RWWA STEWARDS’ SUMMARY REPORT
MEETING HELD AT GLOUCESTER PARK ON TUESDAY 11 NOVEMBER 2025

Trainers with multiple runners in any one race were questioned in relation to their intended tactics.
A number of drivers competing at this meeting were selected to provide urine samples for routine analysis.
RACE 1 – FREE ENTRY AT GLOUCESTER PARK 2YO C&G PACE (2130MS)
BELIEVE IN BETTOR (W Reid) – Out of position at the start. A warning was issued. Checked in the front straight on the first occasion.
WEESY KID (T Wheeler) – Broke gait in the front straight on the first occasion. Will now be stood down from racing for a period of 6 days and until completion of one satisfactory re qualifying trial.
BROOME BEACH (G. Butler) – Hung inwards leaving the back straight on the final occasion, inconveniencing MATERNAL DREAMS (D Roberts), which was forced to race inside the marker pegs for a short distance. Shortly after, the gelding, when racing greenly, shifted outwards and contacted the sulky of SOME LINE (M Miller). Due to its racing manners, the gelding was stood down from racing for a period of six days and until the completion of a satisfactory re-qualifying trial.
TOO FAR AWAY TED (C Voak) – Inconvenienced in the front straight on the first occasion.
ARMA MUSHU (D Egerton-Green) – Inconvenienced in the front straight on the first occasion.
TEXAS STROM (A De Campo) – Inconvenienced in the front straight on the final occasion.
RACE 2 – BOOK INTO STEELO’S TONIGHT PACE (2130
WHEN IN VEGAS (T Nally) – Was a late scratching at approximately 4:11 p.m. on veterinary advice after the gelding sustained an injury to its off-hind leg following a mishap in its stall prior to the race. The gelding was stood down from racing for a period of seven days and until a veterinary certificate of soundness is produced.
AMERICAN BLAZE NZ (E. Suvaljko) – When interviewed regarding her driving tactics, Driver E Suvaljko stated that after being unable to cross DUNKALLEDY NZ (L. Elliott) in the early stages, she elected to trail that runner briefly and when BOY BLUE NZ (C. Voak) improved in the one-out line, she shifted wider to race outside the leader rather than risk being covered by other runners. Ms Suvaljko further stated that the gelding’s performance was slightly disappointing, as a stronger showing had been expected.
RACE 3 – BOOK YOUR CHRISTMAS PARTY AT GLOUCESTER PARK PACE (1730MS)
No racing incidents to report.
RACE 4 – NEW YEARS EVE AT GLOUCESTER PARK PACE (2130MS)
HENTY (L Kennelly) – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer M Reed advised he would assess the gelding's recovery and advise of any abnormalities.
RACE 5 – $9 PINTS EVERY FRIDAY IN STEELO’S OR JP’S PACE (2130MS)
LETS ROCK TONIGHT (B Edman) – Out of position at the start. A warning was issued.
RACE 6 – TROTSYND – JOIN THE FUN PACE (2130MS)
GINNIVAN (D Harper) – Broke gait approaching the front straight on the first occasion. Will be stood down from racing for a period of 6 days and until completion of one satisfactory re qualifying trial.
SAMMY SUFFARELL (G Butler) - Broke gait approaching the front straight on the first occasion. Will be stood down from racing for a period of 6 days and until completion of one satisfactory re qualifying trial.
STRAUNYS SISTER (A Vidovich) – Inconvenienced approaching the front straight on the first occasion.
STRIKING A DEAL (A Markham)– Inconvenienced approaching the front straight on the first occasion.
CLASSICAL ELLIE (K Harper) – Inconvenienced approaching the front straight on the first occasion.
RACE 7 – NEW MENUS TONIGHT IN STEELO’S PACE (2130MS)
No racing incidents to report.
RACE 8 – THE RUNNING CAMEL CONDITIONED HCP TROT (2536SS)
MAJESTIC GA GA (E Suvaljko) – Galloped at the start. Will remain outside of the draw for future standing start events.
THATS NOT MY GAIT (A De Campo) – Broke gait approaching the winning post on the first occasion.
General: On inquiry it was established that as QUIGGLEY (D Egerton-Green) had shifted inwards towards the marker pegs at the same time THATS NOT MY GAIT was improving to that position and when being eased by its driver, broke gait. After considering all the circumstances, Stewards were satisfied that no driver had driven carelessly, and consequently, no further action was taken.
RACE 9 – GARRARDS AT GLOUCESTER PARK PACE (1730MS)
DIVAS SPIRIT (S McDonald) – Broke gait in the score up and was out of position at the start. Will be placed outside of the draw in future mobile barrier events.
TOFFEE APPLE NZ (W Reid) – Raced roughly leaving the back straight on the first occasion.
