MAJOR ICON NZ– Consideration was given to a protest lodged by Seaton Grima, driver of 2nd placed MAJOR ICON NZ, alleging interference against 1st placed SWEDISH MEATBALLS over the concluding stages. after taking evidence from Mr Grima, Chloe Formosa (Driver -SWEDISH MEATBALLS) and review of the available replays it was established shortly after passing the 200 metres THE METAL FLYER shifted out under pressure resulting in DESIDERIO being carried wider which contributed to SWEDISH MEATBALLS shifting wider and subsequently locking wheels with MAJOR ICON NZ resulting in that runner being inconvenienced.
