RWWA STEWARDS’ SUMMARY REPORT
MEETING HELD AT PINJARRA ON MONDAY 1 DECEMBER 2025.
Weather: Fine Track: Good

Starters: K Reeves (Starter/Gear), K Bailey (Driver/Brands)
Trainers with multiple runners in any one race were questioned in relation to their intended tactics.
RACE 1 – BWC CIVIL & EARTHMOVING TROT (2185MS)
The start was abandoned at the first attempt when MRIYA DREAM (G Johnson) refused to score up resulting in a delay of approximately 2 and a half minutes.
TILTHESUNSETS NZ (T Lynn) - Gave ground from the 400m to be beaten approximately 97.2m. A warning was placed against the gelding’s performance.
MRIYA DREAM (G Johnson) - Refused to score up delaying the start at the first attempt. The gelding was placed on its last chance in the mobile draw.
GRUMPEE (A De Campo) - Broke gait leaving the back straight on the final occasion. Driver Mr A De Campo reported that the head check broke in running. This piece of gear was inspected and found to be in good order, and no further action was taken.
RACE 2 – DE ROSA HIGHWAY MOTORS 3YO WESTBRED PACE (2185MS)
ROCKNROL DILINGER (B Johnson) - Gave ground from the 600m to be beaten approximately 99.4m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Driver Mr B Johnson put forward that the filly's knee boots dropped shortly after the start which adversely affected its performance. The knee boots were subsequently found to be in good condition. A warning was placed against the filly’s performance.
RACE 3 – HI-PERFORMANCE PACE LIGHTNING LAP PACE (1177MS)
MERLINS ILLUSION –Trainer Mr R Mathews reported his concerns to Stewards when arriving at the track that the gelding had not travelled well during transit to the course due to the hot weather conditions. A veterinary examination found no significant abnormalities, however Stewards granted permission for the gelding to be withdrawn at 1.22pm under the hot weather policy.
WRITTENINTHESKY (S Suvaljko) - Galloped out as the start was effected. The mare will now be placed outside the draw in future mobile barrier events.
YOU FLY WITH ME NZ (A Markham) - Inconvenienced after the start when KARAOKE STAR (K Madden) hung outwards. Raced roughly under pressure in the front straight on the final occasion.
IDEAL SECRET (K Harper) - Trainer Mr R Abercromby was interviewed regarding the gelding's performance, and he advised that from the draw it was difficult for the gelding to find a forward position. Further, Mr Abercromby undertook to notify Stewards in the coming days if any abnormalities arise.
RACE 4 – DWYER ENGINEERING HARVEY PACE (2185MS)
No racing incidents to report.
RACE 5 – TR NUTRITION PACE LIGHTNING LAP PACE (1177MS)
SHES A DACTYL (A Hiltunen) - Broke gait leaving the front straight on the first occasion. The mare is now stood down from racing for a period of 6 days and until the completion of a satisfactory requalifying trial.
SUNPATRA (A De Campo) - Checked leaving the front straight on the first occasion.
STIRUP IRON JACK (S Suvaljko) - Severely checked leaving the front straight on the first occasion.
RACE 6 – GREENHOUSE REALTY PACE (1684MS)
DENNINGTON HEIGHTS (K Madden) - Not in position at the candy pole. A warning was placed against the gelding's starting manner. Driver K Madden reported that the murphy blind became detached shortly after the start with the gelding pulling hard in the score up and throughout running.
CLASSNSMART (A Suvaljko) - Driver A Suvaljko was cautioned under HR162(1)(i) for being out of position at the start.
General: Driver A Markham (THE ULTIMATE BEACH) was fined $200 under HR156(2)(a) for using his whip/reins in more than a wrist only flicking motion.
Driver E Suvaljko (ECLIPSE LINE) was fined $200 under HR156(2)(a) for using her whip in more than a wrist only flicking motion.
RACE 7 – GANNONS SPORTSWEAR & TROPHIES PACE (2185MS)
No racing incidents to report.
RACE 8 – INFINITI GROUP PACE (2185MS)
TELL ITIN HEAVEN (S Simms) - Raced roughly entering the front straight on the final occasion. A warning was placed against the gelding's racing manners.
General: Driver A Vidovich (KOLISI) was fined $100 under HR168(1)(a) for careless driving for shifting to the one wide line leaving the back straight on the final occasion and contacting the wheel of BURGHLEY SHARD NZ (C Suvaljko) causing her drive to race roughly.
Trainer P Duggan was fined $50 under HR273(5)(b) for presenting HOTFOOT IT with incorrect gear (Dolly Vardon Blinkers-On).
