Trainers with multiple runners in any one race were questioned in relation to their intended tactics.

RACE 1 – TABTOUCH PLACE A SAME RACE MULTI PACE (2190MS)

CHRISTOPHANO (T Stampalia) – Over raced in the early to mid-stages of the event.

TWOHEARTONEDIAMOND (J Rigoli) – Utilised the sprint lane over the concluding stages.

RACE 2 – TABTOUCH SCAN MY BET PACE (2190MS)

CROWDED REACTOR (S McDonald) – Broke gait leaving the back straight shortly after the start. Will be stood down from racing for a period of 6 days and until such time as the completion of 1 satisfactory re-qualifying trial. Trailed the field thereafter.

ZUEDE (S Suvaljko) – Driver S Suvaljko was fined $200 under the provisions of rule 156(2)(a) for using his whip in more than a wrist only action.

General: Trainer H Reeves was fined $50 under the provisions of AHR rule 210 for failing to nominate a Driver for IMMACHULATE by the required time.

RACE 3 – YOU'VE GOT THE TABTOUCH PACE (2190MS)

MERLINS ILLUSION (J Rigoli) – Displaced an off side knee boot during the running of the event.

ALTACHAERA (M Miller) – Broke gait leaving the back straight shortly after the start. Will be placed out of the draw for future mobile events.

JUST ALL STYLE (H Charles) – Driver H Charles was questioned with regards to the tactics he adopted in this event specifically a mid-race move he made to challenge for the lead, Mr Charles put forward the mare was contacting its own sulky and as a result was over racing hence his mid-way move to attempt to take the front. Mr Charles put forward that in hindsight he may have erred.

RACE 4 – TABTOUCH HAVE YOU GOT THE TOUCH PACE (2190MS)

EYE BETTER (J Suvaljko) – Over raced in the early to mid-stages.

RACE 5 – TABTOUCH NORTH EASTERN DISTRICTS COUNCIL DERBY (2190MS)

Late scratching CODENAME ELLIOT could not be caught. Will be stood down from racing for a period of 14 days.

No racing incidents to report.

RACE 6 – TABTOUCH SUPPORTS NORTHAM HARNESS PACE (2190MS)

BELLA RAGAZZA (K Symington) – Driver K Symington reported an off side flat tyre during the running of this event placing it at some disadvantage.

General: Stewards held up All Clear and entertained a protest from the Driver of the fourth placed horse BELLA RAGAZZA (K Symington) against the third placed horse SPUDMEISTER (H Charles) alleging contact to the off side wheel and sustaining a flat tyre at approximately the 400m. After taking submissions from both drivers and acting on live observations from the Steward at the 400m and the multiple camera angles, Stewards could not be confident that BELLA RAGAZZA’s off side tyre was flattened by SPUDMEISTER and subsequently dismissed the protest. Giving all clear on the numbers 3-2-6-7.

RACE 7 – TABTOUCH SHARE MY BET PACE (2150SS)

MONEY TIME MADNESS (K Harper) – Galloped out. A warning was placed against its standing start manners.

JACK MANNIX (C Peterson) – Raced rough after the start.

ADDA PARIS (T Bryant) – Was flat footed and broke after the start. Will remain outside the draw in future standing starts.

CODENAME MARCUS (A Markham) – Was slow out. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an atrial fibrillation. Willl be stood down from racing pending a Veterinary clearance with an ECG report and for a period of 14 days and until such time as the completion of  1 satisfactory re-qualifying trial.
