WAVETHEBILL NZ– Pre-race blood sample. Over raced before racing roughly passing the 500 metres. After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.
LETSROCKLETSROLL– Pre-race blood sample. Driver Declan Murphy was fined $100 under Rule 162(1)(j) for failing to maintain his position behind the mobile barrier prior to the start point.
DON LOU– Worked forward to the lead passing the 1100 metres. Post-race swab sample.
MAJOR PERRY NZ- Driver Harrison Ross was fined $100 under Rule 162(1)(j) for failing to maintain his position behind the mobile barrier prior to the start point.
TUPPENCE- Driver Darren Binskin was fined $100 under Rule 162(1)(j) for failing to maintain his position behind the mobile barrier prior to the start point.
RACE 4 – HAPPY 80TH BIRTHDAY DAVE AWPM LADYSHIP PACE – 1609 metres
PROMISELAND– Post-race swab sample.
MY MOONLITE DREAM NZ– Pre-race blood sample.
DRAGON TATOO NZ– Broke stride on two separate occasions during the score up. After considering the recent record of the mare, it was placed outside the mobile barrier draw. Broke stride free of interference passing the 600 metres checking MARIA ALLEGONDA NZ and inconveniencing SMOKESHOW and OUR BELLA LUCIA. After considering the recent record of the mare, it was given its last chance to race truly.
MARIA ALLEGONDA NZ– Checked passing the 600 metres when DRAGON TATTOO NZ broke stride.
SMOKESHOW– Inconvenienced passing the 600 metres when DRAGON TATTOO NZ broke stride.

RACE 5 – ALLCOTT HIRE JOE AND MICHAEL ILSLEY FFA – 2300 metres
NERANO NZ– Worked forward to the lead passing the 1700 metres. Post-race swab sample.
MAX DELIGHT– Driver Jack Trainor advised Stewards when he went to release deafeners approaching the 400 metres the deafener cord snapped in his hand and as a result he had no choice other than to lower his foot from the sulky rest to activate the deafeners.
ARDENS ACE NZ– Pre-race blood sample.
WHEREYABINBOPPIN– Pre-race blood sample. Hung in upon entry to the first turn. Worked forward to the lead passing the 1900 metres. Hung in and contacted marker pegs rounding the final turn. Driver James Rattray reported to stewards following the event that he sustained a flat off side sulky wheel passing the 350 metres. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
RACE 6 – PRYDE’S ENERGYPAK DOUBLE AGENT PACE – 1609 metres
ROCKNROLL SLOY– Pre-race blood sample.
NOVANTA RISING– Pre-race blood sample. Broke after the start and veered outwards checking TOOLIJOOA BEACH. After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.
TOOLIJOOA BEACH– Checked after the start. Checked upon entry to the first turn when DOUBLE FEAR broke stride as a result of the pace coming out of the event.
DOUBLE FEAR– Checked and broke upon entry to the first turn as a result of the pace of the event being slackened.
KITSUNE– Trainer Rickie Alchin was fined $100 under Rule 210 for the late notification of himself as the driver of the gelding. Checked upon entry to the first turn when DOUBLE FEAR was checked and broke as a result of the pace of the event being slackened. Over raced through the middle stages of the event before working forward to the lead passing the 800 metres.
AMERICAN SPIRIT– Post-race swab sample.
RACE 7 – TAB ROCKET GLENFERN TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres
THEBESTBOURBON– Pre-race blood sample. Driver Grant Forrest was reprimanded under Rule 170(1)(b) for dropping his left foot from the sulky rest when activating approved gear passing the 400 metres.
CHIEF RUNNINGCLOUD– Pre-race blood sample.
ROYAL DAN– Trainer Jason Grimson was fined $100 under Rule 210 for the late notification of Jack Trainor as the driver of the gelding. Worked forward to the lead passing the 1200 metres. Hung out between the 1000 metres and the 700 metres. After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued. Post-race swab sample.
CONSTANTINOPLE– Commenced to pace passing the 400 metres before being broken up shortly thereafter by Driver Jack Callaghan. After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed it to have a small laceration on the off side fore heel bulb. Acting on the advice of the on course veterinarian, no further action was required.
RACE 8 – SUMMERTIME PREMIUM POULTRY PACE – 1609 metres
ASHARK– Worked forward to the lead passing the 1300 metres.
JOE NIEN– Post-race swab sample.
SAHARA SIROCCO– Pre-race blood sample.
