YOURDOINAMAZINSWEETY NZ (L Harper) – Had a tendency to lay inwards throughout.
GALVINSTON JOHN (H Charles) – Held tight and contacted several marker pegs on the home turn on the final occasion.
RACE 2 – THE WEST AUSTRALIAN (DIV.2) PACE (2130MS)
VINTAGE BLU (G Hall Jnr) – Hung outwards under pressure over the concluding stages.
MINOR CATASTROPHE (E Suvaljko) – Obtained an inside run.
RACE 3 – ENTERTAINMENT WITH HORSEPOWER (DIV.1) PACE (2130MS)
MAJOR JAY NZ (N Turvey) – Hung outwards under pressure over the concluding stages.

THATS NOT MY GAIT (T Wheeler) – Failed to obtain its position behind the barriers despite the driver’s efforts. The mare will remain excluded from the mobile barrier draw.
RACE 6 – YOU'VE GOT THE TOUCH WITH TABTOUCH (DIV.1) PACE (1730MS)
PRIME MOVER NZ (S Suvaljko) – Driver S Suvaljko requested and was granted permission to attach a lugging pole to the gelding’s gear after it was hanging inwards throughout its preliminary.
RACE 7 – NYE AT GLOUCESTER PARK 3YO PACE (2130MS)
CHIEF COPY (H Charles) – Hung inwards in the score up.
RACE 8 – CATALANO TRUCK & EQUIPMENT SALES 2YO FILLIES PACE (2130MS)
This race was delayed by approximately three minute after the announcer reported that RUIA NZ (C Lewis) had the incorrect saddle cloth number in the pre-liminary. The saddle cloth was quickly replaced by the clerk of the course. Trainer B Howlett subsequently pleaded guilty to a charge under HR273(6)(a) for presenting the filly with the incorrect saddle cloth and was fined $200.
ITS MAA TIME (A De Campo) – Broke gait in the later stages of the score up and was out of position as the start was effected. Excluded from the mobile barrier draw.
VICIOUSLY UNKIND (E Suvaljko) – Severely checked behind a galloping runner when racing in the back straight on the final occasion.
BONPOPPY (S Suvaljko) – Cast its near hind plate and subsequently broke gait when racing in the back straight on the final occasion. As the vision clearly showed the plate becoming detached at the time the filly broke, no action was taken.
WESMEDAD (G Hall Jnr) – Gave ground over the final 400 metres.
RACE 9 – 7MATE (DIV.2) PACE (1730MS)
THIS TIME JACKO (J Filardo) – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages.
General: Driver B Smith (VISITING HOURS) was fined $200 under HR156(2)(a) for using his whip in more than a flicking motion.
