The sprint lane was in operation at tonight’s event.
Trainers with multiple runners in any one race provided Stewards with their intentions prior to the event.
RACE 1 – REMEMBRANCE DAY PACE – 1800MS
BRING MY BLING (M Smith) which galloped at start will continue to be excluded from draw.
A warning placed on ALBYNITE (R Hryhorec) which galloped leaving front straight first occasion.
RICKSHAWSHADOW reinstated in draw for mobile barrier start races.
RACE 2 – FAST AS THE WIND USA @ WINGATE FARM TROTTERS HANDICAP– 2230SS
Approaching turn off back straight after the start MOONSHINE PENNY (M Smith) was tightened and broke gait when HAYOAK (D Girardi) to his outside and WISHING ZONE (D Hill) to his inside shifted ground marginally. Stewards were satisfied no one driver was at fault and took no further action.
TROTTENEM OKAY (N Brown) galloped leaving backstraight first occasion and placed on last chance to race truly.
HAYOAK which had galloped in first incident again galloped front straight first occasion checking MOONSHINE PENNY and warning issued.
When questioned Ryan Hryhorec (MAJESTIC PARIS) and Danielle Hill (WISHING ZONE) both stated that their drives with the tempo of the race not suited by being three wide over final 850 Metres.
Following the race Michael Smith approached Stewards and as he was unwell was replaced on the following horses by David Smith. Race 5. PLUTUS. Race 7. PASSIONATE PURSUIT. Bernadette Page. Race 9. ALIMONIE. David Smith.
A medical clearance required before Michael Smith eligible to drive in races or trials.
RACE 3 – ECO-WISE PLUMBING GROUP PACE - 1800MS

RACE 4 – SKYVALLEY NZ @ ALDEBARAN PARK TROTTERS HANDICAP – 2230SS
Warning placed on OUR SPITFIRE (N Brown) which commenced poorly and took no competitive part in race.
VINAIGRETTE (K Wilson) commenced slowly.
No action against Ryan Hryhorec (THUNDER WING) which contacted 20 Metre barrier tape despite his efforts.
A warning placed on BJ LINDENNY (M Borg) which galloped on two occasions.
Reinsperson Ryan Hryhorec (THUNDER WING) fined $100 under R 168(1)(a) for contacting and puncturing the offside sulky tyre of GEORGY GIRL (M Harding) at winning post with a lap to run.
Post-race swab from THE CLIPPER.
RACE 5 – LADBROKES FAST WITHDRAWALS PACE – 1800MS
Leaving front straight PLUTUS (D Smith) hung outwards checking OUR WANTSNNEEDS (M Borg) and CLARENDEN CRUISER (D Hill). Warning placed on PLUTUS racing manners.
A post-race veterinary examination of CLARENDEN CRUISER (D Hill) which was eased out of race over concluding stages revealed no abnormalities. Driver was of view it had choked down. Trainer to advise should anything arise upon return to stable.
Reinsperson Greg Rogers (HEZA STEEL) advised to further modify his whip action.
RACE 6 – SAHRC AGM NOVEMBER 27 PACE (HEAT 1) - 1800MS
Reinsperson Katie Wilson (CYCLONE BRENDA) reprimanded under R 168 (1)(a) for commencing to take a run to the inside of MEET ME AT THE BEACH (G Pullicino) back straight final occasion. When obliged to ease CYCLONE BRENDA inconvenienced LUV ME OR HATE ME (L Ryan) and OUR ART CHRISTIAN (T Pullicino).
RACE 7 - LADBROKES PACE (HEAT 2) – 1800MS
No report.
RACE 8 – BARGAIN STEEL CENTRE PACE (HEAT 3) – 2230MS
JILLIBY CHAMBERS (Nick Tardio) which galloped in score up will continue to be excluded from draw.
RACE 9 - BIANCO REINFORCING PACE – 1800MS
A false start called when MANOEUVRER MAN (S Kittel) in barrier Two was unable take position on barrier despite efforts of the driver and now excluded from draw future mobile barrier start races.
A warning placed on EUGENE BROMAC (J Kittel) which raced greenly home turn final occasion and contacted marker pegs.
RACE 10 - KEVIN AND KAY SEYMOUR PACE - 1800MS
Reinsperson Anthony Robinson (VATICAN GREEN) fined $100 under R168 (1)(a) for contacting and puncturing the offside sulky tyre of CELESTIAL TOPAZ (K Weidenbach) approaching home turn final occasion.
Stewards questioned Kevin Weidenbach as to why he drove with his left leg out of sulky rest in the home straight to the finish. He stated that after the contact on sulky tyre it was to retain his balance and at no time did his foot make contact to his drive. Stewards in noting his comments made him aware of the image it portrays to the public.
