BLAZE ON NZ (G Hall Jnr) – Raced roughly racing towards the front straight on the final occasion, a warning was issued.
General: Trainer G Inwood was fined $50 under the provisions of rule 273(6)(b) for presenting the gelding FIREROCKFIREROLL (D Egerton-Green) with the incorrect gear, with the addition of sliding block blinkers on.

STELLA MAJOR (K Harper) withdrawn at 4.38pm on Veterinary advice when it was found the mare had suffered a floating mishap enroute to the course and was found to be lame in the near fore. Will be stood down from racing for a period of 7 days and until such time as a veterinary certificate of soundness be provided.
