RACE 1 – HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM GLOUCESTER PARK PACE (2130MS)
OUR LILILOU (M Miller) – Trainer K Prentice advised that he was disappointed in the mare’s performance and it will now be sent for a spell.
YOU FLY WITH ME NZ (B Edman) – Out of position as the start was effected, a warning was issued.
ACOLTNAMEDSU (A De Campo) – Raced roughly in the score up and was out of position as the start was effected, a warning was issued.
RACE 2 – PERTH'S #1 STATION NOVA 93.7 PACE (2130MS)
HES THUNDER (S Steele) – Broke gait when racing into the back straight on the final occasion. Will be stood down from racing for a period of 6 days and until such time as the completion of 1 satisfactory re-qualifying trial.
ON THE BACK FOOT (K Harper) – Inconvenienced behind a galloping runner when racing in the back straight on the final occasion.
STRIKE MASTER NZ (A De Campo) – Out of position as the start was effected.
ISLAND TEE REX (A Markham) – Out of position as the start was effected.
RACE 3 – NORTH COAST FIBREGLASS PACE (2130MS)
WALL STREET GIRL (J Young) – Broke gait leaving the back straight on the first occasion. Will be stood down from racing for a period of 6 days and until such time as the completion of 1 satisfactory re-qualifying trial.
RACE 4 – TABRADIO PACE (2130MS)
BILLY TO THE MAX (P Tilbrook) – Gave ground from the 700m to be beaten 221 metres. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the mare had returned mildly lame in the off hind. Will be stood down from racing for a period of 6 days and until such time as the completion of 1 satisfactory re-qualifying trial.
RACE 5 – PICK YOUR RACE NAME AT GP 3YO PACE (1730MS)
No racing incidents to report.
RACE 6 – WESTSIDE AUTO WHOLESALE 3000 IN STOCK PACE (2130MS)
CORK CAN RUN (C Lewis) – Driver C Lewis was fined $100 under HR168(1)(a) for careless driving in allowing his drive to shift inwards causing HEEZ GOOD AS GOLD (S Suvaljko) to be tightened and checked. In considering penalty, Stewards were mindful of the low level of interference and that HEEZ GOOD AS GOLD did not lose its position in the event.
RACE 7 – GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND 2YO PACE (2130MS)
TAYLORS BOY FRED (C Peterson) – Gave ground from the 400m and sustained a flat tyre at the 400m.
RACE 8 – ASCOT GROUP WA PACE (2130MS)
