RACE 1 – NATIONALTROTGUIDE.COM.AU TROTTERS MOBILE – 2300 metres

ALDEBARAN SUSANNE– Passing the 1800 metres became unbalanced and broke gait. After resuming its correct gait and trotting for a short distance ALDEBARAN SUSANNE broke gait on a second occasion and lost significant ground. Connections were advised ALDEBARAN SUSANNE would be stood down from racing until it completes one satisfactory trial.

MY ULTIMATE SUNNY– Post-race swab sample.

TARENTAISE– Broke gait at the start. A warning was issued.

KARAKAJACK TOOTH– Pre-race blood sample.

WE CAN HAVE IT ALL– Passing the 400 metres became unbalanced and broke gait. A warning was issued.

YOUNG SON– Shortly after the start became unbalanced and broke gait. A warning was issued.

KYVALLEY FINN– Tired significantly over the concluding stages to be beaten 84 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. Connections were unable to provide an explanation for the gelding’s performance and indicated they were disappointed as KYVALLEY FINN had been racing relatively consistently. Given the margin between runners at the finish, despite the 84 metre beaten margin, Stewards determined KYVALLEY FINN would be placed on its last chance to race truly for what was deemed to be an unsatisfactory performance.

YUKOND ME NZ– Out of position at the candy pole prior to the start and will continue to be excluded from the mobile barrier draw for the immediate future. Racing between the 500 metres and the 300 metres was inclined to hang in and contacted multiple marker pegs. A warning was issued.

 

RACE 2 – WARDS ACCOUNTING GROUP TROTTERS MOBILE – 2300 metres

RAZZLEME DAZZLEME– Tired significantly over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. Trainer/Driver G Forrest was advised a warning would be issued for what was deemed to be an unsatisfactory performance.

MELPARK MAGIC– Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines. No abnormalities were detected. Leaving the 600 metres commenced to be hampered by the weakening WYNBERG WATCH NZ. This continued until passing the 400 metres. When MELPARK MAGIC was able to shift out and improve around WYNBERG WATCH NZ, the gelding was inclined to race roughly and failed to run on over the concluding stages. A warning was placed on MELPARK MAGIC.

FLASH KYVALLEY– Leaving the 600 metres was hampered by the tiring WYNBERG WATCH NZ. This continued until passing the 400 metres at which point FLASH KYVALLEY was able to shift out around that runner. FLASH KYVALLEY continued to improve over the concluding stages.

VALLEY STAR NZ– Pre-race blood sample.

AFFAIRE DE COVER– Post-race swab sample.

WYNBERG WATCH NZ– Out of position at the candy pole prior to the start. Continued to be excluded from the mobile barrier draw for the immediate future. Lead the event and leaving the 600 metres commenced to weaken and tire significantly over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an elevated heart rate and slower than normal recovery. Driver L Rando explained he was not afforded any firm instructions however it was always his intention to take up a forward position.  L Rando added he believed the best way to drive the gelding was to allow him to free roll in front and despite the tempo of today’s event he believed the gelding was disappointing. L Rando’s comments were noted. Connections were advised WYNBERG WATCH NZ would be stood down from racing until it completes one satisfactory trial for hat was deemed to be an unsatisfactory performance.

SPEEDY LOVER– Out of position at the start and will continue to be excluded from the mobile barrier draw for the immediate future.  

 

RACE 3 – ULTRA AIR PACE – 1609 metres

WILLROBY– Unable to secure clear running until passing the 200 metres.

OJENNY MAY– Post-race swab sample.

SPECIALIZE LOU– Raced three wide during the early stages before working forward near the 1200 metres.

KNOCKAWARWON NZ– Inclined to hang out and approaching the 200 metres had to be steadied away from the near side wheel of ROCKETON which shifted in slightly.

GROSSO NASSO– Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 4 – HYLAND HARNESS COLOURS PACE – 1609 metres

THE GOLDEN CROSS NZ- Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines. No abnormalities were detected. Passing the 50 metres had to be steadied away from HALLOWEEN when that runner was checked and raced roughly.

ALL STAR MAGICIAN– Held up for clear running for the majority of the home straight and near the 50 metres was bumped by HALLOWEEN which shifted out.

JUST ROCKNROLL– Unable to secure clear running at any stage of the home straight and was not fully tested.

KATLAS DREAM- Post-race swab sample.

HALLOWEEN– Inclined to lay in in the early stages of the home straight and near the 100 metres commenced to shift out when being corrected by its driver. Subsequently near the 50 metres HALLOWEEN bumped with ALL STAR MAGICIAN which was endeavouring to obtain clear running to the inside of KATLAS DREAM. Driver J Callaghan was issued a reprimand under Rule 168 (1)(a) for careless driving in that he failed to make sufficient effort to keep his runner in a relatively straight line over the concluding stages.

AERODYNE GUY– Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 5 – TIGER TARA @ MEDOWIE LODGE LADYSHIP PACE – 1609 metres

ALL NIGHT LONG NZ– Tired over the concluding stages.

MINI MINE YET NZ– Post-race blood sample.

SKYE MARY MAC NZ– Pre-race blood sample.

GET UP BETTY– Out of position at the start. Driver W Rixon was fined the sum of $50 under Rule 162(1)(j). Improved three wide during the middle stages before working forward to the position outside the leader near the 800 metres.

 

RACE 6 – FARMERS JOES FOOD SERVICES PACE – 1609 metres

KISSMEELVIS– Pre-race blood sample.

SOME CHEVRON NZ– Had difficulty securing clear running in the latter stages of the home straight and was not fully tested.

BE MY GIRL– Unable to secure clear running at any stage during the home straight and was not fully tested.

PARALLEL– Held up for clear running until approaching the 50 metres. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 7 – ACCESS SECURITY PROTECTION SERVICES PACE – 1609 metres

BOLERO– Post-race swab sample.

WAMBOYNEINAMERICA– Broke gait during the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was issued. Unable to secure clear running at any stage in the home straight and was not fully tested.

THERES WALLY– Pre-race blood sample.

EXPLOSIVE BRONSKI– Caught wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field.

 

RACE 8 – CONDELL PARK PRODUCE PACE – 1609 metres

LETTUCE NIPYA– Pre-race blood sample. Near the 300 metres obtained a run to the inside of AMERICAN HAMMER NZ which shifted out.  Post-race swab sample.

BARA RILEY– Unable to secure clear running at any stage in the home straight and was not fully tested.

AMERICAN HAMMER NZ– Shifted out leaving the 350 metres which afforded LETTUCE NIPYA a run to the inside. Driver L Rando was questioned regarding the tactics employed on AMERICAN HAMMER NZ and the handling of his runner during the event. After considering L Rando’s evidence and review of the films, Stewards determined to adjourn the matter to a date and time to be fixed in order to afford them an opportunity to review wagering on the event.

 

RACE 9 – ALLIED EXPRESS TAXI TRUCK SERVICES PACE – 1609 metres

FORCE FULL– Unable to secure clear running at any stage in the home straight and was not fully tested.

VINKE B NZ– Post-race swab sample.

EL CAMINO– Pre-race blood sample.

BETTORS HOPE– Re-included into the mobile barrier draw.
