The sprint lane was in operation for tonights event.

Trainers with multiple runners in any one race provided Stewards with their intentions prior to the event.

RACE 1–K & S ELECTRICAL PACE - 2230MS

A warning placed on LOCHINVAR RULER (NTardio) which raced roughly approaching the start.

RACE 2 – 2024 LADBROKES 4YO & OLDER ENTIRES & GELDINGS SOUTHERN CROSS SERIES (HEAT 1) – 2230MS

No racing incidents.

RACE 3 – 2024 LADBROKES 4YO & OLDER ENTIRES & GELDINGS SOUTHERN CROSS SERIES (HEAT 2) – 2230MS

A warning placed on LETHAL LOUIE (M Smith) which galloped after leaving back straight first occasion.

Near the 400 Metres JOONIOR BROWN (S Hill) was inconvenienced when ROYAL WATCH (R Hryhorec) shifted ground outwards to obtain clear running. Stewards were satisfied that Hryhorec had shifted ground with reasonable care however when the sulky wheels freed his sulky had come out under JOONIOR BROWN which prior to being moved had been inclined to hang in.

RACE 4 – WEOWNA KENNY PACE – 1800MS

No racing incidents.

RACE 5 – NORTHSIDE TROPHIES PACE – 1800MS

JILLIBY MISTRESS (R Hryhorec) shifted ground up the track over concluding stages and Hryhorec was reminded of his obligations.

RACE 6 – ECO-WISE PLUMBING GROUP  PACE - 2230MS

Stewards advised Nick Tardio (BUTTERCUP) that his decision in going forward in the back straight on completion of a lap bordered on unacceptable and in future drives, would be expected to show far more judgement.

A post-race veterinary examination of MISS IDAHO (R Hryhorec) $1:55 Fav. revealed a highly elevated heart rate, slow recovery and signs of colic attack. Trainer to advise should anything further arise.

BETTOR BE LIVELY (N Brown) utilised sprint lane to win the race.

RACE 7– JOJUBI SADDLERY PACE  - 2230MS

A warning placed on ILLAWONG LORD (G Pullicino) which momentarily broke gait in front straight to receive the bell and checked FALCONS LAD (M Harding) and LUNCHINHEAVEN (S Forby)

A warning placed on LUNCHINHEAVEN which galloped turn off back straight after the start.

Reinsperson Scott Forby reprimanded under R168(1)(a) for contacting the rear of sulky on FALCONS LAD which was tiring after entering back straight final occasion.

RACE 8 – KEVIN & KAY SEYMOUR PACE – 1800MS

No racing incidents to report.

RACE 9 – SEYMOUR GROUP SA CONCESSION DRIVERS SERIES TROTTERS MOBILE – 2230MS

STINGOFAWASP (D Whelan) which galloped at the start will be excluded from the draw future mobile barrier start races.

A warning placed on ANDOVERLOV (J Holberton) which galloped near 350 Metres.

RACE 10 – MEMBERS CHRISTMAS PARTY @ GLOBE DECEMBER 8 PACE– 2230MS

A false start was called when the headcheck clip on CELESTIAL TOPAZ (R Hryhorec) became caught in the fastener.

No action taken against Tony Pullicino (My Babygirl) for being .01 second outside prescribed time of 64 seconds for first half last mile.

Reinsperson Greg Rogers (HEZA STEEL) was fined $100 under R156(2)(a).for using whip in more than a flicking motion.

OUR WANTSNNEEDS reinstated in draw for future mobile barrier start races.

RACE 11 – HYGAIN SA CONCESSION DRIVERS SERIES TROTTERS MOBILE – 2230MS

SPOTLIGHT (D Whelan) and GREAT FANTASY (C Johnson) momentarily engaged sulkies near 600 metres resulting in SPOTLIGHT galloping and sustaining a flat off side sulky wheel.

RACE 12 – SUNDONS COURAGE @ TRUSCOTT LODGE TROTTERS MOBILE – 2230MS

No racing incidents to report.
