RACE 1 – HAPPY 90TH BIRTHDAY NORMA MCNALLY HRNSW RISING STARS (PENALTY EXEMPT EVENT) – 1609 metres
CRAFTSMANS CHARLIE– Pre-race blood sample. Stewards delayed the announcement of All Clear to review the films in the run to the finish, where it was established CRAFTSMANS CHARLIE when held up in the early stages of the home straight behind WHISKEY CAVALIER NZ had raced inside a number of marker pegs, however Stewards were satisfied that whilst racing inside marker pegs CRAFTSMANS CHARLIE did not improve to the inside of WHISKEY CAVALIER NZ until such time as it was racing back to the outside of marker pegs and subsequently the All Clear was given. Post-race swab sample.
MAEBEE– Hung in passing the 1200 metres.
DOUBLE ACT– Broke stride free of interference passing the 350 metres checking OUTSIDE FIGHTER. After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.
WHISKEY CAVALIER NZ– Worked forward to the lead passing the 1200 metres.
OUTSIDE FIGHTER– Improved three wide from the 900 metres and raced wide for the remainder of the event. Checked by DOUBLE ACT when that gelding broke stride passing the 350 metres.
ROMANEE NZ- Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 2 – KARI JC CAFFYN PLATE (PENALTY FREE EVENT) – 2300 metres
DONTLETFEARSTOPYA NZ– Worked forward to the lead passing the 1300 metres.
WAVETHEBILL NZ– Worked forward to the lead passing the 1500 metres.
KUZMA– Sustained a flat offside sulky tyre passing the 350 metres when OBADIAH DRAGON NZ contacted the sulky wheel when being shifted wider on the track.
HEAVENLY HOLLY- Pre-race blood sample.
EMMAS BOY NZ– Tightened upon entry to the first turn and had to be restrained by Driver Rory Coverdale when JORDY NZ was shifted down the track.
JORDY NZ– Driver Scott Rains pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 165(1)(b), in that he shifted his runner down the track down the track towards the running line when not sufficiently clear of the extended front legs of EMMAS BOY NZ causing that runner to be restrained and lose its rightful position in the running line. After considering the recent record of Mr Rains, in addition to the minor nature of the interference, his licence was suspended for a period of 7 days.
OBADIAH DRAGON NZ- Pre-race blood sample. Driver Tanner Brown was reprimanded under Rule 168(1)(a) for careless driving, in that upon entry to the home straight he contacted the offside sulky wheel of KUZMA when shifting his runner wider on the track to obtain clear running. Post-race swab sample.
RACE 3 – NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 2YO COLTS AND GELDINGS FINAL (GROUP 1) – 1609 metres
FATE AWAITS- Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
SANCHEZ- Pre-race blood sample. Hung in and contacted marker pegs rounding the final turn. Held up in the early stages of the home straight until gaining clear running passing the 200 metres. Post-race swab sample.
PATH TO GREATNESS- Pre-race blood sample.
HEEZA MALTEEZA- Pre-race blood sample. Broke stride free of interference passing the 250 metres. After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.
DOUBLE LOU- Pre-race blood sample. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed it to be significantly lame in the left foreleg and was stood down until the completion of a veterinary certificate of clearance.
DOUBLE IT HARRY- Pre-race blood sample.
HEZATREACHEROUS- Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
DUTY OF CARE- Pre-race blood sample. Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 300 metres.
SWEET ON LEXY- Pre-race blood sample. Caught racing three wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1000 metres.

WAMBOYNEINAMERICA- Pre-race blood sample. Broke stride free of interference passing the 350 metres. After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.

RACE 5 – FRED BORG OAM MEMORIAL NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 4YO ENTIRES AND GELDINGS FINAL (GROUP 3) – 1609 metres
ZEN MASTER– Tired over the concluding stages of the event.
CAPTAINS KNOCK- Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
MICK DANGER- Pre-race blood sample.
