LOCHINVAR LORENZO (W Hill) which galloped shortly after the start will be excluded from the draw in future mobile barrier start races. After galloping LOCHINVAR LORENZO then pulled hard in running.

RACE 7 – ALEX’S MEAT PACE – 1609MS

The right foot of Ryan Hryhorec (SAVERIO) momentarily slipped from sulky rest in front straight final occasion.

Stewards questioned Shane Turner (ZIP YA LIP) as to why he left a trailing position and race without cover near 1200 Metres. When making the move he felt as his drive is very much one paced and with the speed in race backing off in his opinion it may have been his best chance to get into the race. In hindsight he agreed with the stewards that he had erred as his drive gave ground near 400 Metres and didn’t finish the race off. Stewards advised him that his drive bordered on unacceptable.

GENERAL

Trainer Ryan Hryhorec advised stewards that the blood tests taken from MISS IDAHO after its race at Globe Derby Park on Sunday 24th November 2024 revealed the filly had a viral infection.
