RACE 1 – DOWNLOAD THE TAB APP TODAY PACE – 2040 metres

BABY BEE MINE– Had a tendency to over race in the early stages of the event whilst racing outside the leader.

BROOKLYN BANDIT– Caught racing three wide in the early stages of the event before being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1700 metres.

PUNTO CALIENTE- Pre-race blood sample. Raced three wide in the middle stages of the event from the 1550 metres before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1300 metres. Tired over the concluding 600 metres to be beaten a considerable distance. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Connections advised that they would look to give PUNTO CALIENTE a spell after tonight’s event. As a result the gelding was stood down for 28 days. Due to the overall performance of PUNTO CALIENTE in tonight’s event the gelding was also stood down for one requalifying trial.

TULHURST MAFFIOSO– Had a tendency to hang in at various stages of the event. A warning was issued.

BEN DETTO– Had a tendency to over race throughout the middle stages of the event.

DIXIEDOLITTLE– Raced three wide for the final 800 metres without cover. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 2 – PARKES LEAGUES CLUB PACE – 1660 metres

INVINCIANO– Broke stride in the early stages of the score up and as a result was out of position as the start was affected. A warning was issued. As a result of being out of position when the start was affected, took no competitive part in tonight’s event.

DUNNO JO– Post-race swab sample.

SIX TIMES A LADY NZ– Became unbalanced before breaking stride leaving the 1500 metres and as a result shifted down the track and locked wheels with PROCUREMENT. A warning was issued.

PROMISING– Checked and broke leaving the 700 metres when LYNTON CREEK NZ hung in and placed the gelding in restricted racing room.

PROCUREMENT– Severely checked and locked wheels with SIX TIMES A LADY NZ leaving the 1500 metres when that runner had broken stride. As a result of locking wheels, PROCUREMENT sustained a flat tyre and was retired from the event at the 1400 metres. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

LYNTON CREEK NZ– Inconvenienced leaving the 1500 metres when SIX TIMES A LADY NZ broke stride and locked wheels with PROCUREMENT. Raced three wide in the middle stages of the event from the 1000 metres before hanging in from the 750 metres, placing PROMISING in restricted racing room before that runner was checked and broke leaving the 700 metres. A warning was issued.

BLOOD MONEY– Inconvenienced leaving the 1500 metres when SIX TIMES A LADY NZ broke stride and locked wheels with PROCUREMENT.

ITSALLABOUTNED– Pre-race blood sample. Checked leaving the 1500 metres when SIX TIMES A LADY NZ broke stride and locked wheels with PROCUREMENT.

 

RACE 3 – PARKES HRC COMMITTEE 3YO PACE – 1660 metres

WINTER ROSE– Tired over the concluding stages of the event to be beaten some distance. A warning was issued.

TULHURST SMOOCHER– Tired over the concluding stages of the event to be beaten some distance. A warning was issued.

TULHURST BLASTER– Pre-race blood sample. Unable to hold the lead passing the 1200 metres. Stewards queried Driver N Hurst on his tactics in the early stages of the event whilst trying to hold the lead. N Hurst stated that it was his intention to lead the event and he elected to try and maintain the lead when challenged by BELLRIVERGIRL as he believed his runner was better suited racing in a forward position as well as BELLRIVERGIRL not being driven in an aggressive manner before. N Hurst further stated given the tempo in the early stages he was not disappointed in the overall performance of TULHURST BLASTER in tonight’s event. Stewards noted his comments.

OUR ULTIMATE RUBY– Became unbalanced and broke stride in the latter stages of the score up on the first occasion and was out of position resulting in a false start being declared. Despite the efforts of driver G Betts was out of position when the start was affected on the second occasion. Due to it being OUR ULTIMATE RUBY’S first race start the filly will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw in future starts. Inconvenienced and momentarily locked wheels with TENEACHWAY rounding the home turn when SHANDIIN BEACH was struggling to negotiate the home turn.

SHANDIIN BEACH– Checked leaving the 300 metres while trailing TULHURST SMOOCHER when that runner had commenced to give ground. Rounding the home turn on the final occasion shifted up the track slightly when racing to the inside of TENEACHWAY resulting in TENEACHWAY being inconvenienced and taken up the track and momentarily locking wheels with OUR ULTIMATE RUBY.

BELLRIVERGIRL– Worked forward to the lead passing the 1200 metres. Stewards queried Driver M Turnbull on his tactics in the early stages of the event whilst working forward to the lead. M Turnbull stated that his runner began well so he elected to work forward at that point. He further stated that once he had an advantage over TULHURST BLASTER he further elected to work forward to the lead. Stewards noted his comments.

TENEACHWAY– Inconvenienced and momentarily locked wheels with OUR ULTIMATE RUBY rounding the home turn on the final occasion when SHANDIIN BEACH was struggling to negotiate the home turn. Tired over the concluding stages to be beaten some distance. A warning was issued.

WELLSAIDMYLADY– Despite the efforts of Driver J Dean was out of position when the start was affected. WELLSAIDMYLADY will continue to be placed outside the mobile barrier draw in future starts.

FRESH PRINCE– Out of position when the start was affected due to OUR ULTIMATE RUBY being out of position forward of FRESH PRINCE. No further action was taken. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 4 – MEDLYNS/CASTROL PACE – 1660 metres

WILLIES DOLLAR– Became unbalanced before breaking stride shortly after the start was affected. Due to the filly’s record in relation to the start WILLIES DOLLAR will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw in future starts. It was reported that WILLIES DOLLAR dropped both knee boots during the run.

