Mr Binskin advised Stewards he was satisfied with the performance of the gelding despite over racing when caught racing outside the leader. Mr Geary advised Stewards the gelding was new to the stable having only arrived after competing at Menangle the Saturday night previous and the stable was therefore still working out the gelding. Mr Geary advised stewards the gelding had been working well in preparation for tonight’s event however he was unable to find a forward position on the gelding and had to restrain to the tail of the field before having to make a wide run over the concluding stages.