HY POACTIVE- Pre-race blood sample.
VAN BASTEN– Tired over the concluding stages of the event.
OLIVER DAN– Post-race swab sample.
CAPTAIN HAMMERHEAD- Pre-race blood sample. Held up over the final 100 metres of the event and not fully tested.
RACE 6 – 24HR FIGHT AGAINS CANCER MACARTHUR TONY AND JILL MCGRATH TROTTERS FFA – 1609 metres
SUPER SERVICE– Broke stride free of interference passing the 950 metres and inconvenienced ALDEBARAN JENSEN and AFFAIRE DE COVER. After considering the recent record of the gelding, it was stood down until the completion of one requalifying trial.
FUNKY MONKEY NZ- Pre-race blood sample.
ALDEBARAN JENSEN– Inconvenienced passing the 950 metres when SUPER SERVICE broke stride.
TOUGH LOVE- Pre-race blood sample. Broke stride during the middle stages of the score up and as a result was out of position at the start. After considering the recent record of the mare, a warning was issued.
SUNNY GEE– Inconvenienced passing the 950 metres when SUPER SERVICE broke stride.
ALDEBARAN ZEUS– Post-race swab sample.
RACE 7 – BESTINBEDS.COM.AU BATTLE OF BEERSHEBA FFA – 2300 metres
CLASSIE WASHINGTON NZ– Placed in restricted room and contacted the marker pegs upon entry to the first turn when MAJOR MOTH hung down the track.
GAWN- Pre-race blood sample. Stewards questioned Driver Jack Brown with regards to the performance of the horse which tired over the concluding stages of the event to finish in 10th placing beaten 115 metres. Driver Jack Brown advised Stewards he was afforded instructions by Trainer Jason Grimson to drive hard in the early stages and look to cross CLASSIE WASHINGTON NZ. Mr Brown advised that after being unable to cross CLASSIE WASHINGTON NZ in the run to the first turn GAWN commenced to over race and pulled quite hard throughout the event which is a common racing tendency of the horse, however he was unable to explain the seemingly disappointing performance. A post-race examination of the horse failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. After considering the recent record of the horse, it was stood down until the completion of one requalifying trial.
NERANO NZ– Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the lead passing the 1600 metres. Stewards questioned Driver Cameron Hart with regards to the performance of the gelding which tired over the concluding stages to finish in 9th placing beaten 98 metres. Mr Hart advised Stewards when GAWN was unable to cross CLASSIE WASHINGTON NZ in the run to the first turn his runner was left racing three wide until he was able to obtain the lead passing the 1600 metres. Mr Hart further advised that despite the early burn the gelding was disappointing and may have had an off night. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. After considering the recent record of the gelding, it was stood down until the completion of one requalifying trial.
LEAP TO FAME- Pre-race blood sample. Improved three wide form the 1900 metres until obtaining the position outside the leader passing the 1500 metres. Post-race swab sample.
MAJOR MOTH– Hung in upon entry to the first turn and restricted the racing room of GAWN and CLASSIE WASHINGTON NZ causing CLASSIE WASHINGTON NZ to contact a number of marker pegs. Stewards questioned Driver Jack Callaghan with regards to the performance of the horse which tired over the concluding stages to finish in 8th placing beaten 38 metres. Mr Callaghan advised Stewards in his opinion the horse was a bit disappointing this evening, particularly after considering MAJOR MOTH was required to do some early work yet landed in a favourable position in running. Mr Callaghan further advised the horse commenced to hang in rounding the final turn but he could offer no other excuse for the performance. A post-race veterinary examination of the horse failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. After considering the explanation of Mr Callaghan, Stewards determined to note his comments.
RACE 8 – NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 2YO FILLIES FINAL (GROUP 1) – 1609 metres
SUGAR RUSH- Pre-race blood sample.
