RWWA STEWARDS’ SUMMARY REPORT
MEETING HELD AT GLOUCESTER PARK ON TUESDAY 25 NOVEMBER 2025

Trainers with multiple runners in any one race were questioned in relation to their intended tactics.
RACE 1 – FREE ENTRY AT GLOUCESTER PARK PACE (1730MS)
WANDERIN STAR (V Stampalia) - Hung outwards under pressure in the home straight.
ELIZABTH AITCH (C Lewis) - Out of position at the start and will continue to be placed outside the draw for future mobile barrier events.
RACE 2 – BOOK INTO STEELO’S TONIGHT MARES PACE (2130MS)
BOLD JACKIE (C Suvaljko) - In relation to the apparent improved performance, Driver C Suvaljko advised the mare enjoyed a more favourable run in comparison to its last start at Northam on 15th November, where it had to attempt to improve wide, whereas today it was able to improve inside runners, with the last quarter of the last mile being run in 31 seconds, which allowed it to make ground.
General: Driver A Vidovich (LIQUIDATOR) fined $100 under HR162(1)(www) for allowing her drive to shift ground in a manner which advantaged another runner.
RACE 3 – BOOK YOUR CHRISTMAS PARTY AT GLOUCESTER PARK PACE (2130MS)
UNLUCKY (L Harper) - Trainer advised the mare was showing signs of being in season and this information was disseminated. Further, cast a front plate in the stall area and subsequently had the other front plate removed to race bare in front and underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start.
General: Driver C Voak (MY SILVER SPOON NZ) fined $200 under HR156(2)(a) for using his whip in more than a flicking motion.
RACE 4 – NEW YEARS EVE AT GLOUCESTER PARK WESTBRED PACE (2130MS)
MARBEECHSAM was a late withdrawal at 11:33am when Trainer Mr M Beech advised that upon inspection of the gelding, it had swelling to its head and throat area. Upon further examination by the stable veterinarian, it was established the gelding had an abscess in its mouth. Will be stood down from racing for 28 days, which will be reduced to 7 days pending a veterinary clearance.
RACE 5 – $9 PINTS EVERY FRIDAY IN STEELO’S OR JP’S PACE (2130MS)
CHERRY ON THE CAKE was a late withdrawal by Stewards at 6:25pm acting on veterinary advice when the mare underwent a pre-race veterinary examination shortly after entering the parade ring and was found to be lame in its off hind. The mare will be stood down from racing for 7 days and pending a veterinary clearance.
MISTA EDITORIAL NZ (D Harper) - Out of position at the start and a warning was issued.
LETS ROCK TONIGHT (J Suvaljko) - Out of position at the start and a warning was issued. Returned with traces of blood in its off nostril. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an abrasion to the horses off nostril which was the reason for blood being present and in the circumstances, no further action was taken against the horse.
RACE 6 – TROTSYND- JOIN THE FUN PACE (2130MS)
No racing incidents to report.
RACE 7 – NEW MENUS TONIGHT IN STEELO’S PACE (2130MS)
LUCY VICTORIA (K Harper) - Broke gait in the early stages of the score up and was out of position as the start was effected, trailing the field throughout. Will now be placed outside the draw for future mobile barrier events.
EASTERN ADVANCE (T Nally) - Commenced to give ground from the 400m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer will be contacted regarding the recovery of the gelding.
RACE 8 – TABTOUCH WA PACING CUP- 12TH DECEMBER 3YO PACE (2130MS)
MAJOR MIKI WHITBY (D Egerton-Green) - In relation to the performance, Trainer/Driver advised the gelding raced in a flat manner throughout and may be coming to the end of its preparation and would now be sent for a spell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
RACE 9 – RAC MEMBERS SAVE 5% EVERY DAY AT RETRAVISION 2YO FILLIES PACE (1730MS)
TORREVEAN ENVY ME (C Voak) - Raced roughly in the latter stages of the score up and a warning was issued in relation to the filly's barrier manners. Severely checked by a galloping runner and broke gait shortly after the start.
STAYCATION (D Miller) - Broke gait after the start and shortly after was retired from the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a self-inflicted laceration to the near fore tendon with the filly receiving immediate on course veterinary treatment. Will be stood down from racing or trialling pending a veterinary clearance and the completion of one satisfactory re-qualifying trial. Trainer will be contacted in relation to the filly’s recovery.