LOU CEE– Pre-race blood sample.

THE ROGUE I AM– Raced three wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1500 metres. It was reported that the filly’s deafeners failed to release in the concluding stages of the event.

GOLDEN ZARA– Post-race swab sample.

IDEAL DENNY– Inconvenienced shortly after the start was affected when WILLIES DOLLAR had broken stride.

DEBRA JEAN– Became unbalanced before breaking stride leaving the 200 metres. A warning was issued.

 

RACE 5 – DEANS HYDRAULICS PACE – 1660 metres

TURBO TOMMY– Post-race swab sample.

LETS GET SHORTY– Stewards adjourned an enquiry into driver N Townsends whip use in the home straight on the final occasion to a date yet to be fixed. Driver N Townsend received a reprimand under AHRR 163(1)(a)(iii) for shifting his runner down to the marker pegs passing the 1500 metres when not sufficiently clear of THE HUSTLER NZ.  Driver N Townsend received a reprimand under AHRR 163(1)(a)(iii) for shifting his runner out to obtain clear running entering the home straight on the final occasion when not sufficiently clear of POCKET BOOK NZ.  Driver N Townsend was found guilty of a charge under AHRR 156(2)(a) for applying his whip in the home straight on the final occasion in more than an wrist only flicking motion.  N Townsend was fined the sum of $200.  An inquiry into the reasons N Townsend failed to attend a Stewards inquiry was adjourned to a date yet to be fixed.

 

POCKET BOOK NZ– Pre-race blood sample. Caught racing three wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1400 metres.

BELL RIVER BOY– Raced three wide over the final 900 metres without cover.

THE HUSTLER NZ– Held up for clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.

KRAFTY BOY– Tired over the concluding 600 metres to be beaten a considerable distance. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Due to the overall performance of KRAFTY BOY       in tonight’s event, the horse was stood down for one requalifying trial.

 

RACE 6 – GARRARDS LOYALTY SERIES FINAL – 1660 metres

DEAD EYE TIKI– Pre-race blood sample.

PEAKSART– Leaving the 200 metres hung in and raced roughly resulting in the gelding contacting marker pegs. A warning was issued.

ART LEGEND– Surrendered the lead in the middle stages of the event passing the 1400 metres.

CHANERO– Became unbalanced before breaking stride passing the 1500 metres. A warning was issued.

MILLIE THE FILLIE– Inconvenienced passing the 1500 metres when CHENERO had broken stride. Raced three wide without cover from the 900 metres. Shifted in marginally and contacted the sulky of EAGLE ART leaving the 500 metres when that runner had shifted out and tightened the running of MILLIE THE FILLIE.

CARIBBEAN DELIGHT– Broke stride in the early stages of the score up. A warning was issued.

EAGLE ART– Driver N Turnbull received a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for shifting his runner out leaving the 500 metres tightening the running of MILLIE THE FILLIE resulting in that runner contacting the sulky of EAGLE ART.

MIGHTY ATOM– Raced three wide in the middle stages of the event from the 1400 metres before working forward to the lead passing the 1200 metres. Post-race swab sample.

FAR OUT RINGO– Checked and broke leaving the 1500 metres when CHENERO had broken stride. Raced three wide for the final 900 metres with cover.

 

RACE 7 – PARKES FARM CENTRE PACE - 1660 metres

MISTER MANAGER– Pre-race blood sample. Surrendered the lead in the early stages of the event passing the 1450 metres. Had a tendency to over race in the middle stages of the event. Became unbalanced before breaking stride leaving the 200 metres. A warning was issued.

SPORTY MARY– Post-race swab sample.

THE BATTLE WE FACE– Raced three wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1200 metres.

CANDI– Race three wide in the early stages of the event with cover before becoming unbalanced and breaking stride passing the 1400 metres. Due to the filly’s record CANDI was stood down for one requalifying trial. Raced three wide for the final 850 metres without cover.

YAYAS HOT HEART– Worked forward to the lead passing the 1450 metres.

NEGATIVE NANCY– Had a tendency to over race throughout various stages of the event.

 

RACE 8 – COL FLETCHER FORD PACE – 1660 metres

CARIBBEAN RUNA– Checked and raced inside marker pegs leaving the 1000 metres when TALLARINGAFEELGOOD broke stride.

TALLARINGAFEELGOOD– Surrendered the lead in the early stages of the event passing the 1400 metres. Became unbalanced before breaking stride passing the 1000 metres. Due to the mare’s record, TALLARINGAFEELGOOD was stood down for one requalifying trial.

BETTOR IDEA– Pre-race blood sample. Worked forward to the lead passing the 1450 metres.

TORQUE NO FEAR– Caught racing three wide in the early stages of the event before being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1200 metres.

MISS STORMY GREY– Caught racing three wide in the early stages of the event before obtaining a position in the running line passing the 1500 metres.

ROSE OF JULIANA– Caught racing three wide in the early stages of the event before being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1450 metres.

FROZEN JEWEL– Post-race swab sample.

JAMES CHARLES– Had a tendency to hang in throughout various stages of the event. Tired over the concluding stages of the event to be beaten a considerable distance. Due to the overall performance of the gelding in tonight’s event JAMES CHARLES was stood down for one requalifying trial.