SUGAR PIE HONEY- Pre-race blood sample. Worked forward to the lead passing the 1100 metres. Placed in restricted room when challenged for the lead by NAMAKA approaching the 800 metres. Post-race swab sample.
THE LADY DIOR- Pre-race blood sample.
GUNNA RELOAD- Pre-race blood sample. Hung out after the start and inconvenienced GOLDEN SHOOZ, HONOLULU PRINCESS, THE SWIFT ONE and NAMAKA. Post-race swab sample.
GOLDEN SHOOZ- Pre-race blood sample. Inconvenienced after the start when GUNNA RELOAD hung out. Tired over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
HONOLULU PRINCESS- Pre-race blood sample. Inconvenienced after the start when GUNNA RELOAD hung out. Raced roughly passing the 400 metres. After considering the recent record of the filly, a warning was issued.

THE SWIFT ONE- Pre-race blood sample. Inconvenienced after the start when GUNNA RELOAD hung out.
NAMAKA- Pre-race blood sample. Inconvenienced after the start when GUNNA RELOAD hung out. Improved three wide form the 1100 metres and commenced to challenge SUGAR PIE HONEY for the lead until ceasing that challenge passing the 700 metres. Momentarily placed SUGAR PIE HONEY in restricted room passing the 800 metres.

RACE 9 – NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 3YO FILLIES FINAL (GROUP 1) – 1609 metres
ELUSIVE– Post-race swab sample.
RENEWAL– Momentarily placed in restricted room upon entry to the home straight when GOLLY GEE FELLAS which was improving three wide raced tight to the outside of RENEWAL causing that runner to race roughly and further inconvenience ARTEMIS MISSION. Stewards questioned Driver Cameron Hart with regards to the performance of the filly which finished in 5th placing beaten 22 metres. Mr Hart advised stewards he was reasonably happy with the filly and explained the fast time of tonight’s event was maybe above her capabilities. A post-race examination of the filly failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. After considering the explanation provided by Mr Hart, Stewards determined to note his comments.
SWEET HAYLEY JANE– Stewards questioned Driver Rickie Alchin with regards to the filly tiring over the concluding stages to finish in 10th placing beaten 59 metres. Mr Alchin advised Stewards he felt the filly’s performance this evening was only average despite working well during the week. Mr Alchin further explained in his opinion the filly only raced fairly in last week’s heat and may have now come to the end of her preparation. Mr Alchin advised he will discuss with the owners the short term plan for the filly, however his advice would be to give the filly a let up. In addition Mr Alchin advised that he would look to have bloods taken early in the week and advise Stewards if any abnormalities are detected. A post-race veterinary examination of the filly failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. After considering the recent record of the filly, a warning was issued.
SOAP OPERA– Post-race swab sample.
ARTEMIS MISSION– Inconvenienced in the first turn when RENEWAL was placed in restricted room and raced roughly.
GOLLY GEE FELLAS– Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the lead passing the 900 metres. Post-race swab sample.
RACE 10 – NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 4YO MARES FINAL (GROUP 3) – 1609 metres
ROLL WITH SLOY– Galloped out. After considering the recent record of the mare, a warning was issued.
SHEZ THE REASON- Pre-race blood sample. Broke stride during the early stages of the score up. After considering the recent record of the mare, a warning was issued.
NO DRAMAS- Pre-race blood sample.
LUDACROUS– Driver Will Rixon pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 170(4)(a), in that he allowed his right foot to drop from the sulky rest over the concluding stages and make contact with the hind leg of the mare. After considering the recent record of Mr Rixon, he was fined $300.
SAVEEON- Pre-race blood sample.
EYE KEEP SMILING- Pre-race blood sample. Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1100 metres. Driver Blake Fitzpatrick pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 156(2)(a), in that he had crossed his reins passing the 200 metres and applied the whip to the mare with a freehand. After considering the recent record of Mr Fitzpatrick, he was fined $200. Post-race swab sample.
