RACE 1 – QUAYSIDE TRANSPORT 3YO PACE (2536MS)
RAJAH ROCKS (A De Campo) - Broke gait shortly after the start when contacting the offside sulky wheel of SOHO SKYFALL (M Miller).
QUINTON (S Suvaljko) – Broke gait at the start. The gelding will now be placed out of the draw for future mobile start events. Returned having broken its one-legged spreader.
JIMMY ROCKS (S McDonald) – Checked shortly after the start.
General: Driver A De Campo (RAJAH ROCKS) was fined $200 for careless driving under HR168(1)(a) for contacting the offside sulky wheel of SOHO SKYFALL (M Miller) shortly after the start causing it to break gait with JIMMY ROCKS (S McDonald) being checked in consequence.
RACE 2 – CASH CONVERTERS PACE (1730MS)
No racing incidents to report.
RACE 3 – MOONSTREAM INFORMATION SERVICES (DIV.2) PACE (2130MS)
MASTER LEIGHTON (T Wheeler) - Contacted the offside sulky wheel of CLASSIC CHOICE NZ (A De Campo) in the front straight on the final occasion. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed no injuries to its forelegs.
FLYING RUMOUR (S Suvaljko) – Gave ground from the 400m. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed nothing amiss. Trainer Mr M Reed advised that the gelding was not suited racing outside the leader throughout which had contributed to the unplaced performance.
General: An inquiry was held into the reason for MASTER LEIGHTON (T Wheeler) contacting the offside sulky wheel of CLASSIC CHOICE NZ (A De Campo) and racing roughly in the front straight on the final occasion. It was established that as PIERRE WHITBY (C Lewis) moved outwards, CLASSISC CHOICE NZ, which was racing to its outside, shifted outwards marginally as MASTER LEIGHTON hung inwards which caused it to contact to the sulky wheel of CLASSIC CHOICE and race roughly. Stewards were of the opinion that the incident resulted from a number of contributing factors with no driver deemed to have been careless and consequently no further action was taken.
RACE 4 – CLEVERSURE INSURANCE (DIV.1) PACE (2130MS)
No racing incidents to report.
RACE 5 – ROTARY CLUB OF FREMANTLE PACE (2536MS)

SOHO CONFIDENTIAL (S Suvaljko) - Gave ground from the 500m. A post-race veterinary examination of the horse revealed an elevated heart rate.
RACE 8 – ROTARY CLUB OF FREMANTLE PACE (2130MS)
THREE RUMOURS NZ (E Suvaljko) – Raced roughly in the back straight on the final occasion when locking sulky stays with SOVRANA (A De Campo) which was taken outwards.
RACE 9 – SANTOSH CONTACT CARE PACE (2130MS)
General; Driver M Brown (MANDOWN NZ) was reprimanded under HR156(2)(a) for using her whip in more than a flicking motion. When assessing penalty, Stewards considered Ms Brown’s excellent record under this rule.
RACE 10 – ROTARY ENDING POLIO 2YO FILLIES PACE (2130MS)
RUIA NZ (C Lewis) - Slow to begin. Raced roughly after the start. A warning was issued against the filly’s racing manner.
RUBY LOU (S Suvaljko) - When interviewed, Driver S Suvaljko expressed disappointment in the performance and stated that the filly had travelled comfortably, however when shifted outwards near the 400m, the filly raced roughly when contacting its knee. Trainer M Reed stated he would now consider corrective shoeing in an endeavour to address this issue and have the filly race more tractably.
