Veterinary examination pre-race as horses started at Globe Derby Park 14th October 2024. Race 1. Scoobs Operator. Race 3. Boss Major. Passed fit to start.
Late driving changes as Tony Pullicino indisposed. Medical clearance required. Race 2. Celestial Topaz Shane Loone. Race 3. Jilliby Chambers Nick Tardio.
RACE 1 –LADBROKES PACE 1609MS

RACE 2 – SOMEWHERE SECRET @ KIAORA STUD PACE– 2050MS
Warnings placed on HAVELOCK (S Pascoe) and ZARAS ALL GOOD (J Kittel) for being out of position at start.
Post-race veterinary examination of CELESTIAL ZODIAC (D Hill) which gave ground after leading to be beaten 76 metres revealed no abnormalities. Trainer to advise should anything arise post-race. Driver reported contacted sulky in running.
Post-race veterinary examination of GLENLEA BELLA (W Hill) which after racing in a trailing position gave ground after racing in a trailing position to be beaten 85 metres revealed no abnormalities. Trainer reported horse had pulled a front shoe off in float and he removed the remaining shoe.
RACE 3 – TRUMP BLOODSTOCK PACE - 1609MS
Start delayed whilst lugging pole replaced on PLEASE SHUDDUP (W Hill).
JILLIBY CHAMBERS (N Tardio) which was a late scratching after causing two false starts will be excluded from draw in future mobile start races.
Trainer John Phillips (TIMMYS REJECT) fined $ 100 under R273(6)(a) for presenting horse on the track with incorrect number.
RACE 4 – HARBISON PERFORMANCE PACE – 2050MS
No report
Due to electrical storm activity in vicinity of racetrack the lightning policy was invoked and racing put on hold.
Stewards after consulting with PHRC officials abandoned the meeting at 8:22pm
