Race 1 - POWER UP LAWN MOWERS PACE   2040M

Blackjack Bart – Slowly out. Held up for clear run until entering the home straight.

Kerbang – Raced wide early before leading the event approaching the 1700m.

Playa Blanca – Raced wide early before gaining the position outside the leader approaching the 1700m.

Misstrepo – Commenced a three wide move with a lap remaining.

Race 2 - LADBROKES BLACKBOOK UP TO NR75 PACE  1780M

Luxury Lad – Inclined to over raced whilst leading.

Shez Notorious – Checked  by Im Desirable shifting wider.

Agouda Ruler – Stewards questioned connections regarding the disappointing performance of the gelding. They advised once in a trailing position the gelding dropped the bit and failed to handle the track. It is their intention not to start the gelding at Redcliffe in future.

Im Desirable – Driver fined careless causing another runner to be checked

General: Drivers Jonah Hutchinson (Shez Notorious) and Mitch Turnbull (Im Desirable) were questioned regarding why Shez Notorious appeared to faulter and lose ground near the 500m. Mr Turnbull was fined $200 for being careless in allowing Im Desirable which shifted out in the back straight not clear of Shez Notorious. (AHR Rule 168(1)(a)).

Race 3 - GARRARDS HERE AT THE TRACK PACE  1780M

Jimmy Joyce – Underwent a veterinary inspection prior to the event at the request of the driver. Was passed fit to start.

Kowhai Blaze NZ – Contacted the barrier arm, broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. Connections were advised the mare will be placed out of the draw in future mobile starts. Over raced throughout the run, contacted a sulky and broke gait, placed on its last chance to race truly.

Cote Dazur NZ - Inclined to over raced whilst racing behind the leader. Held up for clear run upon entering the sprint lane.

Race 4 - COMFORT INN NORTHGATE PACE   1780M

Isla And Addie – Broke in early stages of the score up when racing in restricted room. Inclined to over race whilst racing outside the leader.

Hoiho NZ – Raced wide in the early stages before leading the event approaching the 1400m.

Batman Bart – Commenced a three wide move around the 1300m and raced wide throughout. At the trainers request the veterinarian examined the gelding after the race. Due to its depressed state the gelding was stood down for 10 days, a vet certificate and one trial.

Race 5  - MAZDA ASPLEY PACE  1780M 

Ashlee Nitro – No clear run vital stage.

English Dance – Broke in the early stages of the score up.

Offyarocka Crocker – Raced three wide in the early stages and after an unsuccessful challenge for the position outside the leader, was as restrained to the rear of the field.

Race 6 - WOLF SIGNS PACE   1780M

Bettor Dream Sweet – Raced outside the leader, worked forward to lead the event around the 1400m.

Chanceless Century – Raced wide early, working forward to race outside the leader around the 1400m.

Kiwi Royalty – After satisfying QRIC requirements the gelding will be placed back in the draw in mobile events.

Sir Jujon – Over raced throughout the event and held up for clear run to the finish.

Race 7 - HYGAIN FEEDS PACE  1780M

Vermont – Hung in and contacted marker post on the first corner.

Lady Allegra – Held up at a vital stage in the straight.

Holme Boy – Worked forward to lead the event approaching the 1500m.

Monterey Jack NZ  - Examined prior to and following the running of this event by the veterinarian as the gelding is 12 years of age. The examinations revealed no apparent abnormalities. Commenced a three wide move with a lap remaining.

Doolittle Dexter – Raced wide in the early stages of the event before gaining the position outside the leader approaching the 1500m.

La Sabina NZ – Held up at a vital stage in the straight.

Race 8 - BURWOOD STUD PACE  1780M

Typhoon Torque – Had a tendency to contact its own sulky. Connections were advised to take corrective measures to prevent a reoccurrence. Had a tendency to shift up the track in the concluding stages.

Shadow Eclipse - Held up for clear run at a vital stage and not fully tested. 

Many Delights – Examined prior to and following the running of this event by the veterinarian as the gelding is 12 years of age. The examinations revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 9 - DRIVER OF THE NIGHT PETE MCMULLEN 1 WIN PACE  2040M

Financial Burden – Had a tendency to race roughly over the concluding stages.

My Ultimate Cossie - Over raced whilst leading the event.

Poppy Rae - Having not started in a race since May 2023 and in accordance with the QRIC guidelines, the mare was examined before and after the race by a veterinarian which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 10 - MEMBERS DRAW WINNER MARTIN HANRAHAN MAIDEN PACE   1780M

Pinkchampagne – Worked forward to lead the event approaching the 1500m.

Air Born - Raced wide early to obtain the position approaching the 1500m.

Ultimate Ark – Broke in the score up, was out of position at the start. Will continue to be drawn wide in mobile events.

Whykikamoocow – Broke gait around the 1600m. Connections were advised the gelding will be placed on a last chance to race truly.

Southern Scarlett-  Gave ground over the concluding stages. No action taken due to the fast time for the class of race and relative inexperience of the filly.

Poetic Reason- Gave ground over the concluding stages. No action taken due to the fast time for the class of the race.
