rothwell) – Pulled hard during the score-up. Leaving the 800 metres, commenced a three-wide run without cover from a rearward trailing position.
Race 5 – MEMBERS DRAW WINNER - IAN HALL PACE 1780M [MS]
IMPERIOUS (Jonah Hutchinson)– Overraced and pulled hard during the middle stages while positioned trailing the leader.
HEZA MAYWYN (Shane Graham)– Held up for clear racing room rounding the home turn and in the early stages of the home straight before obtaining clear running in the run to the finish.
AMILLIONCHANCES (Nathan Rothwell)– Caught four-wide initially around the first turn before racing three-wide with cover in the early stages, progressing forward to obtain the position outside the leader near the 1200 metres. Reinstated in the barrier draw for races conducted under mobile start conditions after satisfying QRIC requirements with the completion of two (2) successful consecutive mobile starts.
PUB LANE PRINCESS (Don Brown)– Having not started in a race since 20 August 2024 and in accordance with QRIC guidelines, the filly was examined before the race by the veterinarian which revealed no apparent abnormalities. Approaching the 600 metres, paced roughly when commencing to yield ground.
ASHLEE NITRO (Nathan Dawson)– Near the 1500 metres, left a midfield trailing position and progressed three-wide without cover, advancing to race outside the leader leaving the 1300 metres before securing one-out one-back cover from AMILLIONCHANCES (Nathan Rothwell) shortly after, near the 1200 metres.
Race 6 – 2025 GARRARDS REDCLIFFE YEARLING SALE RACE SERIES - 2YO HEAT 1 1780M [MS]
TEQUILASUNRISE (Leonard Cain) – Declared a late scratching at 7:49 pm on veterinary advice after the filly was found to be lame in the near fore-leg during its preliminary. Acting on veterinary recommendation, connections were advised that TEQUILASUNRISE was stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming racing.
MAGIC JUJON (Jack Chapple)– Paced roughly rounding the first turn while positioned trailing the leader.
MOONSHINE MILLY (Adam Sanderson)– Caught racing three-wide in the early stages before progressing forward to obtain the position outside the leader leaving the 1450 metres.
CHECKINGOUTTHEBILL (Matt Elkins)– Shifted inwards and contacted marker pegs on the turn out of the back straight on the final occasion. Shifted ground under pressure over the latter stages of the run to the finish.
Race 7 – 2025 GARRARDS REDCLIFFE YEARLING SALE RACE SERIES - 2YO HEAT 2 1780M [MS]
ADAH KOKO (Adam Richardson)– Hung inwards turning into the back straight on the final occasion while leading, resulting in the sulky wheel contacting a marker peg.
ROCKNREASON (Jonah Hutchinson) – Paced roughly in the score-up, however filled its allotted gate position prior to the candy pole.
LONE RANGER JUJON (Adam Sanderson) – Broke gait during the score-up and was out of position at the start. Connections were advised that LONE RANGER JUJON will be excluded from the barrier draw for future mobile starts until Stewards are satisfied it can perform in the desired manner. Paced roughly leaving the 400 metres, losing ground.
CALL IT BLING (Layne Dwyer) – Improved three-wide from a rearward trailing position leaving the 1300 metres, obtaining the position outside the leader near the 1100 metres.
Race 8 – 2025 GARRARDS REDCLIFFE YEARLING SALE RACE SERIES - 3YO HEAT 1 2040M [MS]
BLING THE NOISE (Layne Dwyer)– Pulled hard during the score-up. Overraced and pulled hard during the early and middle stages while racing in the position leading the one-wide line before weakening over the concluding stages.
BASILISK BOB (Tom Callaghan) – Caught three-wide shortly after the start before progressing forward to obtain the lead leaving the 1650 metres. Shifted inwards and contacted a marker peg entering the back straight on the final occasion.
Race 9 - 2025 GARRARDS REDCLIFFE YEARLING SALE RACE SERIES - 3YO HEAT 2 2040M [MS]
GLENEAGLE HUNTER (Jordan Topping)– Pulled hard during the score-up.
ZAC DANIELS (Leonard Cain)– Shifted inwards and contacted a marker peg on the turn into the back straight on the final occasion while leading.
Race 10 - DRIVER OF THE NIGHT - JACK CHAPPLE MAIDEN PACE 1780M [MS]
PIPPAS LITTLE GEM (Amanda Turnbull)– Withstood an early challenge for the lead from DIVINE ABUNDANCE (Luke Sutherland) to hold the lead. After leading, shifted outwards under pressure rounding the final turn.
SARAHS ALL WRITE (Layne Dwyer)– Locked wheels with BOSTON FIRE (Jonah Hutchinson) leaving the 250 metres and was checked.
DIVINE ABUNDANCE (Luke Sutherland) – Showed gate speed but was unable to secure the lead in the early stages and subsequently raced outside the leader for the remainder of the event.
CALL KELLY (Jack Chapple)– Raced wide early before breaking gait clear of interference rounding the first turn. After considering the filly’s good record in this regard, connections were advised that CALL KELLY has been placed on its last chance to race truly.
VEESIGN (Gary Bond)– Broke gait shortly after the start. Connections were advised that VEESIGN will be excluded from the barrier draw for future mobile starts until Stewards are satisfied it can perform in the desired manner.
BOSTON FIRE (Jonah Hutchinson)– Locked wheels with SARAHS ALL WRITE (Layne Dwyer) leaving the 250 metres and checked when racing in restricted room. Reinstated in the mobile barrier draw after satisfying QRIC requirements with two consecutive successful mobile starts.
AUNTY TINY (Nathan Dawson)– Paced roughly when negotiating the turn into the back straight on the first occasion while trailing the leader. Contacted marker pegs leaving the 300 metres when racing in restricted room.
