RACE 1 – LET US HOST YOUR CHRISTMAS FUNCTION 3YO WESTBRED PACE (2242MS)
BUSHBELLE (H. Charles) – Returned with blood in the mouth. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly had lost a tooth.
IM ROCKIN ROD (J. Justins) – Broke gait in the score up and was not in position at the candy pole. A warning was placed against the gelding’s barrier manners. Broke gait after the start was effected.
SHADRACH (T. Wheeler) – Held up for clear running in the early stages of the home straight. Driver T. Wheeler was shown a section of the official patrol footage and reminded of his obligation when attempting to shift ground.
SPEEDFORCE (D. Miller) – Held up for clear running in the latter stages of the home straight. Returned with blood in the mouth. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding may have lost a tooth.
General: Stewards enquired into the reason that IM ROCKIN ROD (J. Justins) broke gait after the start was effected. After taking evidence from Driver J. Justins, RWWA starters and viewing the official patrol footage it was established that as IM ROCKIN ROD was looking to gain a forward position the mobile didn’t accelerate as normal, causing Mr Justins to check his drive resulting in the gelding breaking gait. Considering all evidence, no action was taken.
RACE 2 – REVHEADS NARROGIN 18-20 NOVEMBER 4YO+ WESTBRED PACE (1823MS)

RACE 6 – TABTOUCH YOU’VE GOT THE TOUCH PACE (2636SS)
A false start was called when AMERICAN VOODOO (H. Hancock) delayed the start and MEGA MACH (E. Johnson) became fractious and reared. Subsequently MEGA MACH was placed right outside the draw for the recommencement of the event.
Stewards held up the All Clear and advised patrons to hold all tickets to view the official patrol film and interview the driver of MEGA MACH (E. Johnson) to ascertain whether it was afforded a fair start. After considering all evidence, Stewards were satisfied that MEGA MACH was not denied a fair start to the extent of declaring it a non-starter subject to HR141(1) and the All Clear was given on the judge’s numbers of 4,6,2,7.
WHISKY NEAT NZ (M. Ferguson) – Broke gait after the start was effected. A warning was placed on the mare’s barrier manners. Broke gait racing in the back straight on the final occasion. MANOFTHEPEOPLE (K. Elliott) – Held up for clearing running for the entire home straight.
RACE 7 – THE TROT WA – HARNESS THE DREAM PACE (2242MS)
SWEETDREAM TRUNKEY (C. Playle) - When questioned in relation to his driving tactics where the mare was obligated to race in the 3 wide line throughout, Driver C. Playle advised that at its previous start he had elected to restrain to the rear from a similar position and believed it would be detrimental to the mare to adopt the same tactics. Further Mr Playle stated that connections were of the opinion the mare was best driven in a positive manner and endeavoured to find a forward spot as it had been performing poorly driven conservatively. Stewards noted the comments.
