RACE 1 – HRNSW 2YO TROTTERS FOUNDATION HEAT 4 - 1609metres

SAINT EYES – Slow to begin. Near the 500 metres became unbalanced and galloped. A warning was issued.

DREAMBIGAIMHIGH – Near the 400 metres became unbalanced and galloped. A warning was issued.

ONE PINEVALE HILL – Broke after the start. Will now be placed outside the draw in future mobile starts.

DUTCH TEACHER – Trainer J. Rattray was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to lodge a gear form for the filly.

UPTOWN LAD – Pre-race blood sample. Broke in the score up and caused a false start. A warning was issued. Post-race swab sample.

VITELLIUS – Trainer B. Fitzpatrick was reprimanded under Rule 41(1) for presenting his runners 4 minutes late to the stabling area. Driver B. Fitzpatrick was fined $50 under Rule 162(1)(h) for failing to come into position at the start.

BURKHARDT NZ – Trainer B. Fitzpatrick was fined $50 under Rule 273(6)(b) for presenting the colt with incorrect gear.

RACE 2 – AGNES BANKS PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT TROTTERS MOBILE - 1609metres

FLORENCITA – Pre-race blood sample. Near the 200 metres became unbalanced and galloped. A warning was issued.

THE GOLD STANDARD – Trainer E. Heath was reprimanded under Rule 41(1) for the late arrival on course.

THEBESTBOURBON – Post-race swab sample.

STRENGTH OF HEART NZ – Galloped out at the start. A warning was issued.

AGENT MAORI – Trainer K. Morris was fined $100 under Rule 210 for the late declaration of driver. Out of position at the start. A warning was issued.

RACE 3 – CONDELL PARK PRODUCE TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609metres

MAJESTIC TRIO – Post-race swab sample.

DANCE SECRET – Was declared a late withdraw at 1.45pm on veterinary advice after taking charge of Driver S. Arvidsson and galloping a lap of the track before being recaptured near the 600 metres. When being recaptured the gelding contacted the outside fence resulting in Driver S. Arvidsson being dislodged from the sulky. Driver S. Arvidsson was assessed by the medical officers and cleared to fulfil her remaining engagement.

MAJOR THOMAS – Pre-race blood sample.

FOX TROT HILL – Galloped out at the start. A warning was issued.

SIMULANT – Near the 600 metres became unbalanced and galloped. A warning was issued.

RACE 4 – WARRAWEE NEEDY @ YIRRIBEE STUD PACE – 1609metres

KINGOFGLITTER – Trainer K. Morris was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to lodge a gear form for the colt.

PARALLEL – Trainer K. Morris was fined $100 under Rule 210 for the late declaration of driver. Post-race swab sample.

IMFEELINGIT – Tired from the 500 metres to be beaten 47 metres. Driver J. Brown advised that the gelding wasn’t suited to racing outside the leader throughout the event and had a tendency to hang in at various stages.

R N R BEACH NZ – Late scratching at 1.55pm due to late arrival on course. At a subsequent inquiry Trainer D. Atkinson pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 41(1) for failing to present the gelding on course 60 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the event. Trainer D. Atkinson was fined $200.

A REAL GENTLEMAN – Raced roughly approaching the first turn.

RACE 5 – IRT HORSE TRANSPORT PACE – 1609metres

LAST TIME JOE – Raced roughly approaching the first turn.

YARRAMAN MARKLE – Trainer K. Pizzuto was reprimanded under Rule 41(1) for presenting the mare late on course. Galloped out at the start. A warning was issued.

BLUE STONE – Raced roughly after the start. A warning was issued. Held up for clear running for the majority of the home straight.

OUTSIDE FIGHTER – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

RACE 6 – AQUAGAIT EQUINE CENTRE PACE – 1609metres

DANCINGINTHEDARK – Pre-race blood sample.

SOVIET STUNNER – Post-race swab sample.

INCOGNITO – Stewards questioned Driver D. Binskin in regards to the performance of the gelding. D. Binskin advised that at the gelding’s previous starts it has been taken into the race with cover and been able to obtain clear running in the home straight and finish the race off well however in today’s event the gelding wasn’t suited to making a run wider on the track earlier then he would have liked. D. Binskin further added that when he placed the gelding under pressure it failed to respond to his driving and in his opinion was slightly disappointing. Stewards noted the comments.

RACE 7 – BREED YOUR MARE AT SUCCESS STUD LADYSHIP PACE – 1609metres

ALLAMBIE – Galloped out at the start. A warning was issued.

LOOKATTHEBEACH – Shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages of the event. Post-race swab sample.

ORCHID STRIDE – Raced in restricted room over the final 80 metres when racing between LOOKATTHEBEACH which shifted out slightly and KABIBI which shifted in.

KABIBI – Driver J. Rattray was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference in that near the 50 metres he failed to make sufficient effort from preventing his runner from shifting in resulting in ORCHID STRDIE being tightened for racing room.

RACE 8 – MAINTAIN YOUR INDEPENDENCE WITH EVEKARE PACE – 1609metres

MAHOMES – Post-race swab sample.

WATCHMEDAZZLE – Pre-race blood sample.

POLKA DELIGHT – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages of the event.

RACE 9 – ALLIED EXPRESS COURIER SERVICES PACE – 1609metres

ZAMBIA – Post-race swab sample.

BURNS BAY – Stable representative W. Rixon was reprimanded under Rule 41(1) for failing to present the gelding on course by the prescribed time.

MY ULTIMATE ANDY NZ – Post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities other than that the gelding had cast an off fore plate.

GLIDING AWAY NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

THE TEXAS RAIDER – Near the 600 metres became unbalanced and galloped. The gelding then raced roughly for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. The gelding will be placed on its last chance to race truly. Trainer B. Hewitt advised that the gelding will now be sent for a spell. In view of this advice the gelding will be stood down for a period of 28 days.
