The sprint lane was in operation for todays event.

Trainers with multiple runners in any one race provided Stewards with their intentions prior to the event.

GENERAL

Stewards questioned Trainer Ryan Hryhorec as to the reason SADIE ROSE was a starter in Race 5 today after Stewards were advised that the mare would be retired when a scratching from Port Pirie on 26th November 2024. He stated owners of the mare had changed their decision in relation to breeding from the mare in the immediate future and would continue with a racing programme now.

RACE 1– SKYVALLEY NZ @ ALDEBARAN PARK 2YO & OLDER TROTTERS MOBILE  - 1800MS

BEYONDTHESTARS (M Norman) which galloped in the score up and refused to trot for a considerable distance and took no competitive part in the race will be excluded from the draw mobile barrier start races and stood down until completes satisfactory trial.

A warning placed on LICKADEE SPLIT (G Pullicino) which galloped at winning post lap to run checking QUARTARARO (K Wilson) and DANCE THE DANCE (R Hryhorec).

DANCE THE DANCE galloped near 400 metres and as it had galloped its previous two starts stood down until completes a satisfactory trial.

RACE 2   WALLY THE PHOTOGRAPHER 2YO PACE –1800MS

The near side cord on shortening pin of MY GIRL MIA (M Smith) became entangled in hopple and placed filly at some disadvantage as it shifted in and contacted marker pegs near 400 metres.

RACE 3– SUNDONS COURAGE @ TRUSCOTT LODGE TROTTERS HANDICAP  2230SS

MAJESTIC PARIS (R Hryhorec) commenced poorly and was then checked when KABAYO KING (G Bell) galloped leaving back straight first occasion.

The 30 metre barrier tape contacted RIOTERRA (T Pullicino) at the start but did not cause any real inconvenience.

QUICK QUAKER (M Norman) galloped leaving back straight first occasion and warning issued.

Racing into front straight to receive the bell sulkies of PADDY PANTS (E Brechin) and SPEEDY SEBASTIAN (A Chapman) locked up resulting in SPEEDY SEBASTIAN galloping checking MAJESTIC PARIS, RIOTERRA and WISHING ZONE (S Hill). Stewards felt there was no significant movement by the drivers and took no action against them.

A warning placed on SPEEDY SEBASTIAN which galloped after entering back straight final occasion.

HI HO KYVALLEY (W Hill) cast off fore shoe in running.

RACE 4 – COBBITTY EQUINE FARM PACE  – 1800MS

A warning placed on PAULIS PRIDE (S Grace) which galloped entering back straight first occasion checking ILLAWONG LORD (T Pullicino), ACES SHADOW (B Page) and JILLIBY CHAMBERS (R Hryhorec.

Near the 350 metres JILLIBY CHAMBERS was in a run between ILLAWONG LORD and WEWILL HAILCAESAR (T Martlew) where there was limited room and tightened when both horses shifted ground marginally.

JILLIBY CHAMBERS reinstated in draw future mobile barrier start races.

RACE 5 – ALABAR PACE – 1800MS

TOMMY MACH (B Page) which galloped in score up and was out of position at start will be excluded from draw future mobile barrier starts.

Approaching back straight first occasion OUR WANTSNEEDS (M Borg) momentarily raced roughly when racing on the back of LEAVING A LEGACY (D Smith) when the pace eased in the one out line.

Reinsperson Tony Pullicino (SWAFFHAM JACK) fined $100 under R156 (2) (b) (iii).for using whip with overt force.

A final warning placed on BETTOR LOVER (S Hill) which galloped after entering front straight final occasion.

RACE 6 – ECO-WISE PLUMBING GROUP PACE - 1800MS

GIANT JACKSON (G Pullicino) contacted and punctured its near side sulky tyre approaching back straight after the start.

RACE 7– LADBROKES BET TICKER PACE  - 1800MS

Prior to All Clear the Judge advised Stewards Photo Finish had not operated however he was satisfied with the placings he gave and All Clear was given.

REIGN SHADOW reinstated in draw future mobile barrier start races.

RACE 8 – KEVIN AND KAY SEYMOUR PACE  – 1800MS

Reinsperson Ryan Hryhorec (HUGH GO) cautioned for when crossing THE LADYBIRD (G Bell) leaving front straight after the start obliging Ms Bell to ease her drive.

GLOBAL GEM reinstated in draw future mobile barrier start races.

RACE 9 – K & S ELECTRICAL PACE – 1800MS

A warning placed on LUNCHINHEAVEN (S Forby) which paced roughly shortly after the start.

RACE 10 –LADBROKES ODDS SURGE PACE– 1800MS

CHARMING MAJOR (D Whelan) which galloped shortly after start excluded from draw in future mobile barrier start races.
