Trainers with multiple runners in any one race were questioned in relation to their intended tactics.
Due to Driver C Voak being under suspension, Stewards approved the following Driver changes:

Due to Driver E Suvaljko being injured at trackwork, Stewards approved the following Driver changes:

RACE 1 – GARRARDS HERE ON TRACK 3YO PACE (2130MS)
ITSOKTOBEGREY (L Edwards) – When interviewed into his driving of the gelding in the early stages where he has made an unsuccessful challenge for the lead in the early stages and was then forced to race without cover throughout with the gelding tiring from the 600m. Driver L Edwards advised the gelding was best suited when leading and had attempted to gain that position from barrier 2 and when not successful attempted to restrain to gain a position behind the leader I CROSS MY HEART (A Cortopassi), as this did not eventuate he was obliged to race without cover where the gelding over-raced in running which contributed to its finishing position.

RACE 4 – COWDEN THE INSURANCE BROKERS (DIV.1) PACE (2130MS)
LUKE ATTACK (L Edwards) – Broke gait racing towards the front straight on the final occasion when the hopple shortening cord entangled around the geldings off hind leg. As a result, no action was taken.
RACE 5 – HOIST SOLUTIONS PACE (2536MS)

RACE 6 – TABRADIO PACE (2130MS)
No racing incidents to report.
RACE 7 – SEFS - YOU NAME IT, WE FUND IT PACE (213
A false start was caused when FLYING COPPA (B Stampalia) broke gait prior to the start being effected checking SPUDMEISTER (G Schofield). At the next attempt FLYING COPPA broke gait shortly after the start and will now be placed outside the draw in future mobile barrier events.
DON’T GOIN THEWATER (L Edwards) – Broke gait racing out of the back straight on the first occasion. Will be stood down from racing for a period of 6 days and until such time as the completion of 1 satisfactory re-qualifying trial.
SPUDMEISTER (G Schofield) – Driver G Schofield was reprimanded under HR163(1)(b)(i) for causing ROCKABILITY (S Suvaljko) to race into a four wide position racing into the back straight on the final occasion prior to the designated ease out pole. In assessing the incident Stewards took into account driver G Schofield had been attempting to move outwards prior to ROCKABILITY racing to the outside of his sulky wheel.
RACE 8 – TABTOUCH TROT (2503M
The all clear was delayed enabling Stewards to review vision of the start to consider if MRIYA DREAM (B Johnson) which had turned and stood flatfooted was denied a fair start. After viewing the vision Stewards were satisfied that the gelding had the opportunity of a fair start and all clear was given.
MRIYA DREAM (B Johnson) – Stood flat footed at the start as the start was effected trailed the field throughout and as this gelding had offended previously will be stood down from racing in standing starts until the completion of 4 satisfactory standing start trials.
QUIGGLEY (D Egerton-Green) – Paced at the start and when restrained broke gait shortly after. Raced in the incorrect gate racing into the back straight on the first occasion before being restrained and breaking gait. The gelding will be placed outside the draw in future standing start events and will be stood down from racing from racing for a period of 6 days and until such time as the completion of 1 satisfactory re-qualifying trial.
AH UNAGI (C Lewis) – Broke gait racing into the back straight on the first occasion and again in the front straight on the final occasion. Will be stood from racing for a period of 14 days and until such time the completion of 2 satisfactory re-qualifying trials.
SELLUNE (D Harper) – Galloped out at the start and a warning was issued.
RACE 9 – VILI'S FAMILY BAKERY 2YO PACE (2130MS)
BELLY UP (S McDonald) – Hung inwards approaching the finish despite the efforts of its driver, as a result made contact with the off hind of THE RIZZLER (D Harper) which was checked. A warning was issued.
THE RIZZLER (D Harper) – Contacted and checked approaching the finish.
RACE 10 – BRIDGE BAR PACE (2130MS)
WHERES FLARE (C Peterson) – Hung inwards throughout running placing the driver at a disadvantage. The mare returned with the near side murphy blind detached which occurred shortly after the start, as a result of this occurrence no action was taken.
