Trainers with multiple runners in any one race were questioned in relation to their intended tactics.

RACE 1 – BWC CIVIL & EARTHMOVING TROT (2116SS)

THE HONOURS NZ (W Price) – Broke gait racing in the back straight on the first occasion. A warning was placed against the gelding’s racing manners. Trailed the field thereafter and took no competitive part.

THE BEAT NZ (G Johnson) – Broke gait racing out of the front straight on the first occasion. Trailed the field thereafter and took no competitive part. Will be stood down from racing for a period of 6 days and until such time as the completion of 1 satisfactory re-qualifying trial.

TILTHESUNSETS NZ (T Lynn) – Commenced to give ground in the vicinity of the 600m to be beaten 89 metres. A warning was placed against the gelding’s racing performance.

SUNNYS LITTLE ROSE (C Voak) – Inconvenienced racing out of the front straight on the first occasion. Shifted outwards under pressure racing in the front straight on the final occasion.

MAJESTIC MARION (K Harper) – Inconvenienced racing out of the front straight on the first occasion. Commenced to give ground in the vicinity of the 400m to be beaten 57 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

RACE 2 – TUCKEY'S MITRE 10 PINJARRA 2YO PACE (1684MS)

MICKEY BE SWIFT (S McDonald) – Raced roughly under pressure in the front straight on the final occasion.

SHOOBEES DOUBLE (A De Campo) – Broke gait after the start was effected. Will be placed outside the draw in future mobile barrier events. Trailed the field thereafter and took no competitive part.

AGENT ANDY (T Wheeler) – Broke gait after the start was effected. Will be placed outside the draw in future mobile barrier events. Trailed the field thereafter and took no competitive part.

CONSIGLIERE (C Lewis) – Raced greenly in the score up and was out of position as the start was effected. A warning was placed against the gelding’s barrier manners. Inconvenienced shortly after the start was effected. Inclined to race greenly throughout trailing the field and took no competitive part. A warning was placed against the gelding’s racing performance.

RACE 3 – BATTERY FORCE FURNISSDALE 3YO PACE (2185MS)

I CROSS MY HEART (M Miller) – Held up for clear running in the latter stages of the home straight.

SWITCH BLADE (T Wheeler) – Commenced to give ground in the vicinity of the 400m to be beaten 30 metres.

ROCKNROLL SLOY (S Suvaljko) – Held up for clear running in the latter stages of the home straight.

RACE 4 – CLARK RUBBER HALLS HEAD PACE (1684MS)

IDEALINCIDER (T Lynn) – Raced roughly shortly after the start was effected. A warning was placed against the gelding’s barrier manners.

DELIGHTABLE NZ (T Wheeler) – Driver T Wheeler was shown a section of the official patrol footage when racing out of the back straight on the first occasion and was advised to afford runners more room when shifting ground.  

THE BIG IRON (C Lewis) – Out of position as the start was effected. A warning was placed against the horse’s barrier manners. Raced roughly shortly after the start was effected. Difficulty maintaining a position with the balance of the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

COUNT BOSCAR (M Miller) – Broke gait under pressure racing in the front straight on the final occasion. Will be stood down from racing for a period of 6 days and until such time as the completion of 1 satisfactory re-qualifying trial.

RACE 5 – CREATIVE BLINDS MANDURAH LIGHTNING LAP PACE (1177MS)

AGENT BOOTH (M Miller) – Was a late scratching at 2.27pm after a pre-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have swelling in the near fore tendon. Will be stood down from racing for a period of 7 days and until such time as a Veterinary Certificate of soundness can be provided.

SUB MARINER (K Symington) – Raced roughly under pressure in the front straight on the final occasion.

ROCKIN LE MONDE (C Voak) – Driver C Voak was fined $200 under the provisions of HR156(2)(a) for using the whip in more than a flicking motion.

ITS JUSTA SHOTAWAY (M Brown) – Driver M Brown was reprimanded under the provisions of HR156(2)(a) for using the whip in more than a flicking motion.

RACE 6 – TYREPOWER PINJARRA PACE (2185MS)

CAPTAINS BEACHBABE (K Harper) – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start after the mare competed in Race 4 at Collie on the 20/10/2024. At the request of Trainer T Ferguson, Stewards approved the mare to race in a hood and the removal of an open bridal. This information was disseminated.

TANTABIDDI (M Miller) – Hung outwards under pressure having to be corrected by the driver on numerous occasions in the front straight on the final occasion.

BLAZE COOPS (D Egerton-Green) – Over-raced through the early and middle stages of the event. Driver D Egerton-Green advised that he elected to allow the mare to maintain a consistent tempo through the middle stages stating that it was his opinion that attempting to restrain would be detrimental to the mare’s performance based off its recent form. Stewards noted Mr Egerton-Green’s comments.

RACE 7 – AUTO ONE PINJARRA LIGHTNING LAP PACE (1177MS)

SPORTING GRACE (D Harper) – Returned having cast the off-hind plate.

SHES A LUCKY PENNY (A Vidovich) – Hung inwards in the score up.

RACE 8 – WESTCOAST POWER EQUIPMENT PACE (2116SS)

CHILLI PUNTER (K Symington) – Galloped out. A warning was placed against the filly’s standing start manners.

AMERICAN CRUISE NZ (M Miller) – Broke shortly after the start was effected. A warning was placed against the gelding’s barriers manners.

DUTY BOUND NZ (C Lewis) – Raced roughly shortly after the start was effected.
