Stewards Report

Globe Derby Park Monday 18th November 2024

The sprint lane was in operation for tonights event.

Trainers with multiple runners in any one race provided Stewards with their intentions prior to the event.

RACE 1– SOUTHERN CROSS FINALS SATURDAY NOVEMBER 3 2YO TROTTERS MOBILE  1800MS

LICKADEE SPLIT (B Loades) which galloped on two occasions was placed on last chance truly.

CHICAGO CRAZE was reinstated in the draw future mobile barrier start races.

RACE 2 – LADBROKES ODDS SURGE 2YO PACE – 1800MS

Reinsperson Dainielle Hill (STARS LEGACY) was reprimanded under R163(1)(a)(i) for when crossing TIGER ROARS (B Loades) in the back straight first occasion allowing minimal room only.

Reinsperson Ben Loades (TIGER ROARS) reprimanded under R168(1)(a) for when trailing STARS LEGACY (D Hill) too closely.

TIGERS ROAR utilised sprint lane.

RACE 3 – RACING AT GLOBE DERBY SUNDAY NOVEMBER 24 PACE – 1800MS

A warning placed on BLAZIN BELLA (G Pullicino) for being out of position at start.

SANTIAGO LOU (R Hryhorec) galloped in score up, was out of position at start and will continue to be excluded from barrier draw.

TWELVEGAUGEHANOVER (M Norman) which hung throughout and raced roughly beaten 100 metres will be stood down until completes a requalifying trial. The lugging pole became detached on the filly late in the race.

RACE 4 – PASTOR STEPHEN USA @ LLOWALONG FARM TROTTERS HANDICAP – 2230SS

PATRICIA EM (Bernadette Page) raced roughly on turn out of back straight first occasion.

A warning placed on MAGICAL TRIX (D Hill) which galloped leaving back straight first occasion.

A warning placed on JET LEGS (W Hill) which galloped near 350 metres severely checking KABAYO KING (A Chapman) and BROWN EYED KATE (G Pullicino).

RACE 5 – GLOBE MEMBERS CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION SUNDAY DECEMBER 8 PACE – 1800MS

Reinsperson John Lee (MARTYS PARTY) fined $50 under R162(1)(h).for failing to come into position at start.

A post-race veterinary examination of WITH AUTHORITY (B Page) which was taken from race with 700 metres to run confirmed it had suffered a bleeding attack. Trainer Daniel Tucker was advised the gelding was stood for life under R101(3)(b) as this was second attack. CLARENDEN VICTORY (D Smith) and BRUZER (D Girardi) were both checked when WITH AUTHORITY gave ground.

JILLIBY CHAMBERS (T Pullicino) which galloped after leaving the back straight first occasion and beaten 340 metres stood down until completes a satisfactory trial.

RACE 6 – ROSEWORTHY VETERINARY HOSPITAL PACE – 1800MS

OUR WANTSNEEDS (M Borg) which galloped after the start will be excluded from the draw in future mobile barrier start races.

On the home turn final occasion CELESTIAL TOPAZ (K Weidenbach) shifted inwards and locked sulky wheels with CHRISLYNN (Danielle Hill) and warning placed on CELESTIAL TOPAZ.

RACE 7– SEYMOUR GROUP PACE - 2230MS

The left foot of Gaita Pullicino (STAR OF WILLOUGHBY) dropped momentarily out of sulky rest home turn final occasion whilst activating gear.

DIAMOND MOUNTED (W Hill) hung inwards home turn final occasion and didn’t run on.

RACE 8 – LADBROKES EASY FORM PACE – 1800MS

No racing incidents.

RACE 9 – HORSEMEDSA EQUINE VETERINARY CLINICS PACE  – 1800MS

Permission was given for MY BABYGIRL (T McMahon) to race with a shadow roll on as it had been jumping shadows in its preliminary.

RACE 10 –  DANCINGINTHEDARK M USA @ ALDEBARAN PARK TROTTERS – 2230MS

No racing incidents.

RACE 11 – JOJUBI SADDLERY PACE  – 1800MS

STALEY (W Hill) utilised sprint lane to win race.
