Trainers with multiple runners in any one race were questioned in relation to their intended tactics.
RACE 1 – ALLWOOD STUD FARM 3YO WESTBRED FILLIES PACE (2130MS)
DEKLA DIVA (B Smith) – Broke gait as the start was effected. Will be placed outside the draw in future mobile barrier events.
COPY OF PARIS (A Cortopassi) – Out of position as the start was effected. A warning was issued against the filly's barrier manners.
RACE 2 – ASCOT GROUP WA PACE (2130MS)
FIREPLAY (R Warwick) – Broke gait racing into the front straight on the first occasion and was retired from the event. Upon review it was established that the hopple shortening cord malfunctioned getting caught around the off-hind leg, considering circumstances no action was taken.
ALTA MAGUIRE (E Suvaljko) – Raced roughly after the start was effected. A warning was placed against the gelding's barrier manners. Inconvenienced racing in the front straight on the first occasion.
ATLANTAS (T Lynn) – Checked racing in the front straight on the first occasion.
General: Diver C Voak (COHLIN) was advised to exercise care when shifting inwards which caused FIORD (D Harper) to steady when racing towards the front straight on the first occasion.
RACE 3 – GARRARDS - YOUR ONE STOP SHOP (DIV.2) PACE (2130MS)
No racing incidents to report.
RACE 4 – HOIST TORQUE AUSTRALIA (DIV.1) PACE (2130MS)
HENGHENG ( L Harper) – Momentarily locked wheels with IL BANDITO (J Rigoli) racing into the front straight on the final occasion.
RACE 5 – NORTH COAST FIBREGLASS PACE (2536MS)
AMAZING AMERICAN (S Suvaljko) – Raced roughly leaving the back straight on the final occasion. Shortly after, was tightened and steadied when JOE WITH THE FLOW (D Harper) was carried inwards, following an inwards movement from THOMSON BAY (S McDonald). Driver S McDonald was cautioned and advised to make a greater effort to prevent his drives from shifting inward in future.
RACE 6 – WESTRAL (DIV.1) PACE (2130MS)
KEAYANG JIGSAW ( M Tenardi) – Broke gait in the score up. Will be placed outside the draw in future mobile barrier events.
RACE 7 – RETRAVISION, EVERY DAY'S A SALE (DIV.2) PACE (2130MS)
SUB MARINER (M Miller) – Broke gait racing in the back straight on the final occasion and again in the front straight on the final occasion. Will be stood down from racing for a period of 6 days and until such time as the completion of 1 satisfactory re-qualifying trial.
LOWLANDS BEACH BOY (T Wheeler) – Beaten 100 metres. Considering the distance between the field, a warning was issued only.
BLACKSAMURAI (C Voak) – Inconvenienced in the back straight on the final occasion.
RACE 8 – PERTH'S HIT MUSIC STATION NOVA 93.7 PACE (2130MS)
FOLLOW MY STRIDE (S Grout) – When held up for clear running and attempting a marginal run was steadied from the sulky wheel of UNLUCKY (L Harper) approaching the finish. Driver S Grout was shown vision of the incident and advised to exercise greater care in similar circumstances.
ELLIEGOZOOM (C Wallrodt) – Was held tight while racing to the inside of ALFA PRINCESS (S Young), when VALHALLA MISS (S Suvaljko) which had been racing to their outside lay inwards, causing ELLIEGOZOOM to race over two marker pegs. Driver S Suvaljko was advised to take all necessary precautions to prevent his drives from shifting inward in future.
ALFA PRINCESS (S Young) – Driver S Young was shown the race vision of his drive shifting outwards in the home straight causing tightening to VALHALLA MISS (S Suvaljko). Driver S Young was advised to exercise more care when shifting outwards in similar circumstances.
General: Driver L Harper (UNLUCKY) requested the photo finish to be reviewed prior to all clear with no further action taken.
RACE 9 – WWW.GLOUCESTERPARK.COM.AU PACE (2130MS)
No racing incidents to report.
RACE 10 – TASTE OF WA IN BEAU RIVAGE 2YO PACE (2130MS)
CANELO (S Suvaljko) – Broke in the score up and again shortly after the start. Will be placed outside the draw in future mobile barrier events.
