Trainers with multiple horses engaged in any given race were questioned as to the intended driving tactics to be adopted.
RACE 1 – BARWON FMPACE (2100 MS)
BETTORPATCHMEUP – Broke gait after the start. The gelding will now be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile races.
CHEETAH LODGE – Inconvenienced leaving the 250m when GIVE DAVE A WAVE shifted ground.
HEAVENLY BRIGADE NZ – Raced three-wide from the 850m with a trail.
AXE AND DEEZ – Inconvenienced after the start when BETTORPATCHMEUP broke gait.
LENARD ESS – Held up for clear running entering the home straight.
TIL HEAVENS ROCKN NZ – Raced three-wide from the 850m
RACE 2 – TAB MARES PACE (1st HEAT) (1609 MS)
NOTHING SWEETER – Inconvenienced leaving the 400m when CALYPSO MISTRESS broke gait.
CALYPSO MISTRESS – Broke gait when free of interference leaving the 400m. A last chance to race truly was placed against the mare. Underwent a post- race veterinarian examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.
SPUN SILVER – Inconvenienced approaching the 400m when FAKE CULLECTION started to tire.
FAKE CULLECTION – Hung in the score up, started to tire leaving the 400m to be beaten 84.7m. A warning was placed against FAKE CULLECTION.
RUBY WINGATE – Hung in the score up, out of position as the start was initiated. The mare will now be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile races.
RACE 3 – SOUTHERN CROSS FEEDS MARES PACE (2ND HEAT) (1609 MS)
BOND GIRL – Shifted out shortly after the start having to be steadied. Broke gait when free of interference leaving the 1400m, a last chance to race truly was placed against BOND GIRL.
JAY BEE – Pulled hard in various stages of the race.
STELLAR QUEEN – Shifted in shortly after the start, having to be steadied when BOND GIRL slightly shifted out.
BETTY LOU – Broke gait in the early stages of the score up, out of position as the start was initiated. The mare will now be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile races. Started to tire leaving the 500m to be beaten 64.2m a warning was placed against BETTY LOU.
OUR KINKY BOOTS – Shifted in shortly after the start having to be steadied, before working forward to the lead.
PRECIOUS BELLE NZ – Pulled hard in various stages of the race.
PARIS PRINCESS – Surrendered the lead in the middle stages to OUR KINKY BOOTS then pulled hard.
PET KITTY – Hung out in the score up, will continue to be placed out of the draw in future mobile starts. Held up for clear running entering the home straight.
RACE 4 – HOYTS FOOD 3YO MAIDEN PACE (1609 MS)
SOMETUFFLUV – Pulled hard in various stages of the race.
SMOKESCREEN – Raced three-wide from the 850m.
BLUE MIKI – Started to give ground leaving the 700m to be beaten 40m. Trainer/driver David Murphy reported he was disappointed in the performance of BLUE MIKI and the stable would monitor the recovery of the gelding and report back to stewards if anything with the gelding comes about over the next 48hrs.
KALKADOON DREAMING – Pulled hard in the early stages of the race. Raced three-wide from the 850m with a trail. Started to give ground leaving the 500m to be beaten 48.2m.
RACE 5 – OCIRA CONCRETE STRUCTURES MARES PACE (1st HEAT) (1609 MS)
OUR PRINCESS DI – Pulled hard in various stages throughout the race. Started to give ground from the 250m.
HERESHECOMESSASSY – Inconvenienced approaching the 250m when OUR PRINCESS DI started to give ground.
RACE 6 – EVOLUTION LODGE MARES TROT (1609 MS)
ALWAYS SKYE HIGH – Locked wheels with ONETWOSKIPPERFEW over the concluding stages.
ONETWOSKIPPERFEW – Locked wheels with ALWAYS SKYE HIGH over the concluding stages.
SILENT REVERIE – Pulled hard in various stages of the race.
MAORI DUCHESS – Out of position as the start was initiated, will continue to be placed out of the draw in future mobile starts.
ADJURE – Raced rough in the score up. Out of position as the start was initiated, will continue to be placed out of the draw in future mobile starts. Broke gait when free of interference leaving the 1200m and galloped for a considerable distance and was subsequently pulled up from the race. After a review of the mare’s recent record a warning was placed against ADJURE.
RACE 7 – JIMS MOWING VICBRED PLATINUM MARES SPRINT CHAMPIONSHIP (2ND HEAT) (1609 MS)
ALFNALMA – Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages.
IDEAL ASSASSIN – Was restrained in the early stages. Then started to pull hard before working forward to be outside the leader.
JOELITA – Began badly shortly after the start was initiated. The mare will now be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile races.
RACE 8 – HARAS DES TROTTEURS MARES TROT (1ST HEAT) (1609 MS)
LINK IN BIO – Stewards inquired into the reason the near side hind bandaged become unravelled over the last 50m. After taking evidence from driver Chris Alford on behalf of trainer Alison Alford. Stewards fined trainer Alison Alford under AHRR 273(2)(b) the sum of $100.00.
KEAYANG GUCCI – Raced wide in the early and middle stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader near the 1100m. Broke gait when free of interference approaching the 200m. A last chance to race truly was placed against KEAYANG GUCCI.
RACE 9 – TEAM ZAV 3YO MAIDEN PACE (1609 MS)
APACHE PLUME – Broke gait shortly after the start was initiated. The filly will now be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile races.
TOUGH SHAZ – Due to having not competed in races for more than twelve (12) months was examined by the veterinarian before and after the race which revealed no apparent abnormalities.
